I'm also curious why some members think that women are less risk takers than men! Are there any reliable studies which support such claims?
Women may actually take less risk than men. Men can easily control themselves when they lose a gamble, but women don't seem to control themselves easily when they lose a gamble. Gambling is usually played for entertainment, but the goal is to make money. Although many people gamble for fun, most people gamble with the hope of winning money. Gambling definitely requires money. Gambling is very risky, gambling loses money and it is better not to gamble. Most of the women in the world do not gamble, those who gamble should gamble with a cool head. Care must be taken that a woman who gambles for fun does not become addicted to gambling. Where I live no women gamble, take other means of entertainment. It is better for women to stay away from gambling.
Women will consider it first before deciding. Often, they take longer than men. And they also don't dare to take big risks, which makes women always careful in their actions. This is different from men who seem to be in a hurry to decide everything so that men will be at greater risk than women. But not all men are like that because there are men who can also be careful in deciding things. And because it is gambling, perhaps fewer women will gamble than men because of the fear of experiencing big losses in gambling for women.

Well first off, be it men or women, there's isn't supposed to be a gender inequality when it comes to gambling. In some part of the world, women aren't allow to participate in most activities apart from being a wife and taking care of the family. Women who gambles are seen as useless or wife unworthy and no men would ever consider taking them as wife's. Gambling is supposed to be fun similar to playing a game on my mobile phone. If a woman choose to gambling online and she understands the risk involved, when to stop and sets a limit or avoid loss then I see no reason why she shouldn't gamble.
The thing is that,  in my country,  women are seen as home managers and even in governments they are given special positions that don't expose them to the kind of risk that men are exposed to and at the same time also if a woman becomes so involved in gambling there is the possibility that she may get abused by the male forks and that the reason why no man will allow his wife to become a gambler in the first place unlike men who can gamble and they wife will not feel insecure since she knows that he is safe having fun.

And another thing that we should look at is the level of responsibility placed on every individual in the sense that,  men are faced with more responsibility than women and at some point, men will always have to take the most risk compared to women so this also are reasons why there is inequality in some judgement as regards those things.

But as a matter of fact, these influencers are not really gambling, but they are always showing deception using the demo account. But there are others who are more disciplined than male gamblers.
I already know that they don't gamble, that's why most of them are underage children who are sometimes influenced by them, on average influencers who usually stream playing games suddenly promote gambling and their viewers are minors who watch it so they follow it and gamble, that's what it is. What is very regrettable is that influencers currently only think about making money from gambling platform collaborations without thinking about the dangers of their audience gambling.

I see a lot of underage children in my country gambling because influencers, gamers who promote gambling sites, including well-known artists, also promote gambling sites, even though gambling sites are illegal in my country. I always remind them that these influencers are not active gambling players. only play games that have been regulated by the gambling site so that it is not too much of a demo game and looks like you are playing real gambling. it is easy to do to attract the interest of the audience.

When women play gambling, they already know the risks they will face, but women will think twice about going crazy at the gambling table, if women are still within normal limits, but if they are addicted, women will be the same as men and without shame they will say they lost ,
from my point of view with experiences that I see directly from my neighbors

The truth is that women were not as bold as men, they can't take the same level of risk as men do, they like making savings than spending or loosing to gambling, this may also be because they have always rely on men for their financial backups in most cases and also have weak or lower affinity fornany of the gambling related activities unlike men, women were known to have low tolerance for gambling or taking risk.

     -   In these times, most of those who play gambling are men, and only a few are women. The only thing I don't like about the generation we have today is that I see influencers who are women promoting casino apps online on Facebook, deceiving viewers that they exist just to attract players and don't care if life is ruined, while others are unable to control themselves.

But as a matter of fact, these influencers are not really gambling, but they are always showing deception using the demo account. But there are others who are more disciplined than male gamblers.

Of course it feels unfair if women are not allowed to gamble and only men are allowed to carry out gambling activities. Indeed, many people think it is bad if women gamble, but in my opinion, if women want to do it occasionally just for entertainment, of course it is not a problem as long as they don't waste money. The money is in gambling, the aim of gambling is to get pleasure, of course this can be done by women and men because they both want to experience entertainment.

Women who gamble cannot be called good housewives or not good wives. As husbands, they should understand that wives also want entertainment, but as good wives, they do it within reasonable limits and cannot just spend their husband's money, of course they will think smarter as a wife you definitely feel tired in carrying out your activities as a housewife and you don't feel like you have time to play outside so maybe by opening a casino platform they will do it just for entertainment.

In every field in the world men as well as women have grate role. Women can do anything like what ever men can do. However, in some cases, women are kept somewhat socially restricted. In some places they are considered only as house maker. Due to which women cannot do any job. It is natural that women will be left behind, especially if women do not earn money and have to depend on men. But in all places where women are completely free, women are quite active in gambling along with men. If women get the equal opportunity they can do anything like men.

Usually in a family dominance by husband as gambler and never see any wife spent their time with participating in gambling exactly many broken home happening due bad activities or gambling habit from husband and loss all their important thing from money, house, car and all property assets values.

Don't imagine with wife have gambling habit but lets make its on another position if husband have bad habit with gambling what happen with one family will in good relation or not.
First of all, in a normal and healthy relationship no party should be dominating. Both parties should support each other and each of them has its rights and duties. Secondly, gambling is not always a bad thing, it's supposed to be an entertainment activity. If it starts causing harms then it's the gambler's fault for not being able to control himself. This applies to both men and women.

Women who gamble may already know the risk and are ready to face the risk,  but another question about that os that,  are women as risky as men,  because from research,  it shows that women are fewer risk takers compared to men and that can be true since women's position in the society and family os. Not for financial provisions which limit their risk exposure.

So that has affected the general perceptions toward risk at every point of the way and that is why some people have seen and said that women lack the boldness to risks in gambling compared to the male forks.

I would not call it boldness, because risk is not about boldness is about appraisal and assessment. I will explain: Risk is one of the things that humans are worst at predicting and that is specially true for men. I have seen many times how the wise voice comes from the women and the men ignore them to make massive mistakes in risk appraisal. I think this applies to betting perfectly.

Actually, what I am going to say is that currently we cannot assume that women are always afraid to take risks and in fact there are many women who always take risks by independently setting up a business and becoming successful and when they are successful, these women want to indulge themselves in gambling. having fun taking these risks even though she already knows the risks in gambling are very bad, but the woman will not think about it because she has an income that can reduce these losses.
Yes, not all women dare to take risks like men, but at least this is real proof that there are women who are like men when it comes to gambling, they will take any risk as long as they can afford to lose the money.

I agree with you about the wife’s position and gambling. I wouldn’t want my wife to get involved in gambling, no matter how good she is in other areas, no matter how beautiful, how delicious she cooks, kind, faithful and all that. And in principle, I can hardly imagine a man who would want his wife to have the habit of gambling.
In general, I think this problem effects men more than women. I also saw women who love gambling, but mostly they were men

If I'm not mistaken, it seems that there has been a thread that discusses the gender of women and men in gambling, but I think maybe it's not completely the same, there's no need for actual research. Women who like to gamble are usually women who don't want to work and always think fast to get money from machines. slots, as far as I have seen in my country there are almost a few women who really like slot games even in the office where I work.

But it's also true that a woman who likes gambling isn't fit to be a wife because of course even though I'm a gambler I don't want to have a wife who has the same hobbies as me, at least someone can control one of them, for example my wife often reminds me to stop gambling when it's time, so talking about gender issues, almost the average man prefers to gamble than women.  Wink

I wouldn’t want my wife to get involved in gambling, no matter how good she is in other areas, no matter how beautiful, how delicious she cooks, kind, faithful and all that. The differences are only limited to emotions temperament and ways of controlling oneself because if we talk about other aspects I think that women and men have similarities with almost no differences.

If you ask that there are fewer female gamblers compared to male gamblers the answer is clear that women always have the characteristic of having fun in different way than men but some women who have been able to experience the pleasure of gambling then they will never be able to escape or it will always come into casinos to gamble and most women have considered gambling as an activity that may not be profitable and makes them more likely to go to parties or go shopping.

Apart from all that we also cannot really accurately determine the percentage of female gamblers that exist but it seems that female gamblers will also continue to increase considering that this industry has developed very rapidly.

We won't be able to know the exact percentages, but what is clear is that they continue to increase. especially for those women who may not have many friends and prefer to live a closed life. more of them will be on the game or movie. if they find excitement in gambling, it will be difficult to do anything else.

such as online slot games which are currently quite easy to access. Anyone can access it and play anywhere, even in their room with their smartphone. Not only women, minors can also access it.

The problem of gambling addiction for both men and women is the fault of the users themselves, there is no compulsion to gamble. This is based on their own desires, greed which drives them to continue playing, until ultimately destroying their own lives.
There is no different effect on gambling addiction in women or men and when they are addicted they will only have the same thing namely being able to spend and lose more money in each game or betting session.
Moreover in terms of addiction whether it is man or woman it is still one of the impacts of gambling which in this industry whoever they are definitely has the opportunity to become an addict and when they really become gambling addict it is their own fault for not able to control every action.

Some people say that women quit more easily because they can manage finances and also control every decision but all responses like this are nonsense because women actually have higher emotional temperament.

There is a difference between Men and Women, in their thinking and the approach they take towards all the aspects of things around them.

If we talk only about gambling, then why do we see that there are less number of women who gamble as compared to men? Have you ever thought of this? Again this is due to differences in gender and their thought process.

Women are usually not wanted to take unwanted risks, so they may either not gamble at all or even if they gamble, it will be with calculated risks. On the other hand, men's gambling will be like the "Go All In" approach and therefore most of the time men usually lose more in gambling as compared to women.

Women are considered to be more emotionally weak compared to men when it comes to gambling, most of them can’t take the pain of losing, they even go further of blaming the other party that got them involve in it in the first place.
<...>

I don't really agree with that take.  Saying someone's more emotionally resilient just cause of their gender seems pretty messed up to me.  People can react real differently to losing money gambling and  how you respond comes down to all kinds of stuff about who you are, not if you're a guy or girl.

Sure, some folks might freak out more when they lose big.  But thats got nothing to do with being a man or woman specifically.  It depends on the person's own experiences, personality where they grew up, all that jazz.  So yeah, making blanket assumptions that dudes handle losses better is straight up wrong in my book.  Folks are too complicated for easy stereotypes like that.
Normally gambling does not supposed to have gender differentiation because this is one of the ways we can make money for ourselves so we don't have to make it look like it's meant for male alone not female. As the world is advancing in technology, we need to make sure that we do things legally that would put food on our table and I am very sure that in most regions and countries, gambling is not a taboo. We all can gamble that is if we are up to the age of accountability. These ages might be different from regions so we need to check and see if we are legally ought to gamble if we have the interest.

There are things that are naturally associated with men and women. If you see morning TV shows then women like them more then men (at-least in my country). Likewise if you see cryptocurrency investment, then you find it a male dominated sector.
If women are not much interested in gambling then its also an indication that they are more wiser then men, for not losing the money. Because in the end its the gambler who lose money and its the house which is the ultimate winner. Women must be appreciated for staying away from this risky business where you lose most of the time.
Sorry to completely disagree with you my friend, what exactly are you even doing promoting a gambling casino through your signature ad space if you really think that gambling is such a bad idea and something no body should engage in? if people weren't gambling, will there be any online casino around to pay you for just making some random posts on a forum like this?

It is very important that we should all think before making comments, in other not to make comments that completely contradict what we ourselves are promoting to other people.

And for the records, women not gambling, or not having that much interest in gambling does not make them any wiser than the men, both men and women are all wired differently, we have our different preferences, and who choose to gamble and who choose not to gamble have nothing to do with how wise or unwise the gender in question is or the persons are.

This is true but not generally because we have some women that are more risk takers than men. Some women would had loved to gamble but their society and the environment they reside don't permit gambling and this has made many of them become reductant to gambling. If the same treatment was been given to men and women, we might have had similar numbers of women and men gamblers but since there's a discrimination against them, they avoid gambling in public.

In a civilized world where everyone is treated equally, you'll see more women coming out to gambler which just shows women love gambling as much as men love gambling. With popularity of online gambling platforms, women might be leading and gambling more but we can't tell since the data isn't available to the public.

Women are considered to be more emotionally weak compared to men when it comes to gambling, most of them can’t take the pain of losing, they even go further of blaming the other party that got them involve in it in the first place. A recent study found that men are more likely than women to make extreme decisions. Most of them (the women) feel gambling is a man thing with that they don’t engage in it. But recently due to exposure and how much the world has evolve, they are women who gamble and are even expert in it. The society we find ourselves in also have effect in gambling.
The gender gap in gambling behavior is influenced by a variety of social and cultural factors, including differences in gambling preferences, motivations and consequences. One of the factors that contribute to the gender gap in gambling behavior is social norms and expectations. Historically, gambling has been perceived as a male- dominated activity, and women who gamble may face stigma and negative attitudes. The consequences of gambling can differ between men and women. Women who gamble may be more likely to experience negative social and emotional consequences, such as isolation, shame and financial hardship. Men on the other hand, may be likely to experience negative consequences related to aggressive or impulsive behavior, such as substance abuse or criminal activity.
