The fact that they are just doing good in making money through those buying - developing - then selling it at super high prices .,, having those domestic league success will always become second priority as they have set the priority at the first place , no wonder if by then dortmund will only get a trophy once in 10 years , sad fact but profitable.

Pure business? Idk , winning bundesliga earn you €80m ... but dortmund earned more than that without winning anything.
Indeed Dortmund is synonymous with selling star players which they do in every transfer market, even this season they have done it again by selling Bellingham to another club. One of the factors that made them like this is a financial problem because they get a lot of profit from the work they do which sells players at quite high prices to other teams. I don't think Dortmund will be able to give many surprises in every season in the Bundesliga because they are not too strong to compete with Bayern Munich.
Even if Borussia Dortmund has a history of offloading outstanding players in recent transfer markets it would be misleading to define them purely by that characteristic. Dortmund has continually shown that it is capable of discovering hidden gems that grow into future stars and nurturing and developing them. Dortmund emphasis on youth development and their dedication to attractive offensive football have earned them a loyal following and a competitive presence in the Bundesliga even though financial factors play a part in their transfer strategy. Dortmund has proven that they are capable of challenging and surprising even the toughest opponents making each season a fascinating and unpredictable event. Bayern Munich may currently rule German football but Dortmund has demonstrated that they are capable of doing so.

This is dortmund's strategy.

It seems like that dortmund has a reason why it was doing the strategy to buy cheap and sell high. In my opinion if dortmund is not as rich as bayern. it can become a sense reason why dortmund was doing it. Dortmund has so many reasons to explain it.

I do believe if the management has a reason why dortmund was doing such strategy and that's pretty much the same like what already done in the past. Arsenal has not owned by rich owner.
That's why the club was doing such strategy to make sure its financial is always stable.

This is a good overview and Dortmund is making good money of these sales and use it to invest in higher salaries in order to be able to keep future players at the club for longer. Or to raise salaries for high profile players that are thinking about leaving the club. But Dortmund is still not in a position to make a 100 million transfer themselves and buy a player who is readily world class level. That sometimes hurts them because every time they have built a squad that is strong and reliable, it is almost guaranteed that at least two key players get bought out or leave the club at the end of the season.

If Bayern Munich fail to secure the Bundesliga title this season, the team will be financially affected to some extent. However, after being eliminated from the Champions League, Bayern Munich performed very poorly in the subsequent Bundesliga matches. Fortunately, Bayern Munich managed to secure the Bundesliga title. Otherwise, Dortmund would have been able to secure a great service.

Borussia Dortmund has released one of its best players this season, Jude Bellingham. Yes once again we see them letting go of their prized players, and that is what we are used to seeing. I don't have a problem with this because Brussia Dortmund also benefit, but I regret it when they keep selling their valuable players continuously. The reason is that we know that it is currently difficult for them to break Bayern Munich's dominance, and when they got the big opportunity to break Bayern Munich's dominance, they failed to do so in the end.

Next season there is no guarantee that the same thing will happen as this season, because Bayern Munich will definitely evaluate how to navigate the coming season.

I don't think it makes much sense to send a young football player like Bellingham off the team. He is currently signed to Real Madrid and will perhaps play for them for many years to come. I think Dortmund cannot make very logical decisions on such matters.
I don't know if they'll ever get an opportunity as big as this year's. Bayern made a lot of mistakes this year, but they may not be like that next year. They've been dominating the league for so many years and for the first time in a long time we thought they were going to lose the championship this year Smiley
The problem may be in this case can not be separated from several conditions.
The season before they insisted on keeping Haaland and indeed until the end of the contract there was no change and that actually cost them sales, they didn't want that anymore for Jude. The offer is big and the contract is running out but it's a shame something like this has to happen again and again and it's possible things like that won't change for Dortmund.
Now they still have to tie up one more young player who has good potential and progress. Moukoko is an interesting player for them now and my hope is that they keep this young player.

Don't worry. It's dortmund's business. This team will be always doing it forever. Winning a trophy was just bonus but generating more and more money from selling developed players are very smart.

Even if they don't have supremacy in the bundesliga, they make simple earnings every season, which is why their predicted budget for a year takes longer to execute. They have no financial difficulties, they don't take out too much, and they also don't give in too much. Dortmund's economic model has evolved over time, with the goal of acquiring promising young players and profiting from them when other great clubs come calling. They're quite good at turning down offers from elite clubs, making three times the money they used in the market; this picture alone justifies everything.

Dortmund made a big mistake by letting such a player go. If they add some players like Arling Haaland to the team then the team will make a big impact in the Bundesliga next season. Because there are no special players in the Bayern Munich team.

Great picture, I want the same for Arsenal. These are two clubs that use a cynical (towards their fans) business strategy, but it works. I'm not sure if this is the optimal strategy, after all, Bayern has almost all financial indicators twice as much + a bunch of titles, but apparently Dortmund is not chasing risky money, but prefers reliable ones.

This is Borussia Dortmund's business style, this club can be said to rely on buying and selling players and so on every season. we can even review, almost every season they produce talented young players. Over the years, Dortmund has always been known as a pretty ideal club. they are able to excel and play attractive football as well as earn income from selling players without disturbing the solidity of the locker room.

Uniquely, the player's departure did not interfere with the team's material, in fact, Dotmund still finished in the top 4 of the Bundesliga regardless of his coach. currently, only Bellingham they released to Madrid. we don't know if other players will follow in Bellingham's footsteps. or, Dortmund will still hold it for the next season. at least, there is still Adeyemi, Youssoufa Maukoko, who has the potential to leave or be retained. in essence, Dormund had gained a huge advantage just letting Bellingham go. plus, their target is still achieved to finish in the top 4 of the Bundesliga. so, don't expect big if Dormund wins the Bundesliga trophy.

basically, if the Bundesliga wants to be like other leagues they have to change the 50+1 rule.
Over the years, we've seen Borussia Dortmund sell their most prized players to not just non German clubs but also to their major rival Bayern Munich and that's been their biggest problem and has also stopped them from winning the German league or doing well I Europe.
I think it's something that's very acceptable to the club's management as it been fetching them real gains. I think Bayern Munich are more taking advantage of the policy because it does make Borussia Dortmund less of a serious contender when compared to them

In fact it was not bringing out the best players, but rather cashing in on the best players by selling them to other teams so that Dortmund's achievements could only come close to those of Bayern Munich. But it will not pass Bayern Munich as long as Dortmund still prefer to release their best players to other teams who then go back to print other players to be better. However, I prefer that next season Dortmund can compete better in order to win a trophy in the Bundesliga, because for the UCL trophy it seems that it is still a bit difficult for Dortmund to achieve.
Either Dortmund is playing better or Bayern is playing worse this season. So that their strength and their achievements are not much different. Even the decisive victory is in the last match. And Dortmund should have had such a big chance to become the title holder this season, but something went wrong and had to let Bayern win the trophy again. Dortmund really need excellent players, more than usual to continue to compete with Bayern and maybe excel. They certainly really want to end Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga, but if their efforts are lacking, even in the selection of players, this will be difficult to do.

Neuer is coming back next season hopefully, and then there are some rumors about some players, it is looking like they may get Kolo Muani if PSG doesn't get him, obviously that's a tough discussion, they are on the hunt for Osimhen as well but they are not willing to spend that top dollar, Declan Rice is definitely a big name after the cup but he would be expensive too.

So basically they are trying to get players that are great and we all know they need them, but they do not want to overpay for those players neither so it is a bit of a question mark on how it will happen. Lets see how it will happen after a while but that doesn't mean that it will be a simple one, I am expecting it to be a bit different for this case but I think it will happen eventually.

I don't think Union Berlin played very well in the Europa League. That is, they didn't achieve any great results. Although, of course, this Bundesliga season they were lucky to stay in the Champions League zone. But I think that in the next Champions League season they will not have the opportunity to compete with other strong clubs. Maybe they will try their luck in the Europa League again.
Union Berlin success finish on top fourth standings position and make them qualify to Champion League for next season, but looking on their experienced in Europe League last season I don't sure with Union Berlin has capacity for talking more. Stuck on 16th round at Europe League after eliminating by Union Saint-Gilloise with aggregate 6-3 seems Union Berlin still not ready for playing in European competition. No doubt with Union Berlin has consistent performance in domestic league this season but can't make Union Berlin keep compete in Champion League next season actually if get difficult group stage teams when drawing.

Why judge Union Berlin in the Champions League because the fact is, teams that dominate the Bundesliga like Bayern Munich and also Dortmund don't always have good results when they play in the Champions League. That way, we certainly can't expect much from Union Berlin in the Champions League next season.

Also, in the Bundesliga there are only two teams that always have a big chance and strong competition in the title race and they are Bayern Munich and Dortmund. So, the two more places for positions 3 and 4 are free to be filled by any team and because at the end of this season Union Berlin managed to be in the top four, then of course Union Berlin is better than the other teams whose positions are below it.

Union Berlin has played very well in the Bundesliga. But their performance was not regular. Union Berlin's team is not very strong. Although Union Berlin has qualified for the Champions League, I don't think this team has the ability to perform well in the Champions League. Union Berlin will definitely need to add experienced players to their squad if they want to do well in the Champions League next season. If we don't strengthen the team, I don't expect a better performance from Union Berlin next season.

Union Berlin is one of the teams in the Bundesliga League that made the league to be more interesting this season, their performance were very solid they were able to be at the top of the league for a while with a good amount of points. Yes they could not maintain their position at the top but for them to qualify in the Champions League next season is a great achievement for them.

It will also be a better experience to meet with big teams in Champions League and this experience of being in the top four teams in Bundesliga will motivate them  to do better in next season. I don't blame Union Berlin  for unable to be at the top of the league for a long time I think this is something new to them that they have no experience of, next season is another opportunity for them to be better to hold to better to better position better than this.
Union Berlin is surely one of the most exciting teams in Bundesliga specially while in first half of the last season their dominance create good competition, and we have good challenge for the Bayern Munich even they won at the end, but things were looking interested now fans are looking for their entry into Champions League and their performance into next season as well because if they are able to have better performance then surely they will be good challenge for the top spot teams, and they have to do things for tackle them as well.

Now it's good time for them to have improved their quality because if they want to stay in good touch then surely they need to be had few good quality players in their squads but with current performance they are still much better than few teams which are having not good results even after spending huge funds in different leagues.

You shouldn't see Union Berlin's performance is bad but I see Union Berlin has good strength in the premier league and in the champions league.
But it's just that they still need some strong players who can make Union Berlin stronger to compete in the champions league and premier league.
Even though currently Union has a chance in the champions league compared to the European league.

Surely Dortmund will be ready to compete next season with Bayern Munich and they certainly did not accept the narrow point defeat in the standings which made Dortmund fail to win the Bundesliga trophy this season. After getting fresh funds from the sale of Bellingham, I think Dortmund will soon make an approach to some other youth targets and as usual they will be successful in nurturing the talent of the young player so that he becomes a very important player for the club. Dortmund will still be one of the successful teams in the bundesliga and the hope now is to end their drought so far.

I am pretty much excited about this next season Dortmund is pretty much doing something that can lift the team up while Bayern Munich needs to get even more stronger in their latest trades I think Thomas Tuchel needs to think very well about what kind of team he wants to combine with because this will surely lead them to victory on the next season, and because Dortmund has come very close to them that shocked many Bundesliga fans,
Thomas Tuchel still seems to be concocting a good strategy for his squad next season considering he was appointed coach of Bayern Munich at the end of this season and after the Bundesliga is finished he certainly won't rest because he has a big responsibility to bring Bayern Munich more consistent in the future. The rest is likely Thomas Tuchel will screen his players, who has the right to stay and who has the right to be thrown away in the summer. On the other hand, Thomas Tuchel doesn't want Bayern Munich to be in the same situation as this season and he certainly wants Bayern Munich to be more ahead of the difference in points from several of its competitors, including Dortmund.

Dortmund just get closer to Bayern Munich before dropping at some point and letting them advance alone. This season was an epic one since Dortmund gave literally the title to Bayern Munich at the very end after being in advance..
The other seasons weren't different with sometimes Bayern being dominating and sometimes close to the others. Even Leipzig was fluctuating badly. Schalke were runners-up many times in the past and now they are nowhere in 1.Bundesliga..
Yes, the ability of Bayern Munich, which is better than other teams in the Bundesliga, has become a weapon for them to dominate the Bundesliga. I see that ability actually exists in Borussia dortmund, but for some reason they can't use it properly and instead it's like letting Bayern Munich go alone. This season was a very painful season for Borussia Dortmund, because they had to fail with different goal productivity.
We have two completely different mind-sets in these two clubs managements with Bayern Munich is looking for the trophies and Borussia Dortmund is looking for the good profit through selling their top players which is clearly giving all how they work with both are having enough sources which can help them for doing good things, but Dortmund management never go for the trophies which is surely allowed Bayern Munich for dominating here but as things are going specially we have some decline in Bayern Munich and good fighting spirit in Union Berlin and RB Leipzig hopefully things will be positive and competitive because if we have better performance from these clubs then surely we will have good improvement at the top level and now Bayer Leverkusen is also doing amazing stuff for the staying at the top level which is also positive thing for the good fight at the top.
