Currently it will be safe to think that Leverkusen still have their confidence quite intact but I doubt if there's going to be an outright win because both team aren't weak and they are both competing for something that feels like a finals, a one time game so both are definitely going to put in their best to secure a trophy already so it feels like they have got a trophy at the beginning of the season already which can be considered that they are starting off the season on a good note. Nevertheless the higher probability seems to be around Leverkusen much more than it would be with Stuttgart.
I think this is good point. Bayer Leverkusen seems confident but it won't be easy win. Both teams are strong and want to win badly. It is like final game where only one team can win. Leverkusen has good chance but Stuttgart is not weak. Both teams will try their best making it very exciting game. It is great start to the season with both teams showing they really want to win. Leverkusen is good but Stuttgart wants it just as much so it is hard to predict what will happen. So let's wait and see who will perform well. Smiley
This is opening match before Bundesliga begin and this match is very interesting to watched because people are curious who will gets their first trophy this season and because Leverkusen still recognized as the strongest team in Bundesliga then they are the favourite and Stuttgart as underdog status and here is the current odds for Stuttgart and Leverkusen below

Leverkusen @1.84
Stuttgart @3.90

I would like to see Guirassy performance in this match because he will be fight against his former team Stuttgart however if i am not mistaken Leverkusen and Stuttgart never won the trophy from this event before and for Leverkusen we all know they got double winner last season and it could be fantastic if they can win this match and collect 3rd trophy under Xabi Alonso

The clash between Leverkusen and Stuttgart at the weekend will show how good the teams are and whether they have lost performance. All eyes in Germany will be on them and Kompany in particular will find it very interesting to see their direct rivals. I'm also curious to see whether the two teams that were surprisingly good last year can maintain their performance from last year.

Yes I also see it so it seems like this will be a tough match for both teams, why not Leverkusen who are currently undergoing their preseason several times can not accept victory and better still with Stuttgart they almost finished very well in their preseason match, in my opinion Leverkusen has declined a little or even can be said their performance has decreased drastically that's why the beautiful season last season has now become a bad start for them, but preseason is not a reference that we can use to predict that but it seems Xabi must immediately make a reshuffle or evaluation of his team so that he can be better and improve his performance as soon as possible. But I think Stuttgard will give a tough fight in this Super Cup Final how could they not be more dominant at this time even though the opportunities given to them are greater but it all has the possibility that they will win this match or at least give a stunning fight in the match, if Xabi does not upgrade them as a team as a whole then they will regress again and it seems that will happen in the coming season, I still doubt it but I am sure Xabi can overcome it but not with this match this match will make him rack his brain because currently Stuttgard looks more shaken compared to Leverkusen.

Yes he has for sure some awesome stats for the last season and years for his age of 21.
I guess he wanted to make the next step to grow and also wanted to play on a higher Level by moving to Dortmund even there are a lot of other good players.
I don't remember exactly when and what age Haaland went to Man City. But Haaland at Man City received tremendous support so he was able to perform well. Man City's players have good control that helps Haaland perform well. Meanwhile, Beier at Dortmund is indeed a good step and it is an improvement. I don't know for sure if Dortmund is doing business or if they are indeed aiming for the championship next season. But indeed Dortmund is always good at bringing in young players then they are made better and sell more expensive.
Haaland was 21-22 when he got there, so considering he is 24 years old and it was two full seasons with City now, we can say he was 22. The difference is that Beier is already 21, so he can't be going to City level team in a single season.

But we can see at around 24, after three full seasons with Dortmund, if he is awesome and playing very well, he could be bought by some richer and strong team without a doubt. That is what Dortmund is aiming too, they are aiming to sell him for 100+ million in 2-3 seasons at best, which is not something they haven't done before, this team keeps finding talented players all around the world, pay 10-30 levels and then sell them for a lot more. Not sure if they will ever do like "let's get all 11 great young players" type of rebuilding ever, but looks like they are actually quite good so it will not be all that complicated if they ever try to do it. In any case they do not force their way, they wait until an opportunity comes.

Even Dortmund lost Füllkrug to Westham and he is an awesome player for the long term i think they have done all right with Beier.
It was not only the injury of Guirassy that they tried to get Beier as they already haved him on the list for some time.
But now its for sure the best way to have another good young and talented striker that can play when the season starts.
Maximilian Beier is still 21 years old and he can play in some positions (CF, LWF, RWF). Sure, this player is good for a long term. I even assume he can be the next star players in Dortmund. However, I think he will play as a substituted player only if Guirassy and Haller are available to play. But it is no problem because he is still very young, he will have more time to play toward his development progress in Dortmund. The coach will give him more time to play if he can show great progress.

Dortmund to me are very smart for bringing in Guirassy from Stuttgart, I don’t know how they were able to deal that big move from Stuttgart to Dortmund because he’s their main striker there. This has now increased the strength of Dortmund in the forward position and will make them even bid more for the league title.
No doubt it is a great signing, I am very surprised that Dortmund signed him with very cheap price. Dortmund only spend 18 million Euros although his market value is around 40 million Euros. Moreover, he is one of the top scorers in Bundesliga last season, his price must increase in the market. But Dortmund scouts always did great negotiation, they know well how to buy a player with cheap price. Sure, Guirassy will be the main striker in Dortmund lineup now. Dortmund has a new machine goal for the next season, he surely will improve the attacking line of Dortmund.

This has now increased the strength of Dortmund in the forward position and will make them even bid more for the league title. My takes are Bayern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen, Dortmund and Stuttgart to finish in the top four positions in the bundesliga.

Guirassy signing wasn’t that too hard for Dortmund because the player in question wanted to leave Stuttgart and with his contract expiring next summer and his refusal to sign a New deal Stuttgart were just ready to offload him to any club that came there way, he is a brilliant signing that will add a different dimension to the Dortmund attack but he missed a chunk of last season through injury and with him being Injured again I will lower my expectations on him a little bit.
As for Stuttgart I don’t fancy them doing anything like a top 4 because I see clubs like Leipzig trying to get to champions league again, and also the likes of Freiburg will also be a threat too, moreover Stuttgart didn’t add many signings even after departures

Quote
Regardless of the position Dortmund finished from, they’ve made it to the champions league again this season and this is all thanks to their brilliant performance that saw them through to the finals of the competition last season. Dortmund can be a league contender along other top teams in the Bundesliga and this without doubt they can give a tough trial to other teams in the title chase

Aside signing Guirassy Dortmund were smart to add Beier to their squad he also a threat but still I don’t rate Dortmund at all most especially as genuine tittle contenders. They have had a better attack than this and still couldn’t win anything. they are just not there yet and their change of coach to Nuru Sahin is still an obstacle as he needs more time to adapt
Signing of players doesn't mean improving the club performance for example now let use Chelsea as an example, Chelsea are signing more player this season more than any club but am not still sure of them making the top four of the season when it ends, because you signing player when you already have good players, so it doesn't matter because if your performance is poor I don't think you signing more player will help improve the clubs performance, so Dortmund buying more players won't still make much impact in the clubs performance is better they use the one they have really good because they are more capable of making more impact than the one they are buying, in my opinion.

Apart from Bayer Leverkusen who are still very likely to be on the race to the title next season, but I also very much looking forward to Dortmund seems to be better with Guirassy in the Dortmund attack next season. Because after all, Guirassy also performed very impressively last season and managed to make Stuttgart finish in second place, and Guirassy became the top scorer for Stuttgart last season.

Thus, I personally believe the competition for the Bundesliga trophy next season will be very competitive, because besides Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, of course there are still other teams including Dortmund. Because after all, Dortmund also had difficulties last season to be able to finish in the Champion League zone. But with the great efforts made by Dortmund,  then in the end Dortmund still managed to get a Champion League ticket for next season it will still be great for them.
The competition at the top will of course be decorated by Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Leverkusen and maybe there will be a surprise from a promoted team. Looking at the process that occurred in the transfer market, there is certainly an opportunity for Nuri Sahin's team to show their toughness after they showed changes in the transfer saga. It may be difficult to predict, but with the level of change that occurred in the standings last season, of course there is an opportunity for other teams to show strong resistance to the favorite teams.

Their success in bringing in Maximilian Beier, of course, the gap left by Fullkrug was successfully closed because Dortmund again got new talent to polish into goal-hungry attackers.

So for Harry Kane this season is his second season with Bayern Munich, and will he be able to win the Bundesliga trophy because last season they had to admit that Leverkusen was quite a tough opponent.

Before playing in the Bundesliga, these two teams will first compete for the DFL Supercup trophy which will be presented this weekend. Who do you think will win? Of course most will choose Leverkusen, especially since they have not wavered at all. We can also see that Stuttgart this season will not be strengthened by Guirassy so they do not have a dangerous goal machine like last season.

Leverkusen is certainly still confident in being able to win their first title this season after becoming Bundesliga champions with an unbeaten record and this title will be Xabi Alonso's third collection if he can win it for Leverkusen. But overall this will probably still be a difficult match to predict and I think Stuttgart knows that they have to stop Leverkusen as a warning if they can still be counted on for next season.
From this opinion I will focus more on the discussion of Dortmund which for me has no problem with the new coach.
Some of us may be a little doubtful of Nuri Sahin who is not very experienced but that cannot be a reason for us to doubt the coach.
We can see how Xabi successfully gave the title to Leverkusen and this could happen to Dortmund who will appear even stronger.

There is no doubt that we still believe in Bayern Munich and Leverkusen who currently still have quality players but we also have to be careful because Dortmund can be a club that is very difficult to beat because the arrival of a striker from Stuttgart gives Dortmund greater strength.
Dortmund success in recruiting Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart can indeed increase their chances of competing for trophies, as can Dortmund three other recruits, Maximilian Beier, Waldemar Anton and Pascal Grob. Expectations for Dortmund for next season are actually not too high, but there is a possibility that Nuri Sahin squad can be involved in the racing path, not just Leverkusen and Bayern Munchen. That is the hope of neutral Bundesliga fans, they want to see the Bundesliga become more competitive, the fight for trophies involves more than two teams and becomes more fierce.

Personally, I predict Dortmund will be able to compete at the top of the standings, as they have done in the last decade with Bayern Munchen. The loss of Marco Reus and Mats Hummels may be felt temporarily, but Nuri Sahin certainly has a solution to overcome the departure of the two club legends. On the other hand, Nuri Sahin is lucky because he will not need too much time to adapt, because he is Edin Terzic assistant in the last season, of course he understands the club situation well. In contrast to Kompany, who had to work harder to reduce the time it took to adapt to the new team and atmosphere.

Bayer Leverkusen Winning is another thing that have raised a lot of talking and people want to see a lot of surprises because now people are wondering that if Bayer Leverkusen do not win this time then who is going to win in the Germany league, dortmund will still want Guirassy to play for them is one of the best attacks that dortmund have, and any player you have is just for to know how to manage them properly they will do well that is what players for you, also encouragement matter a lot so that they will want to also do well so that you will appreciate them.

I don't even see any serious competition in next season's game because if it's about Bayern and dortmund they are already weak Bayern is even better than that dortmund in term of performance but we don't know for the next season. When dortmund made it to the champions league final but everyone already know that they will not win. If you want to underestimate any club I don't think it should be Real Madrid. And people will always remember the year they made it to the finale.

The loss of FullKrug who moved to Westham some time ago forced Dortmund to move quickly to find a replacement, especially now that Guirassy is still injured so with the new season will starting in a few days, Dortmund immediately brought in Maximilian Beier as their mainstay center forward next season,

The competition in the Bundesliga used to be between Bayer Munich and Dortmund, but last season a tougher opponent joined the two teams. Leverkusen performed brilliantly last season and secured the title by going undefeated and they have shown that they will compete this hard next season and take the title away from the big teams including Bayern Munich. Bayan Munich's team was strong last season but they couldn't keep up with this team only because Bayan Munich dropped some points early on while Leverkusen didn't drop any points. Bayan Munich have been alerted by Leverkusen's performance last season so they will play very seriously from the first match and try to get full points.

The addition of a new opponent means better performance for each team in the coming seasons. Next season we will see tough competition in the Bundesliga.
This is the modern era of football and everything have already changed. Things no longer use to be what they are, the rapid changes keep surprising everyone. The Bundesliga have mainly changed and we're now focused on Bayer Leverkusen that won the league title with unbeaten record. Bayern Munich and Borrusia have to step up their responsibility to track down their weaknesses and put an end to shocking defeats, they have to become stable in their form for the purpose to win major titles.

I have almost the same view as you but Bayern Munich does not deserve to be eliminated from the competition because they also have the capacity even though the chances are small because the team is handled by Kompany. Alonso and Nuri Sahin will definitely apply the philosophy that is there to dominate the Bundesliga, while Alonso is on top because he has been able to prove his capacity last season. It's just that the challenges this season will be different and it seems difficult for Alonso to be able to maintain his record like last season.
I even thought that Alonso and Nuri Sahin would try to put their team at the top of the standings by not allowing Bayern Munich to occupy the first position in the Bundesliga this season. Because Kompany who will have great pressure and responsibility to bring Bayern Munich back to win the trophy this season will definitely be quite overwhelmed because now the competition in the Bundesliga has started to be different and is quite fierce. However, I also think that Kompany will try everything to be able to compete with the two big teams in the coming season.
Kompany is the best move for Bayern. Though Bayern has the greatest pockets and most skill, he still has a mountain to climb. They remain the team to surpass

Dortmund, Leverkusen? Definitely contenders. Leverkusen's preseason was irregular, though, while Dortmund is mostly depending on Nudi Sahin. He has intelligence, but experience with big-game hunting? That runs as a question mark

This year will be a chess match. Kompany's has to outsmart the rivals. Bayern's rear is under control if he can. If not? Well, it might look nasty. The pressure's on, man

Kompany best move for Bayern Munich? Do you really think so? I can't agree with you, I think a renowned and big team like Bayern Munich needs an experienced coach. As Bayern Munich aim to do well in the Champions League, they need an experienced coach. If you want to do well in the Champions League, there is no alternative without an experienced coach.

Kompany may be talented. But he could not prove his ability yet. We haven't seen a good performance from Burnley last season. That's why I'm not expecting much from Kompany. Moreover, it will be more difficult to dominate the Bundesliga next season. Because teams like Leverkusen and Stuttgart have strengthened their squads. They will undoubtedly fight for the title. So if KOmpany can't strengthen Bayern Munich's squad, if the bonding between the players is not strong then Bayern Munich team can't dominate the Bundesliga.

If we measure the depth of the team, Bayern Munich is much more competitive than the two teams mentioned in this thread. if Kompany has pressure, so does Nuri Sahin at Borussia Dortmund. on the Leverkusen side, in the pre-season match they played the results were not so good. in fact, Alonso mostly played his core players. although this is a friendly match, but considering that they played the core team, and their performance in the previous season, of course it makes Leverkusen supporters a little worried. this is interesting, the three teams we are discussing here have the potential to overtake each other after the Bundesliga is held. however, of the three teams we discuss in this thread. I still doubt Nuri Sahin's performance with Dortmund, in fact, Nuri Sahin is a coach who has no experience in higher level League competitions. well, for me this season the Bundesliga is a little more unique. Bayern and Dortmund are architected by young coaches who are not yet rich in experience, Leverkusen will work hard to defend the League title they won last season, Leipzig is quite ready to compete considering the situation of their rivals in the Bundesliga.

From this opinion I will focus more on the discussion of Dortmund which for me has no problem with the new coach.

Sometimes there can be surprising teams like Bayer Leverkusen in the leagues. The important thing is to continue this success. It is usually very difficult for them to do this and I think Bayer Leverkusen will not be able to repeat the success of last season. Football is a game where you can learn from your mistakes. Bayern Munich and Dortmund will not allow something like this to happen again.

Bayer Leverkusen has achieved something great and deserves applause. In order to continue this success, you need economic strength and Bayer Leverkusen's economic strength is not as good as Bayern Munich and Dortmund. Maybe I am wrong and Bayer Leverkusen will be successful like last season but it is very difficult to repeat this success.

I don't get it we have already seen them get a striker already with Guirassy, and now they got Beier?
I mean both Maximilian Beier and Sehrou Guirassy are strikers as far as I know, doesn't feel like they are that much of a different situation, not really feeling anything different at all.

So, when we see something like this, it doesn't feel like we are talking about something that's that different, it feels like we are considering something that's difficult to handle. So, when they spend this much money on two strikers, I feel like that could be an issue instead of a good thing, when you get these players, you need to play them both, and having two strikers at the same time doesn't feel like that's something that makes sense.
snip
I suspect that Guirassy and Beier will share roles, I mean Nuri Sahin will maximize these two players and play them according to the team's needs when competing. However, the problem is that Dortmund still has Haller and Moukoko. It is very likely that these two strikers want to leave because their chances to play are getting smaller.

Dortmund is ready to let them go. I see that Dortmund has a problem of having too many strikers in the squad. So some of them are going to feel uneasy and want to leave. Of course, because they are in danger of not getting good enough playing time. So it makes sense for the career of those players to leave. Now I hope that it does not cause too much problems because this situation can be problematic when the players who are not feeling settled, cannot leave. There is a chance that they are bringing in all these strikers so that they can have good power in the attacking line and also have good depth in the squad. And that is going to be very useful if players actually get injured. But if all the players are healthy they are going to have a problem giving all of them good enough playing time. It’s better to let a player go instead of having him in the squad unsettled.
