It is slowly becoming clear who will play at the top and who will play at the bottom of the 2nd Bundesliga. It will be a very exciting season. It seems that St.Pauli, Regensburg and Paderborn will play for promotion to the first division.  Aue and Ingolstadt are currently at the bottom. But a lot can still change there.

I agree with you somewhat. However, it will be too early to predict which teams will get promotions in the first division. Pauli, Regensburg and Paderborn are playing quite well now. Looking at the gameplay so far, it seems that they are a worthy team to go to the first division. But Schalke 04 is a good enough team. They will do their best to make it to the first division again.

@laurenB7742 you’re absolutely correct it’s too early because player’s form changes post the holiday season, and injuries also can play it’s role so unless the teams take a huge lead it’s yet open in my opinion. Furthermore Schalke 04 are blowing hot and cold in their performances, and if they wish to secure promotion then they’ll have to vastly improve on their performances.

Of course, injuries can have many effects and the winter break can also have an impact. What just struck me is that I meant in my post that Pauli, Regensburg and Paderborn will probably be one of the teams that will play in the Relagation. Someone can read that differently in the post. Therefore here for clarification.

First of all, no team here is a very strong team. All teams have weaknesses. The team that can maintain a stable performance will be able to advance to the first division. Considering the performance of the last 5 matches, Pauli and Schalke are now at the forefront. They have managed to score 12 points in the last 5 matches. The Nurnburg team is the most stable team this season. They have not lost in any of the 9 matches. 3 wins and 6 draws.

SSV Jahn Regensburg and Paderborn have scored the most goals so far this season. Both teams have scored 20 goals each. However, FC Nurnburg's performance in the 2nd Bundesliga seems to be the most stable. The team has not lost a match yet. At the same time Nurnburg conceded the least goals. They have conceded only 7 goals in 9 matches. I will not say that they are playing very well. However, their performance is stable. Looking at their gameplay, I think they only play for the purpose of draw.

after the international break, these two clubs will play the top match on matchday 10. paderborn will then welcome the visitors from regensburg at home.
also the games heidenheim vs. st. pauli, hamburg vs. düsseldorf, dresden vs. nürnberg and darmstadt vs. bremen will also be very exciting and will set the trend for some clubs.

Simon Terodde has now set the record of DS with his goal for the 3-0 final score against fc ingolstadt. now it will be the question how far ST can extend this record

Congratulations to Simon. This record will stand for many years to come. I think he will get a record between 170 and 180 goals this year. After that, it will be interesting to see if he will play another year in the second division. Then he will be able to reach the 200-goal mark.

What if Schalke could be promoted to the 1st division again, and become champion this season, Schalke still have a chance to advance if they can maintain the pace, and Simon Terodde was a recent member of Hamburg SV last 2020 But have agreed to be relegated into Schalke on May 02, 2021, and this 11th goal of this season have marked him a record scorer of the 2nd Bundesliga with 153 goals together with Dieter Schatzschneider,

He surely needs to keep up the pace in getting those goals and Schalke's next match will be against Hannover 96 on Oct. 16, it can be an easy target for Schalke's 6th win and I know there are a lot of Schalke fans out there who are wants Schalke back again in the 1st Division.

Yes, if Schalke get promoted, they will surely take SImon Terodde along or he will find another club. Maybe he will play the next years in the 1st league and then his last years still in the 2nd league. There he will have enough opportunities to get to the 200 goals.

Between 1978 and 1987 Dieter Schatzschneider played for Hannover 96 and Cologne in the second Bundesliga. He scored a total of 153 goals at that time. This record still stands today.

Simon Terodde currently has 152 goals in the second Bundesliga. Will he set a new record in the game against Ingolstadt?

i think so. Simon Terodde is a complete 2nd bundesliga striker and he will score 1-2 goals against fc ingolstadt.
for the 1. bundesliga he is too weak but in the 2. liga he is a real goal scorer and has already shot some clubs in the 1. bundesliga

@bct_ail it’s quiet possible that he may score that goal and break the past record, but each game is different so let’s wait and watch for that epic moment.

He can extend it for at least this season! Wink If Schalke advances to the Bundesliga 1, he is probably not going to go to a club that is playing in the second league just to extend the record! Tongue

But it is definitely a strong record and not that easy to break because successful players from second league usually get bought out by clubs from first league.

Nurnberg VS Hannover 96

The match has ended up in a draw which is a bummer for both teams because both teams really need a win that badly and right now both teams has 3 wins and I think it is not a great day for Nurnberg and their striker Nikola Dovedan have acquired a yellow card then A red card that I think could let Nurnberg win this, but the match ends up in a draw.

St. Pauli VS Dynamo

St. Pauli did a great job and this win has to lead them in the standings, it might be too early but maybe St. Pauli has a chance in being champion in the 2nd division, and the first goal was with Christopher Buchtmann, within the halftime Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer and Guram Giorbelidze acquired a Yellow card, while St. Pauli's Guido Burgstaller acquired a penalty goal, it was a great match for Pauli, while Dynamo's player is acquiring lots of Yellow cards because Luca Zander a defender has got another, while St. Pauli has bested Dynamo and Marcel Beifus have got the last goal on the match, It is total domination for St. Pauli.

Today there is an interesting game between shalke and inglostadt who are strugling with three consecutive losses and today its a chance for shalke team to get the three points since they lost twice already and they need to stop losing points especially if they want to get back to the bundesliga and its a good odd of 1.5 for them to win.

the friday games are over now and werder bremen could finally celebrate a clear 3-0 win against fc heidenheim.
in the second game of the evening the last team in the table erzgebirge aue could lead 1-0 until the 94+ min. until with the last action an own goal gave hamburger sv a 1-1 draw after all

Pretty much a dead first half and then suddenly in the second half 3 fast goals by Werder Bremen plus once cancelled out for Heidenheim due to VAR and a small offside. Was expecting a lot more goals on Hamburger as well at least 3-4 goals not just 2 goals

Hamburg is always up and down in regards to their number of goals. Sometimes they have two games where they score 3 - 4 goals, and then they are also good for a 0 - 0 the next two games. They are way too inconsistent if they seriously intend to make it back to the first Bundesliga.

When they got relegated a few years ago i was thinking they would be back next season in the first bundesliga but they are still stuck in the bundesliga two. They just cant get on a winning streak and this season probobly the most hardest bundesliga two in history and it will be really hard for them.

Yes and now on top of the 2nd Bundesliga being really hard anyway comes on top all the pressure they have because they failed all those years. It's difficult for them to get through struggles successfully because they recall all their own failures from last years. It's going to be interesting to see where Hamburg is standing in a couple of months from now.

That is how every team thinks at the beginning. We will  only spend one year here and then we will be back on top. And that is what most fans think, too. But unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Hamburg can spend many more years in the second league. They have to be careful.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
15 Minutes Remaining In Jahn Ragensburg Vs Karlsruher Match, Current Score Is 2 - 2, I Placed Bet For Over 4.5 Goal. What do you guys think? Will There Be 5 Goals In This Match?

Judging from the potential for victory, it looks like the victory will be on Karlsruher side, but I don't know, all I hope for is 1 more goal from the two of them.
