Over the years that's what Dortmund always do and are excellent on it. So many players improved in Dortmund then moved to other top clubs for millions, making Dortmund richer and giving them funds to search for other players to start again.
Selling Haaland was quite interesting last year and people thought that Dortmund was doomed but they played very well and were able to almost get the first rank but they failed at the end.
Because they never stop, after selling a player they know who to replace him and how to make him a star, that top clubs want to buy. Dortmund is the kind of team where the players are always in the spotlight because everyone knows that this team knows how to find great players. The players also know this and try to show their best, because each of them has a chance to go to a big team and get a great contract.
yes, you are right. Dortmund always educates players to be stronger and have great performances.
therefore it is not surprising that the players sold from Dortmund always give good performance in other teams like Haaland. and on the one hand, of course, Dortmund will not be careless in selling the best players, but they have also planned which new players to buy to be able to bring Dortmund to be strong again.
so that in terms of this transfer, Dortmund has always planned what to do to welcome the new season later.

Thus, if there are Dortmund players who choose to be loyal to Dortmund for the long term and reject offers from other big clubs then that is the wrong choice. Sorry, an example like Marco Reus. Because after all, in the end it is difficult for these players to be able to win titles and or trophies, because Dortmund is not a team that focuses on winning titles. But yes, even though Dortmund only focus on producing great players and profits in sales but yes, when Dortmund has the chance to win the title then of course Dortmund will also try hard and the example is like this season for example.

Dortmund is purely a business club and it's not surprising when they can develop young talents, so if there is an offer from a European team who wants to make up for it at a fantastic fee, Dortmund will let the player go. But indeed the competition between Dortmund and Bayern Munich is endless even though Dortmund always loses its talented players every season and I think it will continue to happen if Dortmund still uses its mindset to always sell the players needed by the team to win the Bundesliga title or other competitions.
Dortmund is like a temporary place for young players to develop their talents, then after that, they will leave. Selling several of its star players at fantastic prices. The management said this was a compulsion that was issued in order to save the team's finances. In my opinion, this is good and there is nothing wrong because they will get a lot of benefits from this decision, but on the other hand, this habit will make it difficult for them to compete with other teams, especially with Bayern Munich. Because this will cause them to experience fluctuating performance every season. I hope one day Dortmund can change their transfer policy, and keep the talented players they have because after all this is in the interests of the team.

Bayern Munich doesn't seem to have any special players, but from what I can see their squad is evenly distributed and also they rely on team play rather than individual play, so it makes them seem like they don't have any special players.
Borussia Dortmund always sells star players, many players have left for other teams just because they want to get big profits. Erling Haaland is one of the young players they have managed to create and now he is making it big at Manchester City.

I disagree that Bayern Munich does not have special players. They have De Ligt, Alphonso Davies, Kimmich, Sane and Musiala for example. All of them have a market value of at least 60 Million €. So if those are not special or world class players, then i don't know. Maybe it is true that Bayern Munich does not have that single player stand is standing above everyone else like Dortmund had it in the last few years with Haaland and Bellingham, but that is not because Bayern Munich does not have great player it is because Bayern has many great players. Looking at the current squad of Dortmund without Bellingham i don't see a single Dortmund player that would make it into the starting 11 of Bayern.

I agree with you. Dortmund's main goal is to do business. They scout young talented players. And they develop players with experience. And sells players for a lot of money. And this is their main goal. The team is not aiming to win the Champions League or Bundesliga title. The club made a lot of money selling Haaland last season. They will likely trade Haller next season. This season Dortmund will probably add more talented young players to their squad.

The Dortmund team will be stronger next season. Because this season the Dortmund team has performed exceptionally well and the team has unfortunately lost at the end. Hopefully there will be no such disappointing performances in the next season.

We don't know what Edin Terzic's plan and Borussia Dortmund's management actually are by selling some of their best players, it could just be that the sale is because they want to replace them by buying even better players so they can bring Dortmund to win.
If we compare Dortmund with Bayern Munich this season, it seems that Dortmund have not been able to compete Bayern Munich.
But everything can turn around in an instant because in a football match we can't really predict exactly.

Dortmund made a big mistake by letting such a player go. If they add some players like Arling Haaland to the team then the team will make a big impact in the Bundesliga next season. Because there are no special players in the Bayern Munich team.
Maybe you are the only one who thinks there are no special players in the Bayern Munich team, because maybe you don't really know the players in the Bayern Munich team. It's true that many of the players who used to come from Dortmund were good when they were in other teams so the price was also quite expensive because Dortmund did sell players with potential and didn't often sell players whose potential was still lacking. I also don't really understand the pace that Dortmund has taken in terms of selling and retaining their players.

The fact that they are just doing good in making money through those buying - developing - then selling it at super high prices .,, having those domestic league success will always become second priority as they have set the priority at the first place , no wonder if by then dortmund will only get a trophy once in 10 years , sad fact but profitable.

Pure business? Idk , winning bundesliga earn you €80m ... but dortmund earned more than that without winning anything.
Indeed Dortmund is synonymous with selling star players which they do in every transfer market, even this season they have done it again by selling Bellingham to another club. One of the factors that made them like this is a financial problem because they get a lot of profit from the work they do which sells players at quite high prices to other teams. I don't think Dortmund will be able to give many surprises in every season in the Bundesliga because they are not too strong to compete with Bayern Munich.
Even if Borussia Dortmund has a history of offloading outstanding players in recent transfer markets it would be misleading to define them purely by that characteristic. Dortmund has continually shown that it is capable of discovering hidden gems that grow into future stars and nurturing and developing them. Dortmund emphasis on youth development and their dedication to attractive offensive football have earned them a loyal following and a competitive presence in the Bundesliga even though financial factors play a part in their transfer strategy. Dortmund has proven that they are capable of challenging and surprising even the toughest opponents making each season a fascinating and unpredictable event. Bayern Munich may currently rule German football but Dortmund has demonstrated that they are capable of doing so.

Why use he word offloading they are one of the best clubs around the world that generate the finest players
They have just seen a player joining bayern munich once more
They had a chance to win the league but they still lost it. Jude Bellingham will be missed but they will get another player that does better whenever they sell a player
To be honest, I feel bad for the Dortmund team so far. The team has put in a remarkable performance in the last moments  of the Bundesliga. But the team drew in the last match. A win in the last match would have secured Dortmund the title on points. Hopefully this team will bounce back in the next season.

No, they sell those players because they have to sell those players. Their goal isn't to sell a player and then buy an even better one for even more money than they received because if they could, they wouldn't sell in the first place. Dortmund can't afford to say no when a club offers 100+ million for a player.

The second part of your post is a bit weird because what is the point? Dortmund became 2nd, is that what leads you to saying that they weren't able to compete? Isn't it always that way when I compare the 1st to the 2nd that I could conclude that the 2nd couldn't compete with the 1st? I am not sure whether you had a look at the final standings of the Bundesliga, but Dortmund was equal in points with Bayern (both 71) and Bayern won the title because of a better goal difference. I think Dortmund was able to compete.

Great picture, I want the same for Arsenal. These are two clubs that use a cynical (towards their fans) business strategy, but it works. I'm not sure if this is the optimal strategy, after all, Bayern has almost all financial indicators twice as much + a bunch of titles, but apparently Dortmund is not chasing risky money, but prefers reliable ones.

What about the Champions League? There are much more earnings and it is obvious that Bayern earns there more than Dortmund on transfers. Plus, the presence of titles gives a boost to all your earnings, from advertising to ticket sales, etc. The only problem is that titles are not guaranteed if you invest in a team.

Dortmund more priority with their business than how to stop Bayern Munich dominance in Bundesliga, almost every season Dortmund sell their star player and bad ideas when not extend left defender Raphaël Guerreiro and has confirmed reach agreement for joining with Bayern Munich. For next season, Dortmund have confirmed leave by two players from Jude Belinggham sell to Real Madrid and the last name Raphaël Guerreiro join Bayern Munich as free agent.

Dortmund have change with their habit keep extend their star player after giving more contribution, actually this season has chance for winning Bundesliga but loss points on last match made Bayern winning Bundesliga since last ten years.

Don't worry. It's dortmund's business. This team will be always doing it forever. Winning a trophy was just bonus but generating more and more money from selling developed players are very smart.

Even if they don't have supremacy in the bundesliga, they make simple earnings every season, which is why their predicted budget for a year takes longer to execute. They have no financial difficulties, they don't take out too much, and they also don't give in too much. Dortmund's economic model has evolved over time, with the goal of acquiring promising young players and profiting from them when other great clubs come calling. They're quite good at turning down offers from elite clubs, making three times the money they used in the market; this picture alone justifies everything.

This was the former pattern of Arsenal of old. I don't know how Dortmund have now adopted to that pattern and they are doing very well.
What I did not understand is how they get exact replacement of what they have already stood and if not better replacement of the player every season. Some times they will even get more than one star players in the same season and they will even sell both of them and still perform good and will still have another replacement next season.
Just after Haaland left, we thought it was over, from no where they have developed Jude Bellingham. I envy their strategy of making money.

That's what I thought too. they did become a successful team with a project to find potential young talent, but that was not enough for them to achieve something big in this Bundeliga, at least. now if we count from the beginning, how much they sell young star players, even they are ready to sell their best players to their rivals in the Bundesliga. It's a shame what they always do.
