Both Schalke and Hertha Berlin have underperformed this season. Both are in the relegation zone. So the match is not less important for any team. However, I prefer Schalke in this match. I have seen excellent performances from Schalke in the last few matches. Although they are not winning. However, the team's performance has improved significantly since the start of the season. The performance of the attacking players has been good. They are able to attack a lot. I expect Schalke to win this match.

Not happy that Bayern lost against Manchester because if they bust out they can 100% focus on becoming German champion yet again. Dortmund can only hope they will pull a miracle and beat City by 4 goals at home, even though we all know that is not gonna happen.

If that is true that's good news for all Bayern hater . Bayern having a dysfunctional team problem is the biggest chance for Dortmund to make up some points.

Schalke and Hertha Berlin are basically in difficult times but because Schalke has experienced a severe decline from previous seasons, then maybe Schalke has a lower quality than Hertha Berlin. Also, in head to head records at least they also always have a different trend, in the past Schalke had dominance for them but as time went on Schalke continued to slump.

So yes, in this match it will still be difficult for Schalke to be able to beat Hertha Berlin but even so, for some reason I hope that Schalke can win this match because then Schalke will have another chance to survive in the Bundesliga.

Because Xabi Alonso didn't have any experience with a big team in his management career. There wasn't even so much time passed since he started his manager career.

But despite everything he managed to break down the prejudices for me. His performance with the team so far has been really amazing. They were near the relegation field but now they have a spot for the Europa Conference League. They aren't even far away from the 4th place - 5 points.

Considering that they are the most in-form team in the league now I would love to see them fighting for a place to join the Champions League as well.

What is certain, Edin Terzic's current task is to return his team to its true form. as a coach, Terzic must bring his team to win the rest of their matches with victory. not easy indeed, but because currently Dortmund is in tight competition with the top standings. that means, they have to do their best. win over Union Berlin in last week's match, should be a strong motivation for them to face the remaining match after match. and hope that Bayern will slip in some of their matches.

As for Munich, the situation that Bayern are currently in is not very pleasant. Hertha and Schalke are at the bottom of the points table. And the points difference between these two teams is only 1. Hertha is 1 point ahead of Schalke. But the performance of these two teams is very weak. However, both have the potential to climb out of the relegation zone. Schalke is 5 points behind Bochum. However, if they perform well in a few matches and win, they can get out of the relegation zone. Hertha vs Schalke match is most likely to be a draw. Because the performance of both is weak. My prediction about this match is that the match will be a 1-1 draw. Although Schalke played well in a few matches, now their performance has deteriorated again.

Schalke and Hertha Berlin will play against each other at Friday. An important game for both clubs. Each winner can put the other on distance. A draw will not help anyone  because then they would remain at place 17 and 18.
Stuttgart will play against Dortmund and Bochum against Union Berlin. Both clubs from the bottom of the table will probably lose their games.
Schalke or Hertha Berlin could therefore manage to move up to place 16.

Bayern Munich lost badly against Manchester City yesterday. They lost the match 3-0. And the entire match was dominated by Manchester City players. After losing 3-0 in the away match, the chances of Bayern Munich winning the home match by more than 3 goals are very low. Munich won't be able to qualify for the semi-finals by defeating City as champions. And so now the team will fully focus on the Bundesliga matches. And Bayern Munich is a very strong team. If they give full focus to Bundesliga then their performance will be more stable in Bundesliga. I think the only challenger who has the chance to catch Dortmund is Union Berlin, while Leipzig, Freiburg and Leverkusen are chasing each other to secure the top five positions in the standings. The remaining few matches will determine whether they finish in the standings and how far their consistency gives the best results in the remaining matches.

What's interesting is the competition between Bayern Munich and Dortmund, which are currently only two points apart, so the competition for the Bundesliga title will be even tougher with the remaining matches ahead, so that the two teams must play more consistently in the remaining matches.
