I think as long as we don't know exactly how things are going internally at Hamburger SV, we can only make assumptions. In any case, there is an important game for Hamburg on Friday. Local derby against St. Pauli. St. Pauli have won their last four games against HSV. It will be the 103rd derby...with 10003 spectators. Who came up with this number?  Cheesy

I really think that St. Pauli Is truly a remarkable team and for Hamburg to face is an exciting match, but still, my guess is Hamburg will make a win here, even though they have a draw game recently I am trusting Hamburg to win this one,

And right now the odds on stake.com was 3.00 for St. Pauli and 2.25 for Hamburger SV, well the odd are really close enough, and I think there are many that trusting Hamburg to really win this, that is why I will go with Hamburg.

Right but Hamburg is indeed a phenomenon. Best conditions, lots of resources and a strong fan base. Great city with champions league flair, and everything you need to promote again, but yet they fail. They have been managed in such a crappy way, wow. How many managers and coaches did they fire over those couple of years? Really bad to see that happen.

Hamburg, the last match was a draw an utterly not but and not good performance in my opinion, but this season is still starting so that may be OK for them to have 1 win and a Draw record for now, but expect they will surely be more aggressive in their next match, I guess they need a consistent manager and coaches that can help them with their training and performance, but right now we can see that Karlsruher is at first, and Jahn Regensburg both have 2 wins, and I could say there are other teams that have worth on watching, but Still Hamburg is a pretty decent team in the 2nd division.

Absolutely. They have always had a good team so far and played well at the beginning most of the last seasons. But at some point they played a bit worse. But they usually became more nervous afterwards. But that was usually not because of the team. It was probably because a lot of pressure was built up in the background. Too much pressure.

The bad phases they had all started with two or three games in a row where they got unlucky and conceded a goal in the 85th minute or even later, then tied or lost the game. That became chronic every single time. They often turned into the team over the last couple of seasons that conceded the most goals or almost the most goals between minute 80 and the end of the game. They just started shaking on the pitch when the final 10 minutes of the game started. They should have got mental training or whatever. I am curious how it will go for them this season. New season, same shit? Wink We will soon know more.

To stand a chance to be promoted, Hamburg SV will have to work very hard to win this season. If not they risk going to relegation. They are already looking good on the table. Their attacking down the wings is strong however they must work on stopping opponents from creating chances. Well who knows they might just win the league.

Always Remember That They Are With Werder Bremen, Hannover 96 and Schalke in the 2.Bundesliga.

Only 2 matches have been carried out, Karlsruher and Regensburg lead the provisional standings with 6 points. But I firmly believe that the winner of the 2.Bundesliga this season comes from the club that was relegated before, could it be Schalke Huh
Its too early to say but in order to do that shalke need improvements true after the big win in the last round it seems that they gained confidence but judging from the performance in the second half they need to improve their defencive strategy too many occasion for the opposition team but i think hamburg and werder bremen might be a contender to get back to the bundesliga.

I remember discussing how Shalke needs to improve if they wish to be promoted again, and it looks like they’re working hard behind the scenes to make it happen. Furthermore you’re right with teams like Werder Bremen and Hannover 96 battling for promotion all the other teams will have to step up, otherwise I feel two slots are already booked.

For me, it is also too early to make a decision. When Hamburger SV was relegated 3 or 4 years ago, most people were convinced that they would be promoted again immediately. And when it didn't work out, many thought that it would work out then the next year...and the next year and so on.
Probably one of the teams mentioned will be promoted. But there will also be many surprises.

Anyone putting bets on FC Schalke 04 being regulated? They are looking to sell Kabak for a tiny fee and I think a lot of other players will go this season. I might put a bet on them getting regulated because losing Kabak who is their best player for free will be a big blow to their other players. It will be interesting to see how they react to being regulated in their first match and who knows maybe they can regain some of their composure and form and get promoted again. I think if they do not manage to bounce bag then their heads will drop further and regulation will be inevitable.

Well nothing has been confirmed yet about Kabak's move. Leicester city in the Premier league is the frontrunner for his signature after Liverpool opted not to sign him after his loan expired. It would be absurd if they move forward to sell him. That loan move to Liverpool shouldn't even have happened because schalke needed his services more (Not tryna be bias despite being a Liverpool fan). That said, they need all hands on deck if they still plan on playing Bundesliga football next season.

Well, nothing has happened at all in regards to the final weeks of the season. It is just of big advantage to them psychologically if this time they manage to prove right from the start that they are strong enough to compete with the best of the second league. Last season they were just very unstable and gave away many games in the last 5 to 10 minutes. That hurts the players mentally and they start carrying that mental burden with them through the whole season.

There will be no matchday in the 2nd Bundesliga this weekend. Instead, the first round of the DFB Cup will take place. But there will also be many interesting games and surprises. I'm curious to see which clubs will be knocked out in the first round.

yes. there are also many very interesting duels. osnabrück against werder bremen is one of these games. quite a few other teams have lost at bremer brücke/bridge.
that won't be an easy game for bremen. and braunschweig against hsv . i'm really curious whether the hambugers will win the game in braunschweig.
i myself could even imagine braunschweig winning. and rosock also has a very big chance of advancing to the next round. but on sunday evening we'll all be wiser.

the bremer bridge in osnabrück was again a big obstacle for bremen. bremen lost in osnabrück with 0:2.
but now the bremen have more power to make the promotion to the first bundesliga again because they have less games in the season.  Wink

Just like in the 1st Division the matchday will also be on August 14 well exciting matchup will surely have to wait and the following lineup for the 2nd Division will be,

Schalke VS Erzgebirge

FC St. Pauli VS Hamburger SV

SV Sandhausen VS Karlsruher

Nurnberg VS Dusseldorf

Holstein Kiel VS Jahn Regensburg

Right now I think the Australian Bundesliga is starting up tomorrow, and that is another event that will be a very exciting match as well, and right now the 1st in the standing is RB Salzburg that has 2 wins,

Pretty interesting game for Hamburg again against Pauli. That's the most intense derby the second league has to offer. If Hamburg manages to win that one after they beat Schalke last game, that would give them quite the head start and a psychological edge. It will definitely be an intense game. Looking forward to it!

This is it Werder and Schalke are doing great Werder VS Dusseldorf has 2 - 3 and sad to say Schalke VS Holstein Kiel with 0 - 3, I think I had a wrong team in the 2nd Division to be regulated in the 1st division, but again Schalke is really a strong team to start with that is why they are regulated to the 1st division, but they really need to push themselves up back again and really give their all in the 2nd division and also Werder had done a great job in giving Dusseldorf a hard time, but still this is just the 2nd game they really need to prove themselves they can get the ticket in returning to the 1st division,
