Bayern München offer €90mil for De Ligt and it appears that Juventus are inclined to accept the offer. Before the window had even started, news all over german media was that "Bayern have no money to spend this transfer window" and they went on to splurge on Mane. Although the news is slightly unreliable but it still seems possible.

I have checked Transfermarkt and haven't seen even a rumour related to Bayern Munich interestingly. However some other news sources are still claiming that they are serious about this deal. If they have really offered a huge amount like 90 million euros I think Juventus wouldn't refuse it. Because it has been said like they would be okay for an offer around that amount. I wonder if Chelsea are going to try to interfere with the deal with an offer. By the way there might be an opportunity for Chelsea to sign Upamecano if Bayern sign de Ligt.
I think he was one of Chelsea's primary targets. They aren't having the best of transfer season as most of their primary targets are getting picked by other teams. Not much ins to improve the Chelsea squad and they've had some top departures. At least they have signed Sterling and will be looking to sign Ake back.

Bayern Munich are really after de Ligt currently but for now it seems like just an interest. I haven't heard of an official offer yet. Chelsea are in this race also and I see Bayern Munich one step ahead of them. But the opinion of the player is the most important point here of course. de Ligt can be an important part of the team if he stays at Juventus. Because Chiellini has left the team. If he doesn't desire a move out of Italy then Bayern Munich and Chelsea both might be unsuccessful about signing him. Unless they pay the release clause amount of course.  Grin
Bayern Munich has sent some  representatives to Italy to making a bid for de Ligt. Certain that everything will be positive at the end of the day.
The player wants too make the move and the club's are in a good agreement and no disagreement between them. Then, the deal is good to come to conclusion. Bayern building another strong squad with young talent's.
There is no doubt right now De Light is main point of talk in transfer window, but interest from Bayern Munich is surely wired news or may be its tactics for creating hype about this player because we all know Chelsea and Manchester United both are front-runners for this transfer, but Barcelona is not having their desired money, so it's trying to create some competition environment for rising price of this player or may be this tactic is having something related to Robert Lewandowski's transfer.

Right now, pointing out all this just rumors because nothing is sure but in next few days things could be clear, and we will have all better updates about this interest because with current situation no club is interested in this player Barcelona needs to change contracts few points for having to settle this all.

Sebastien Haller finally wore the Borussia Dortmund jersey. A four-year contract was signed. It's not known to what extent he can fill Erling Haaland's place, but an important transfer fee of 31 million Euro was paid to Ajax so Dortmund expect something big from him.
He was the top scorer in the league with 21 goals last season for Ajax and scored 11 goals in the Champions League. He's a total striker. He will play in a higher level league, on a higher level team.
I think Dortmund filled Haaland very well. Haller has given a great performance this year. He played very well in both UCL and the Eredevisie. He knows the league as he has played in the Bundesliga before. I believe he will be very successful with Borussia Dortmund. While it's tough to replace Haaland, Haller can do it.

I don't know how accurate it is to compare Haller with Haaland. Haaland is one of the most valuable football players in the world right now, at a very young age and very talented. Haller is also a good player, but the time he can play is much more limited, his performance will start to decline in a few years.
Maybe he will play well enough this year, but he can't be a long term investment Cheesy

It was clear that Dortmund would not be able to keep Haaland in the team. Among his alternatives, perhaps one of the best options was Haller. Of course, Haaland was better than Haller both in terms of age and performance, but he still had a quality season to fill Haaland's place in Ajax.

What do you expect? They already bought Haller as a main striker. Do you think they will buy another striker? They bought Adeyemi so they have two new strikers. Besides that they spent more money than they got, so I don't really understand how you follow them. Money come from Haaland already gone to Haller and Adeyemi and they also spent twenty more to buy Schlotterbeck for defense. I'm all in for signing more star players but is club finance up to it? I don't think they will spend more money without selling players.
For me this is happening first time in last few years that Borussia Dortmund is investing more than they have from a transfer, and now they are doing some interesting transfers which are going to help their strength with this all now they are more challenging for Bayern Munich because in last season they were near title race but at the end lost due to some injuries and poor results now we can expect tough race even Bayern is also doing good decisions and bringing few quality players.

Even they are still in their way of having youths in their team and after few years sell them for big amount because they can't stop this all which is helping strongly for their financial strength but now fighting for title is also very impressive.

This season Haaland has played really well, but indeed he hasn't been very good this season in terms of fitness. He's been very injury prone this season which makes it difficult for their form this season.
Their performance was erratic as Haaland's condition did not improve.
Now there is new ammunition to replace Halaand who incidentally Haller is also actually quite good in the Eredivisie but indeed it is still quite difficult for them to compete if there is no motivation there.
I agree that apart from Bayern Munich then I think Dortmund is the second team that always has a chance to win the title in the Bundesliga. Haaland played well last season and he has helped the team by scoring important goals, but he has already had his chance to play in the Premier League for Manchester City and that has forced Dortmund to work hard to find a replacement this season. Luckily they have got the expected players, but I don't think the two are the same.

Even if this new Dortmund player has played well this season, I'm sure Dortmund will also find it difficult to keep him from moving to another team. And this is what makes it difficult for Dortmund to win the Bundesliga title because they can't keep their good players every season even though from a business perspective they are champions.
They have differences and that's for sure because Haaland and Haller have quite different characteristics but at least this is good enough even though they have differences but I think Haller can be a good substitute there.

As for the problem of competition here as long as Dortmund is serious with players going through the season then this will be good but indeed sometimes there are things that make them always fail because some players are missing during the transfer market.

Every seasons Bundesliga teams will always be attempts to strengthen their squad by buying new players and the latest teams who very agressive in transfer window is Dortmund that so far they get 8 players and i think this is prove that Dortmund serious want to compete with Bayern Munich for race title but indeed the most problem is while Bayern able to get star players but other teams only able to buy mediocre players this because financial strength for Bayern is very strong so that's why they can get the players they want and if these gap of financial strength cannot be reduced then it is difficult to other teams compete with Bayern
There are other teams in the Bundesliga that would have enough money to make bigger transfers, but then they would have to save money... on stadium expansion, which can mean fewer fans in the stadion over the years. Or in the youthacademy, which means that the young talent is not so strong. The TV funds are high, for example Dortmund 80 million euros, or Leverkusen 75 million euros, RB Leibzig with 73 million euros or Eintracht Frankfurt 67 million euros. You can buy star players with that money, but it would be missing over the years in other projects.

Not to mention Bayern Munich getting free money every season by winning the league title. I say free money because I don’t think there is any really serious competition in the league for Bayern Munich. And that’s why the other clubs find it really difficult to progress and also compete against Bayern Munich. They can only do one thing, either improve the facilities or improve the squad. And it is a very challenging decision to make. And Bayern Munich does not have to worry about improving the squad because they already have a squad that really consists of good players.

Dortmund are looking for talent, not star players. that's the difference between Dortmund movement with other teams in the transfer market this summer. So it's no wonder Dortmund have been very active in the transfer market this summer as Dortmund just lost their star Erling Haaland this summer. In the Bundesliga, Dortmund is indeed a tight competition for bayern in the race for the title, but at the end of the competition it is always Bayern who won the German league trophy.
It is what Dortmund have been doing for a long time, yeah. They must have enough money to bring the biggest star players in the world for sure but their vision is not that I'm afraid. Erling Haaland was the biggest example for this. They signed him for not a significant amount of money and they did this when not many number of people knew about him. But after that they helped him shine in the Bundesliga and everyone knows about him now. They would continue to keep this vision for a long time.

Even though I really don’t like the policy of Dortmund not aiming for any trophies, I have to agree that a lot of star players have come out of Dortmund and we have been entertained so much by those players. So, I have mixed feelings about Dortmund. I really don’t want to see dark mode just being business and not a club that competes for trophies. But at the same time, I also like the players that Dotmond have given us. But I would like to see Dotmond try to aim for trophies instead of profit from now on.

I agree with you. Bayern Munich is not only aiming for the Bundesliga title next season. They want to win the Champions League. Bayern Munich does not have to suffer too much to win the Bundesliga title. However, if you want to play well on a platform like the Champions League, you need a strong squad and a good match strategy. Bayern Munich is now focusing on this aspect.
Yes I think most people also realize that in the Bundesliga there is hardly any competition every season to win the title. Therefore Bayern Munich should see this as an opportunity to focus on the Champions League. Because some other teams, besides they have to compete in the Champions League, they also have a pretty tough competition in the domestic league.

I don't think Bayern Munich is getting stronger but it is their competitors like Borussia Dortmund who are not improving themselves to be able to compete with Bayern Munich. If you look from season to season, actually the squad that Bayern Munich has does not have many significant changes, but they are able to maintain their game. But I don't see that in other Bundesliga teams.
Agree, even though last season Dortmund actually had a chance to win the title, but what can we do, Haaland as a key player often gets injured. Moreover, in the new season Haaland will not play for Dortmund and this makes the Dortmund squad not always get a more solid chemistry, if Dortmund can keep Haaland for at least one more season then it is very likely that Dortmund will win the Bundesliga title. But what happened to Dortmund they kept repeating the same way, the case did not make them stronger because they always had a new main squad with new players.

The plan of bayern Munich is to win the Champions League , but that won't be easy for them when we already have team like Real Madrid that has been winning the Champions league back to back, we also have team like Manchester City that are close of winning the Champions League.  It will be a good experience if Real Madrid can try hard to win Champions league.

I've read that Bayern munich is trying to sign in Mattias De ligt from Juve for the next year for a sum of 80 m€  Shocked
I think that it is really ridicolous considering that De light is not so strong, in juventus he hasn't made some good things, hope that Bayern will not buy him, it would be a waste of money in my opinion.
De ligt is a young player with potential so it's natural that the price is so expensive, but I don't think that Bayern Munich will sign him because from the beginning Bayern teams rarely buy expensive players they tend to buy potential players at cheap prices.
This is just a rumor, because De Ligt doesn't feel at home with Juventus anymore, so he has been associated with several other teams. in fact now De ligt is very close to Chelsea.

^ de Ligt is a really good player and he can be a great asset for any team. So it is natural for any club to pursue him with a good amount of money but the amount of money which is being offered right now,  [Bayern Munich offering him 80 million] is really not worth it in my opinion. I don't deny that he is good but this amount of money is just not going to be a good decision in my opinion because what if he does not perform as he is expected?

we also have Chelsea chasing this player. this really does look like the offer might go up more than 80 million. I also heard that Chelsea is very close to signing the player.

I was surprised to read the news that de ligt was more interested in the new offer made by bayern. even the issue is that Bayern want to make the transfer de ligt the most expensive in the club's history. I really never think that Bayern was so focused on improving their defense by buying expensive defenders.
I am not surprised when Bayern Munich are willing to spend big to strengthen their defense or the squad as a whole. They did this because they started to focus on the bigger competition. I think they should put the Bundesliga aside, because now there is no competitor to bother them. Instead they should focus on competitions like the Champions League.

In this case Bayern already know their financial capacity and there is no need to sell Lewandowski and hold him until he becomes a free agent which is good enough for them because they are not short on money.
But today I saw reports that Barcelona will make a new deal with Bayern and have already prepared around 50 million which will be paid directly. It looks like this will be a new chapter in Lewandowski's drama.
Money is never superfluous. If Bayern Munich is really prudent about financial issues, then the club should take seriously the new proposal from Barcelona regarding Lewandowski. It is no secret to anyone that Lewandowski's contract ends next season and now there is a great opportunity to receive decent compensation for the player, rather than releasing the player as a free agent next season, while finally spoiling relations with him. Everyone understands perfectly well that Robert is a professional and will honorably fulfill his contract to the end, but still the emotional component can also play a role in his game. Another issue is that Barcelona also has to put together their own some puzzles with the sale and signing of their other players.

But again - if the player wants to do it, he will do it, if not, he won't. I think such a strong player would fit into Bayern's squad, which is probably why they are one step ahead in this transfer. But will Juventus let him go if they can't find a replacement for him and already the departing Chiellini? Maybe yes, but then the game will be difficult, and they understand that

There is some news now about De Ligt and Bayern and it is reported that what I read from Fabrizio Romano's tweet is that representatives from Bayern are now going to Juventus and talking about the transfer of De Ligt with 70 million plus ad ons there.
I think De Ligt is most likely now going to the Alianz arena especially in this case a few days ago someone said that De Ligt and Bayern had reached an agreement personally.
The fact that it's reported by fabrizio romano ..

I think it's more than legitimate news , but still the deal has not reached yet , if you looking at the amount bayern offered to juventus ... for sure nobody can reject that kind offer , the possibility are high , this is just unexpected transfer of the season damnnnn.
