A very difficult game to predict, two exceptional coaches, with wonderful squads, world class strikers. I think the statistics and the antecedents of both teams is what makes this fixture so unique and a must watch for football lovers all over the world. Bayern Munich seem to have the advantage since they would be playing host but despite the home advantage I think the Munich side have got a more formidable squad than the Leverkusen side based on what we have seen so far this season, nevertheless the Leverkusen side aren't doing bad either but if I were to choose between either of these teams then my pick would be Bayern Munich, I think they are the favourites to win this game.

I think Leverkusen and the possibility of a draw are very high. Bayern Munich are like the back team of the match, but Leverkusen should not be underestimated. They can give Bayern Munich a hard time. Even if they cannot win, I think the possibility of the match ending in a draw is high. Because Bayern Munich may prefer defensive football. At first, they will play a controlled game against Leverkusen, but after a while, when they start attacking, they may give up positions behind. If such a situation occurs, Leverkusen's effective forwards can punish Bayern Munich.

Firstly Leverkusen are not in their best form this season. Last season in the Bundesliga we only saw the dominance of Leverkusen's players. But this season the scenario is different. The Leverkusen team was defeated in the match against Leipzig. So it will be very difficult for Leverkusen to get points against Bayern Munich.

I can’t go for any side because both teams are good and they all have same opportunity to win this game. Bayern Munich have started well this season and that was why the bookies have given them a better odd than the one given to Bayern Leverkusen. The season is still in its early stages though, I won’t take any result from this match as a determinant for who gets to win the title. They both have a lot of matches to play with other big teams which will also determine their performances in those matches to determine who gets to win the league title. It’s still a long ride from here, and I hope they each gets to give their best in every of those matches.

I just find the odds given to Bayern Munich and Leverkusen win as ridiculous.    1.72 to 4.20, seriously? Why would they underestimate the last champion this much? I mean of course Bayern Munich are going to be favoured at home. There is no problem with that. The only issue is this big gap. I think it would attract people to bet on Leverkusen not to lose or even their win as well. Because I believe every kind of result is quite possible.

Like I said before I still see Bayern Munich one step ahead. Why? Because they are really way better now. Kompany knows what he is doing. However for betting purposes, I see goal bets safer than anything else. 

No doubt Bayer Leverkusen is not performing the way they performed last season because they never recorded a defeat in the league games but they are not in poor form either because they have be scoring some crazy goals and getting late winning just like we saw last season, Bayern Munich may be the bigger opponent in this game because they are on top of the league and they are yet to record a defeat but we shouldn't forget the way Xabi Alonso defeated them last season.

There is a possibility of the match producing multiple goals as both teams have good strikers who are hungry goal scorers but I do not know if Vincent Kompany would be able to defeat Xabi Alonso since they are meeting for the first time since he took over the job as the Bayern Munich coach. Placing my bet would definitely be on goals because both teams are expected to score each other.

Considering the fact that Bayern Munich are host and Bayern Leverkusen aren't in their best form as we saw them last season, though they're occupying the second position in their league, it actually going to be a tough game to take side, but from my general view of this game, Bayern Munich is likely to win this game ,but one thing seem interesting to me ,the odd @4.40 for Bayern Leverkusen to win, the risk is worth taking as anything is still very possible in this match regardless of who is hosting who.

I think Dortmund will take this opportunity to catch up or the right moment when playing against a bottom team, Dortmund can be relied on in all lines especially as a home team. Regarding the total goals I agree that both teams will score because Bochum is recorded as one of the teams that actively scores goals so my estimate is at least 3 goals in this match. By the way I am interested in placing a bet on Both Teams to Score Yes the odds are 1.66 not bad.

I can't imagine if Dortmund only draw in this match, it will certainly have an impact on their confidence and as we know Dortmund will play in the Champions League next week so they don't want to lose anything and play in decent condition. If Dortmund can secure the first half with 2 goals then in the second half several main players will be replaced.

I know Bayern Munich now is different from last season, they seem to be better this season under Kompany as well as many goals scored in some other matches, the same thing with Leverkusen they still have the same tactics, sometimes there is a wonder that Leverkusen can always score at the end of the game and this often happens several times.

I am sure that Bayern is definitely the clear favourites, but I also agree that it will be a close game and anything could happen. Betting on these games is always hard, you never know what's going to happen and because of that you just end up with some trouble and not know what you are doing. I believe that people are doing something that is not taking that much time, but as long as we have something like this game, I think it's better to avoid this game all together.

You will see, it will become one of the most wagered games, because people like betting on big games, since they all watch it as well, so it makes it more fun to watch when you have money riding on the game but I do not think that it is that important and I feel like it shouldn't really matter that much.

Yes, I totally agree with you, assuming that Leverkusen will Maintain the same Pace of play that they are going through, I don't see much progress or how they threaten yet , or I know what Xabi's strategy is in the meantime but even so I think that things are not something to be complacent about , I think that right now Bayern need to make the most of all their potential so that they can fix things and be in very good shape to secure the Bundesliga , they can't let themselves be surprised , I think that these Coaches take every Football match seriously, very seriously and I see it in the front line, because they are very precise, accurate and that is what is needed , for me Kompany's management is impeccable.

Borussia Dortmund is not a team that when they record a loss in their game you can just say they’re poor and cannot do better when they play with other teams, most especially when playing against weaker teams. They lost their match the last time and that does not mean they cannot pull a good performance now again. Bochum is a lesser team to them both on performance and quality, so they will do everything to win this match because they stand at a more better chance and use that to get back in the league race after the awful defeat.


This two teams are just the two best teams as far as this season is concerned. There head to head meeting will be tough and now that it is coming at the beginning of the season, we should expect some kind of interesting games between the two of them. Bayern Leverkusen still remain the defending champions and will want to repeat the same thing this season after a good season start. Bayern Munich will be looking to make their best in this match to prove to Bayern Leverkusen that they’re up to their match this season to take their trophy back. If you look at their form since the start of the season it has been really bad as you make it seem they have only lost a single match since the beginning of the new season, draw 1 and won 2 which is not perfect but not so bad. They even won their champions league match so it is not so bad yet although i know their performance is not like that of last season they need to improve if they want to secure a top 4 this season or even challenge for the league.

Losing against Stuttgart will wake them up to improve their performance and boost their spirit to win Bochum, they will be playing at home so they have all the advantage to secure maximum points.

This is going to be a typical litmus test for kompany and probably xabi this season as the last encounter xabi had with this team was when they were been managed by their former coach but now they are under the management of a new coach who has been making waves since this season thou with some small teams but then he's been doing so well and would want to try his strategy with Leverkusen which may be a challenge for Leverkusen but hopefully the best team wins or they both end up sharing a point equally.
In this game it feels like almost nobody has  got a favorite as i have not seen most persons picking any of the team over the other as a favorite side to win, maybe we all are just keeping our fingers crossed for the best team and also to wanting to judge the team strength from this games.

I think that Bochum will suffer a complete transfer of aggression from what Stuttgart did to Borussia Dortmund last weekend. Dortmund received a disgraceful 5:1 defeat last weekend from Stuttgart in a match people were expecting them to win to keep their title chase alive. Such incidence is enough to infuriate them tonight as the face a weaker Bochum that have not been doing so greatly this season. So this will be an easy win for Dortmund if they do not reserve their players for their champions league match next week.
