The whole table is so damn close. I would say e en Düsseldorf on rank 11 has a realistic chance to finish in the top ranks after the first half of the season. This is definitely an extremely close table for literally all of them. I really hope for one of the non-favorites to be promoted to the first Bundesliga. I think it is time for Regensburg to make it this year! Wink

when simon teredde doesn't score the goal schalke 04 always loses . today schalke 04 lost 1:0 in heidenheim. i didn't expect that.
and in the second game darmstadt 98 won against the club from nürnberg with 2: 0.
for hsv and st.pauli these are two good results   Grin

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
This time Pauli had difficulties. In the Bundesliga games they were more convincing. Pauli led twice, but an own goal made extra time possible. They scored the third goal in extra time and won narrowly in the end with 3-2.
Further in the DFB Cup are: Hannover, Rostock and Karlsruhe. Karlsruhe won against Leverkusen.

Several teams have now made it through to the last 16 of the DFB cup, and several big teams that were previously favorites to be able to get the DFB champion have now been eliminated and in the DFB cup only Dortmund and Freiburg are 2 teams that are in the top 4 of the standings bundesliga today, although the match in the DFB cup is very difficult to predict, but I believe that dortmund will again be able to win the DFB trophy this season.

The DFB-Pokal seems to have a lot of surprises, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the 5-0 score of Monchengladbach vs Bayern. Though almost all the stats were in favor of Bayern. Dortmund should win the DFB-Pokal in my opinion too as their forward Haaland is in form and the 2nd highest scorer of the tournament. Currently, he has 3 goals. And I'm sure he's gonna get more.

After St. Pauli won 4 - 0 against their rivals Hansa Rostock at the weekend, they play against their other rivals Dynamo Dresden in the DFB Cup today.

Yesterday, Nürnberg and Hamburger SV played against each other in the DFB Cup. The match had to be decided in a penalty shootout. Hamburger SV is in the next round.

Schalke lost their game against 1860 München as well as Kiel against Hoffenheim.
St Pauli victory makes them now quite safe at the top of the standings with 25 points, Regensburg and Schalke continue to provide a tight competition so far under St Pauli, it looks like this season will be a historic season for them, if they are able to play consistently this season of course will allow them to return to promotion to the Bundesliga after a long wait.

@poldanmig so far they’re playing really well, but in tomorrow’s fixture their player’s maybe exhausted because of continuous playing this week, hence let’s pray that they don’t drop points.

I also believe that they had one eye on the weekend match, and that’s why it took them till the very end to score the winner, but in the end only winning matters so it’s fine even if they won it late.

Bayern Munich defeated Hoffenheim 4-0 in the matches played in the Bundesliga. They played well throughout the match. They continue to lead. In second place is Borussia Dortmund. Defeated Arminia Bielefeld 3-1 away in Borussia Dortmund. In another match, Mainz beat Augsburg 4-1. Again, it was a Bundesliga week with plenty of goals.

st. pauli and regensburg win their home games and remain in 1st and 2nd place. schalke 04 is now third. nürnberg, with the best defense in the 2nd league, has already climbed to 4th place.
ingolstadt and aue are still on the relegation places and sandhausen could get an important point against the relegation by a 2-2 vs werder bremen

I don't follow the second bundesliga that closely but i keep an eye on it as i want to know of course how the big old clubs that "should" be in the first bundesliga are faring this season and so far i would say that both Schalke and Hamburg (HSV) are doing quite well. I would say that Schalke is doing even better then expected so far as they are completely new to the second bundesliga and we have a lot of example of big Bundesliga clubs that were relegated into the second league and had huge problems to be successful in the second division as it is just a pretty tough league with a lot of strong teams. That is also happening again with Werder Bremen so far in this season it seems.

today at 1:30 PM there is again a really super interesting duel in the 2.bundesliga. FC.St. Pauli against hansa rostock .
if the club from hamburg wins today they have 3 points ahead of schalke 04 and 7 points ahead of HSV .
unfortunately, it came in the past games always to clashes of the fans. I hope it remains today a little more peaceful as in previous years.
my tip for today: a tight 3:0 for st.pauli  Grin Grin

German football is indeed famous for its hot team rivalry, not only in the Bundesliga, but also several Bundesliga 2 clubs also have high rivalry between teams, of the many teams that are in the second tier of German football, St Pauli is a club with an idealistic supporter base with an ideology the extreme left is the team that has the most rivalry with other teams and this has happened since the second world war, so don't be surprised if we see clashes between fans before the match starts and after the game ends Grin.

Not a bad guess my friend, but anyway! Wink

I don't know if you guys are aware of the severe rivalry between these teams and all the problems that occurred right before the game. Police was involved and so on. That 4 - 0 is a damn pain in the ass guys for Rostock! Cheesy That will hurt for a while! Wink

That was not badly appreciated from soonandwaite.

St. Pauli really impressively proved why they are in first place.
The rivalry between the two clubs is due to the political attitude of the fans. That is why the police are always involved at these games. Unfortunately, this is also the case with Dynamo Dresden.

Schalke's stats so far haven't been very good at home, whether that's something odd or not. Today Schalke will play at home against Dynamo Dresden which I think, although Schalke's home record is not so good but seeing the opponents they face this time I'm sure Schalke will win and maybe also with clean sheets. Looking at his performance so far, it looks like Schalke will return to the main Bundesliga next season. Also, I'm sure Schalke will be able to be more consistent going forward even though the defense is still not perfect, but they can still cover it with the advantage of the number of goals they can get in each game.
I think the same as you, it seems very easy for Schalke to beat Dynamo Dresden today despite the fact that Dynamo Dresden has a pretty good record this season in the 2. Bundesliga.

Schalke have 3 injured players, Salif Sane, Danny Latza and Michael Langer. But they are not key players for Schalke so it will not be a problem for Schalke.

BTW, What's Your Prediction For This Match?

Schalke won the last game at home 3-0,so thing for them are picking up,they are currently third in the bundesliga 2 and if they win they can share the first place as well. Dynamo Dresden is also a team that scores a lot and gets goals,so this match can go eitherway but im going with Schalke in this match to win.

The first matches of the 11th matchday will take place on Friday. Paderborn against Hamburg SV and Aue against Ingolstadt. For Paderborn and Hamburg it is important not to miss the connection to the top.
Aue and Ingolstadt have a classic 6 points game. Important to make points against the relegation.

Again and again I really can't believe that Hamburg can't manage to play a really solid season. This has been the case for years now and given their financial and geographical possibilities, it is a shame how often things go wrong there. They clearly are managed badly, there is no other explanation. It is hard to believe that they will play a role ever in international football over at least the next ten years. It is a bit similar to Hertha BSC. Those clubs believe they purchase a couple of good players and here we go, but it doesn't work like that obviously.

Right now there are 4 injured players for Hamburger SV and 1 suspension and even though Robert Glatzel, Moritz Heyer, and Sonny Kittel is on the team and can play the 4 injured players are mostly for their defensive plays, Stephan Ambrosius, have a Cruciate Ligament Rupture and may return on Nov 1, Tom Mickel, have an Acromioclavicular Separation and his return is unknown, Joshua Vagnoman have torn tendon and his return is unknown, and Maximilian Rohr have Muscle Injury and can return to the team is unknown, While Tim Leibold is currently in suspension, so the favors are not with the Hamburger SV when they really needed the most.

Well, when it comes to their injuries this season you are obviously right of course. But still this season is not an exception, it is the continuation of a story that repeats again and again, even if for different reasons. Nobody can claim that they are so unlucky year after year. No, they just play really bad in very decisive moments. Look at the game against the Kickers the past season. Kickers on last rank, very important three points at risk, and Hamburg loses the game. That's just crazy.

@mv1986 indeed a good team can’t hide behind injuries and it’s all about the mentality, and sadly they haven’t displayed it this season yet. However the season isn’t over, and it’s not too late for them to turn it around so let’s hope that they’ll finally step up their game and start winning matches regularly.

Followed your advice with a close one! Wink

You know, I also believe that when they manage to be promoted to the first Bundesliga, I really don't see them as being sufficiently competitive no matter what they do. That club lacks structure and vision if you ask me. Anyway, it is going to be a close race by the end of the season I think, but that is mostly the case for the second Bundesliga. Next year I would like to see a newcomer in the Bundesliga like Regensburg. Not that I particularly  like them, but it is always fun to watch a brand new team trying to fight the Goliaths.
