happening right now, I was shocked seeing St. Pauli having 1 score to Jahn Regensburg, and Regensburg is having a hard time right now after posting this the Score has changed to 2 - 0, St. Pauli, well maybe Regensburg's kryptonite was St. Pauli after all, and right now both goals were Guido Burgstaller's score and the defense of St. Pauli was also superb that Regensburg is having a hard time catching up, but let's just wait there is still a lot of time for Regensburg to retaliate.

Right now I am pretty much impressed with the performance of Jahn Regensburg now getting 4 wins 0 draws and 0 losses, Dynamo 2nd with 3 wins 1 draw 0 losses, Paderborn with 2 wins 2 draws, and 1 loss, Karlsruher with 2 wins 2 draws and 0 loss and FC St. Pauli with 2 wins 1 draw and 1 loss, this is the 5 teams that are in the top 15 and right now each team the Regensburg fought are having a hard time facing Jahn Regensburg and on the Aug. 29 Sun there are going to be 2 very interesting matches that I should not miss and it is the matches between Dynamo VS Paderborn and FC St. Pauli VS Jahn Regensburg we can see a really heated battle If Dynamo can overcome Paderborn, or if Jahn Regensburg may remain undefeated.

You're not the only one. I only expected St. Pauli to be in the upper part of the table. They made a great final spurt last season and have brought that spirit with them into the new season.
I'm curious whether Regensburg will still be in 1st place after this weekend.

Yes I agree I am pretty curious about what team would win in this match, but for me I really want Regensburg to attain their undefeated status, I really don't want to tarnish their good reputation but St. Pauli should not be underestimated, regarding even with great defense and a great offensive team Regensburg is they really need to double that with St. Pauli,

And another great match will be Dynamo and Paderborn in my opinion, so will definitely look out for these matchups, and the odds for this 2 match on stake.com is pretty much close actually.

Paderborn - 2.80
Dynamo - 2.50

FC St. Pauli - 2.43
Jahn Regensburg - 2.90

If Regensburg manages to win this away game against Pauli I would already say that they are one of the favorites for rank 1 - 3 for this season. They play in a very convincing manner, rarely close games and score a lot. I actually haven't seen them in such a strong and consistent shape before. Even if they start losing a game here and there, the second league isn't known for being dominated by two or three teams who win with 80 points and more in the end. 15 points after 5 games, that sounds good. I would guess you'll need around 62 - 65 in order to compete for rank 1 - 3.

No there is in fact a German story also about a team that advanced to the first division and then dominated the league right from the start and took the title home. It was 1. Fc Kaiserslautern and they had a damn fast offender called Andreas Buck. It was fun because the coach was Otto Rehagel, who today is called Rehakles and why? Guess what, he is the coach who won the European Championship with Greece in the early 2000s. Cheesy Quite the superhero, isn't he?

Oh, I remember. That was the season 1997/1998. The first game of the season in the 1st Bundesliga was between Bayern Munich (German champions of the season 1996/1997!) and Kaiserslautern. Kaiserslautern won 1:0.
Kaiserslautern had been relegated in 1996. Although they were relegated, they won the DFB Cup. This gave them so much self-confidence that they spent only one year in the 2nd Bundesliga and were promoted with Otto Rehhagel.

WOW! you sure know a lot of history in the Bundesliga, I am kind of new in the German Bundesliga scene, I just started betting and appreciating the game last year, and still trying to research vast history about it, I surely don't know about any FC Kaiserslautern and I never really know that Bayern Munich was once their rival, and I guess they are in the 3. Liga now.

And the teams that I surely love to watch was Bayern Munich, Leipzig, and now Dortmund, in the 2nd division, however, I first think that Holstein Kiel will have a good start but I guess they are still processing a lot with the teams right now, I am just so surprised with the improvement of Jahn Regensberg back on the 2020 - 2021 season their standing was in the 14 spots with 9 wins 11 draws and 14 loses, they surely strengthen their defense a lot.

What's going on here? They (Schalke) played like trash, even though Jahn Ragensburg played well in the previous 3 matches in the 2.Bundesliga, it doesn't mean it will be very easy against Schalke today, but what happened on the contrary, Jahn Ragensburg played like Brentford, is it possible they will play in Bundesliga Next Season and Also Win Like Leicester City Did?

Do you think Schalke will be relegated to the third tier? out of the 4 matches that have passed, they can only win once Cheesy
In a football match, it is always possible for the favorite team to suffer a crushing defeat against a weak opponent and today Schalke have proved this statement. Although it will be very difficult for fans to accept, the result will not change again. The defeat hurt many parties at Schalke, maybe they should reflect on what went wrong why they couldn't bounce back after being relegated at the end of last season.

Something like this may surely happen I think that Jahn Regensburg is a change team now, and back when the league is not starting I thought that Holstein Kiel have a bigger chance, and the result is 4 - 1 things like this happen, I know Schalke is a formidable foe back then, but when it comes to the 1st division they are nothing compare to the like to Bayern, Dortmund, and Leipzig but Jahn Regensburg feels like a refreshed team that can dominate the entire team on the 2nd division but they only face 4 teams just yet but the scorecard tells it all Regensburg have dominated all team they came across, if not with zero goal, now Schalke only had 1 goal, I think that is the consistency Regensburg is giving but I should still calm down and wait for further verification.

Trust me, nothing is impossible but it will be toughest endeavor for that team. Bayern Munchen, Dortmund, Leipzig and other well-known teams will definitely be tough opponents for them. I don't think it will happen next season although there is a possibility of that team being promoted to the premier league (bundesliga).

I agree if Regensburg would regulate to the 1st division, maybe they will be having a hard time with the top 3 teams on that division but in the 2nd division, they are dominating 4 teams in a row right now,

Jahn Regensburg Score:

Darmstadt 0 - 2
Sandhausen 0 - 3
Holstein Kiel 0 - 3
Schalke 1 - 4

Consistent in winning and dominating all matches.

jahn regensburg is definitely the club in the 2. bundesliga that is considered to be the big surprise Shocked
none of the experts expected that after 4 matchdays jahn regensburg would be in 1st place in the table without losing any points - at least they got the first goal against today Wink

No doubt about that, but losing the way Schalke lost is just not acceptable for a team with that much money and all the possibilities they have as a club exactly because of their history. To be fair though one could say that the same counts for Hamburg. Four years of second league? With the most beautiful city, strong fan base and investors over and over again? That is just mismanagement and the same is happening in Schalke. Sometimes I haven't even heard the name ever before because they didn't play soccer themselves. Not talking about the coaches, but about management.

^^ When I saw Schalke's result I remember sometime here saying that I am sure it is going to be damn difficult for them. And that is going to happen. I simply don't see them recover quickly, all the players who are still there probably feel like this is a Déjà-vu. Not fun for anyone anymore. The old boss Tönnies offered them money, 20 million I believe to put it into the team, but the management was too proud to take the money. Here is the result.

@YuginKadoya it’s good to see Hannover 96 finally secure a win, and that should indeed boost their morale for their next fixture. Also do you’ll believe it’s a good idea to wager on them cause they’re favourites to win against Darmstadt or it’s a risky wager given their overall form.

Hannover 96 is sure more motivated now but my take is, does their determination is stronger than Darmstadt? because Darmstadt aswell has one win, this makes both teams even, if we look from that perspective it is really hard to say who's part will win, and in my opinion, it is a risky move to bet for both of them, I feel that there is less risk in putting a bet on a draw, but if a team like Jahn Regensburg would be Hannover 96 or Darmstadt opponent I pretty sure will bet for Regensburg because they have proven their worth on their plays, and judging from the score on their previous matches

Darmstadt 0 - 2
Sandhausen 0 - 3
Holstein Kiel 0 - 3

From this consistency, you will surely know where you would put your bet, and Hannover 96 and Darmstadt don't have that yet, So it is surely a risky wager.

Neither Düsseldorf nor Hannover 96 were saved today due to a Late Goal from either Team Player, Düsseldorf were saved by their midfielder (Kristoffer Peterson), while Hannover 96 were saved by their main striker (Hendrik Weydandt). This is Their First Win (Hannover 96) in 2.Bundesliga This Season.

In the next game I think they (Hannover 96) are a bit relieved, because they will play with Darmstadt Grin

Whoa! I really thought that Holstein Kiel can make a difference but Dusseldorf really pull off a hat trick on them and make the game into a draw, I haven't watched the game yet and just waiting for some game highlights, but apparently, Holstein Kiel is not like the last year Holstein Kiel, and Hannover 96 officially have 1 win, and their next much might be in their favor again, they would surely need that much of a win right now so they will never be left behind.

Today's Matches with their odds on stake.com

Paderborn - 2.49 VS St. Pauli - 2.70

Jahn Regensburg - 2.85 VS Schalke - 2.46

Karlsruher - 2.12 VS Werder Bremen - 3.40

Dusseldorf VS Holstein Kiel

Right now the match between Dusseldorf and Holstein Kiel is live as this post drop, and in my opinion, Holstein is doing great they now have 2 goals with Alexander Bieler and Steven Skrzybski's Goals, While Dusseldorf have only 1 goal of Khaled Narey, Shot Accuracy right now of Kiel is 4 while Dusseldorf has only 2 if this continues Holstein Kiel will now have 1 win,

Hannover 96 VS Heindenheim

And right now Hannover and Heidenheim is going at each other with 0 - 0 on their scores and might end up in a draw right now Hannover doesn't have any wins yet, while Heidenheim has 1.
