Like expected from the league where there are a lot of goals. Both matches went into over 2.5 goals pretty easily. Had a parlay for both matches over 1.5 goals it came really easy to win me my bet.Karlsruher expect win at home against Darmstadt as well with 3-0

I don't think the preparation time is an issue. I rather think that playing in the second league works differently than playing in the first league even motivation wise. In the first league you could be competing for international competitions and have seriously motivating goals. In the second league it is all about do or die. If they don't advance to the first league right away, they are wasting the club's time in the second league for another year. Also, if you once played first league it's quite the change to now play against some of those unknown second league clubs. It won't be an easy season for Werder and Schalke.
Actually, it is at time like this that the professionalism of a player who has received a contract from a team will be tested. Team need to win and win so that the second tier competition is only the basis for a quick return to the main competition next season. But if the motivation of the players is lost and they are playing badly just because they can't stay in the main competition, then I think it's time for the coach to give young talents a chance to get more playing time. However, the two team were really bad last season and it's only natural that they should be in the second tier this season.

That might indeed be a good point. I think a young guy who is around 18 - 20 years old will definitely give his best as he has still goals and wants to present himself in the best shape possible in order to make it into the first league. I think it is much harder for someone who played first league for 6 or 7 years, then goes down into the second league and is now supposed to play his very best to return into the first league right away. Could definitely end in a motivational dilemma.

Paderborn VS Nurnberg

I should say this is one heck of a game I surely like to note both teams defense was really awesome both their goalkeepers were really good at what they are doing but the game ends up in a draw eventually with the score of 2 - 2 but it is still a good game.

Karlsruher VS Darmstadt

Well, I could say this is a very one-sided game Karlsruher was pretty much doing great, and Philipp Hofmann was really something the entire game he surely gives 2 goals for Karlsruher and 1 goal for Kyoung Rok Choi to finish the game with a dominating score of, 3 - 0 now Karlsruher will lead the 2nd Bundesliga with 2 wins at their disposal.

I guess this will fill out the first game win and the first game draws and right now there will be 3 more games today and the games will be

SV Sandhausen VS Dusseldorf

Nurnburg VS Erzgebirge

FC St. Pauli VS Holstein Kiel

and right now I am rooting for Holstein Kiel here so let's see if they really could win against their opponent.

You haven't had any luck. St. Pauli won against Kiel. 3 - 0. St. Pauli continued their performance from last season and deserved to win.
Nürnburg drew against Aue. Düsseldorf won against Sandhausen. 2-0

Well, It is just all a wild gist and because It is just their first game, and I am still just thinking who's really the best team that could make it to the 1st Bundesliga, But the league is just starting and it is still too early to say what team may make it that far, so far in the standings we had 6 teams that already won their first match, 6 teams that have a Draw record and 6 teams that have lost their first game, I think in the next or third game we can already sort out who's really is the impressive teams in this division.

This year is tough to guess anyway because there are so many strong teams. Kiel performed very well for several years in a row but always closely missed the next step to the first Bundesliga. Now with their bad start I think that is kind of demoralizing for them. I don't see them among top four or top five this year. Pauli played a very good second half of last season. If they can keep the momentum, who knows, maybe they'll be competing for the 1. Bundesliga.

We can not close how good a team on their first game, we can never know what may happen in their 2nd or 3rd game if we only include their bad start, I used to think that Kiel, might have something on their bad start, But with that bad performance on their first game I surely still don't include them not entering the 1st Bundesliga, this is just the beginning and I think they will do something in their next game, actually all the teams that loses on their first game can surely try their best on the next game, and the teams that might win their first game might lose on their 2nd game, it's a matter of who's really decide to win until the end of the Bundesliga league we can say for sure if they are really determined to win.

@YuginKadoya I second your thoughts because first two to three games won’t provide any valuable insights, hence it’ll be indeed foolish to draw conclusions right away. Lastly in my personal opinion one should wait for at least 5 - 7 games and see how the teams perform at home and away from home, those matches should give you’ll fair idea about how the team may perform going ahead in the season.

Yup! their game might eventually change when faces with different opponents, and right now we can not conclude any further what is the result of their first game, I really think this is the right thing to do and to react, any team can change with their game style in just a short time.

And I am anticipating another good match from Holstein Kiel VS Schalke on Sunday, Aug 1 and right now I am seeing Dynamo's potential in their next game against Hamburger SV.

werder bremen is said to be in negotiations with dinamo zagreb and their player Lirim Kastrati

Quote
Werder Bremen are in negotiations for Lirim Kastrati from Dinamo Zagreb 🟢⚪

They are offering a loan plus obligation to buy, but an agreement is not close. Dinamo ask for much more.

"Tough" negotiations, talks ongoing

Well this is the strongest second Bundesliga we probably have seen in the whole history. One thing is certain already: a couple of good teams won't advance to the first league this season. Werder Bremen will have a hard time. If they don't score decently the first games they will become extremely nervous.

Werder Bremen 1-1 Hannover. Could have been a lot more goals in this match especially in the second half. First half wasnt special at all with no goals and bad football but in second half we could have seen 3-4 goals too bad it ended only 1-1. Hannover was much better in this match and show that they can attack the title
Yes excelent second half especially from hannover side they really recovered after the own goal in the begining of the second half and they seemed to play really well they had the game under controll and i think thats because most of the team played together last years compared to werder bremen who had new players coming this season still it was a good game by both teams its important to not lose the first game especially an away one.

Yes, it is wonderful that it is starting again. Finally, the Bundesliga. And the first 45 minutes were quite something. Goal after 7 minutes for Schalke. A missed penalty for Hamburg. Now it is a 15-minute break.

A great game indeed, Simon Terodde was the 1st to make a goal for Schalke and they seem OK with that first attempt unknowing that HamBurger made a comeback with Robert Glatzel then the Hamburg team just let the rain come down back to back Heyer and Jatta for the 3 goals of Hamburg, it seems that they sure don't waste any time.

Yes, I also liked the game very much. And this time Hamburg had the luck of the last minutes on their side. In the last few years, they often got one or two goals in the last minutes before the end of the game and gave away a lot of points.

They sure scored a lot this time, well actually Hamburg did something incredible I really think that a lot is really rooting for Schalke to return back to 1st Bundesliga but they need to first win this 2nd Bundesliga to make it back again, but in no luck to their first game,

And update to the other games, in this 2nd Bundesliga

Hansa VS Karlsruher 1 - 3

Darmstadt VS Jahn Regensburg 0 - 2

Heidenheim VS Paderborn 0 - 0

Dynamo VS Ingolstadt 3 - 0

Werder VS Hannover 96 1 - 1

I guess this will fill out the first game win and the first game draws and right now there will be 3 more games today and the games will be

Looking at the statistics I think Schalke rely on counter-attacking games, implementing this strategy will certainly be a blunder if it doesn't match the squad they have and the coach should consider this. If in the next few matches Schalke still doesn't give good results, it looks like Schalke will stay in the 2nd Bundesliga for much longer.

what you're saying is absolutely true, judging by the number of shots and shots on goal they (Schalke) did.

According to Full-Time data, Schalke made 15 shots and 9 shots on goal. While his opponent (Hamburger SV) made 14 shots and 6 shots on goal. Unfortunately shot on goals is not everything Cheesy

I’ll agree with you’ll guys the stats don’t lie, and if Schalke is serious about promotion then they need to make tactical changes soon. However if the coach is adamant and doesn’t change his methods soon then I fear they’ll be left far behind, and it’ll be then difficult to catch up with the other teams sitting at the top.
