Social norms dont disappear. Despite outward changes, they persist. Users can avoid discrimination online with anonymity and privacy. However, the internet cannot eliminate these prejudices and social conventions.

However, culture and place do matter. In gender-equal countries, women and men gamble online equally. However, gender discrepancies in online gaming cannot be ignored.

When you check very well you see and know that woman who plays gamble are very few compare to men, you know many people seen gamblers as irresponsible people and since they are seen as irresponsible that is one of the things that makes women don't like to participate in gambling, if we should perform a census of women who is into gambling in each of the country, you see that the result will be few, it's men who is into gambling and they are gambling addicts and nothing will make man to desist from gambling except that man doesn't have funds to bet.

I might not completely agree with you on this, first, its true that there are some women who naturally don't have interest in gambling because its not in their nature, same also can be said about some men too, there are some neighbors of mine who will never attempt gambling even if you offer to pay for the bet, they will tell you to give them the money that they will use it for some thing more important to them.
And then again, we can not deny the fact that most women also choose to stay away from gambling due to the fact that the society have installed in them the believe that its irresponsible for women to engage themselves in gambling, so aside the fact some of them naturally hate gambling, which like I've said is also found in some men, the society where they live also plays an important role to their decision of not engaging in gambling.

Sorry this is a bit outside of gambling but come to think of this, don't you think this well-modernized society thing and the freedom this has granted or given to women to do what ever they like, or want, is one of the major reasons why there is so much divorcees and single mothers in our supposed well-modernized societies today?

If you think carefully, you will or should know that in the older days in the supposed non-modernized societies, marriages lasted, because women were obedient to their husbands, and husbands, because that obedience respected their wives(figure out said wives, because polygamy was a norm back then), there were less single mothers if there were at all aside widows(that is those whos husbands were dead).

It is commonly said that freedom to do what ever we want comes at a price, if the price for freedom of women to do what ever they want is their marriages, do you honestly think the freedom is worth the price?

Interesting fact that women gamble will be ostracized because they think women are inappropriate to play in the gambling environment, when they see women gambling they will be marked as women who should be avoided by men because gambling behavior for women will be difficult to build a household for good economic management, even though gambling addiction is not different from gender but we trust the management of family funds to the wife and I think we prefer women who have other jobs and she has never been involved in any gambling.

I see that point and with that culture it's another difficult situation for a woman when they being tag as gambler, the understanding that they will budget the money that their husband provided to them, the impression of mismanaging the money because of gambling will add the discrimination to women who are into gambling.

But, with modern class or what we call well-modernize societies, that mindset or cultures is no longer being practice, and women are free to do whatever they want, anything that will grant them their rights to practice.
