I watched that match and i have to say that this was a rather unspectacular match to watch today. Of course Bayern as completely dominant because the quality difference between them and Schalke 04 is just way to big. That being said, Schalke showed a pretty good performance for their standard i would say and with "only" a 0-2 defeat, against a team of Bayern Munich that is in a great shape in the last few weeks, they can be pretty happy with themself i think.
Bayern now already has a 9 point lead over Borussia Dortmund. I think if a team can be dangerous to Bayern this year then it is RB Leipzig. They are already on the second place until tomorrow. Then Freiburg or Union Berlin will overtake them again.

I see your point but not only Mönchengladbach made good passes, Dortmund defense were utterly terrible also. They should have simply defenced better and stopped those devastating passes. Also 1. and 4th goals, goalkeeper made big mistakes, he was like only watching. Mönchengladbach played very well and deserved to win.

Edin terzic should go, tuchel should come back, of course, they need a little testimonial budget. There is a lot of shortcomings in the team

Third win in a row for the first time for Leverkusen.
This is something very good and of course I appreciate what Xabi is doing at this time. It seemed he was beginning to understand what had to be done and seeing them now was clearly very different from before. The 3 matches 9 goals they created are of course very good.
With this result they are now in a middle position and indirectly they are free from the relegation zone which always haunted them at the start of the season.

Freiburg will face Union Berlin in their home ground and I don't think this match will be ended by draw. Freiburg is favorite but Union Berlin is also in good shape. So any team can win this match. Winner will take place the second position in the point table. But there are a lot of time for Leipzig to secure their position.

No body expected from Leverkusen to win against Union Berlin 5-0. Union Berlin was first on the league table when they played and i think this loss is gonna have a big impact on Union. Also this huge win is a turning point for Leverkusen. Alonso really is making the team look well now

50 minutes of running time and Bayern dominance is still the same as in the first half. They are still too strong for now especially for Schalke. Don't be surprised by this kind of dominance and with the many chances that have occurred there will be another goal for Bayern in the second half because indeed they have been very good at confining Schalke so far.
It's just a matter of seeing whether Schalke can continue to focus on their defense or not.

Yes you are right. Mönchengladbach managed to beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2. This was a very valuable 3 points for them. They are currently placed behind Borussia Dortmund in the standings. They lost a critical 3 points to Dortmund. I did not think that Dortmund would lose this match, however. I think it was a surprise that Dortmund left this match with a defeat.

Mochengladbach. An amazing team, never fail to amaze me. Beating bayern and dortmund but not being consistent against teams that are not too strong, I hope they are consistent every game and make it into europe next season, they deserve it!

Get 3 points from sttutgart made leverkusen temporarily move up to 11th place, actually I was quite doubtful if leverkusen could beat sttutgart today but a good game from leverkusen was finally able to lock 3 points, in the match although sttutgart was a bit more dominating but leverkusen was able to create more chances in the match and finally the 2-0 win was theirs, it looks like leverkusen is starting to get back in the right direction but I also don't know whether leverkusen is able to maintain this positive trend after the league starts again or instead they will go back down like the beginning of this season, so far leverkusen is a one of the big teams in the league but in the last few seasons they seem to have lost their way and continue to be inconsistency.

Congratulations to Leverkusen and also Xabi Alonso, because with this good improvement at least Xabi Alonso's career as a coach will still get good grades. This winning streak began when Leverkusn won 5-0 to beat the onfire Union Berlin. Basically, if I consider these results on paper, of course it will never be easy for Leverkusen, but they have really proven that they are indeed a great team.

Their match had already started and had been running for more than 20 minutes. Bayern Munich opened their match against Schalke with a dominance of more than 70% possession. If based on expectations and the current performance of the two teams, Bayern Munich should be able to win this match with a distance of 3 goals. But we can't take Schalke for granted either.

As we already know in the EPL that Manchester City lost to Brentford even at their home match with a score of 1 - 2. That's something that doesn't make sense. I am pretty happy with that result, even though i am not a Leverkusen supporter. I just think that Bayern Leverkusen belongs among the top 4 clubs of Germany and it should be ranked way higher than they are at the moment. I also felt pretty bad a few weeks back when Gerardo Seoane had to leave the club. I always thought that he was a very calm but skillful coach and he also was pretty successful with Bayer in the last season, but they just did not have any luck in this one so far.
Xabi Alonso also is a very likeable person as far as i can tell so i am happy that Bayern is playing well now and that he is not under such big pressure anymore.

Bayern Munich will be able to continue the winning trend in the match against Schalke because these two teams are like heaven and earth because one is at the top and one is at the bottom of the standings. I don't see any chance for the hosts to get 3 points in this match because schalke are really in their worst form this season. the match has started and we will see that bayern munich will close the league break perfectly. but this match without sadio mane because he was injured in the previous match. Apart from that, if Bayern can get full points in this match, then the point distance from Leipzig will be even further. Bayern Munich in this match will rely on Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting up front.
