Bundesliga is always like this in stoppage times of every season, very unpredictable. I'm not surprised at Bayern Munich's result in their Freiburg clash but I was at least expecting more than two goals from the match seeing that the two are scoring teams, but Tuchel boys managed to escape with a narrow win. Most surprising is the disappointment from Mainz who stood so low to accept a double equalizer goal from Werder Bremen just under 10 minutes.
I think predicting the outcome of every match has become more difficult than before, because almost all teams are improving and changing their mentality, especially in the top leagues, so there's no easy to defeat teams despite some few exceptions. Obviously, the biggest beneficiaries are the gambling platforms that earn from every unexpected outcome. That is why they are increasing and competing like never before.
Freiburg isn't an easy opponent in my opinion, as they haven't received more than one goal in their last 8 matches. However, Bayern achieved what they needed, which was the full points, as well as additional confidence before the match against Manchester City. Similarly, Dortmund gained the full points in their important match and kept on tracking Bayern.
