what this small club achieves every year is simply fantastic for me. whether it was now with coach Christian Streich or earlier with Volker Finke .
it is an insanity what this club achieves year after year. since 1991 only 4 coaches have been employed there.
so many coaches are used by some bundesliga clubs in one season. and on top of that a good management .
it all fits together well and that is why this success comes every year. i am simply always happy when Freiburg wins. they have earned it.

Philosophy is of course a very important thing in a team because having a philosophy will make the players mentally more confident and motivated when competing, in my opinion Christian Streich is a great coach because he is able to apply this to the Freiburg squad.
Even though Freiburg is a small team and don't have a lot of funds to buy star players, they are extraordinary because they always work hard throughout the season, and are now in second place in the standings, 4 points away from Bayern Munich who are still firmly at the top.

Leipzig also have done a pretty nice job so far. They have been able to keep the Bundesliga and Champions League both in a balanced way. They are seen at the third position in the Bundesliga standings now. They are the third most scoring team at the same time. They have had problems with defense a little but they can strengthen this line by increasing their concentration level in their league matches as well. Because they might have had some problems during trying to advance to last 16 stage in the Champions League as well.

Most likely they will be eliminated by Manchester City there but this is still a good progress for them. Because they have made a really good amount of money from there so far. After that I expect them to be even more determined in the Bundesliga.

IMO, from a strength perspective, Leipzig has more potential to shift Freiburg's ranking. after all, Frankfurt, Union Berlin and Dortmund will struggle to finish in the top four of the Bundesliga until the end of this season. I guess, after the second half of the season rolls back. most likely, Freiburg will find it difficult to maintain its ranking. and the one closest to shifting Freiburg's ranking is RB Leipzig.

This season, Freiburg's performance is very good, it is also because of the coach's successful strategy. The best achievement Freiburg has achieved in the last 6 seasons is finishing 6th in the final standings last season. Specialy the Last 2 years you have seen a huge improvement on the Team and there playing .

So far only Freiburg is the nearest team to Bayern and 4 difference points actually not impossible to chased and Freiburg indeed performing well this season and i have to says they had good balanced to defense and offense but i think Freiburg have to improved more their performance because while against strong teams such as Leipzig or Bayern they cannot able to gets good results even lose with big scores but i can see some of Freiburg players such as Ritsu Doan has performing well during world cup so this indicated all of Freiburg players are in the good shape and next month they will starting the league against Augsburg i think Freiburg have good opportunities to win the match considering Augsburg performance was very poor this season
