TSG 1899 Hoffenheim many players are injured and thet will face big lose after losing good defender and midfielder. I am very sad after the injury of Kabak because he could make interesting and without him match will be like a body without soul.

All of Europe's top leagues appear to be on holiday for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches. The new league will start this weekend, of course this condition will affect the players and clubs who play with the country. Maybe some players will get tired or maybe get injured. Especially good players in big clubs.
Furthermore, regarding Hoffenheim, it is not a weak team either. They have the same 3 points with 1 loss. Heffenheim is a little lucky, they will perform at home. This is a momentum to add to Leverkusen's bad record of losing again after last season was very strong.

I don't think Dortmund will be a fierce competitor in the Bundesliga title race this season, they have undergone a lot of changes and on the other hand Bundesliga teams like Leverkusen, Leipzig and also Bayern have improved much stronger, it is the opposite of Dortmund so I doubt a little that Dortmund will compete fiercely in the title race especially this season they have a new coach of course every new coach needs to adapt in building a team as well as for Dortmund's new coach this season.
Dortmund remains a team that will compete at the top of the standings despite the many changes that have occurred. I think Dortmund still has a strong DNA in the Bundesliga and they will remain a strong competitor with Bayer Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and maybe Leipzig too.

You're right. Dortmund placed below Leipzig. But we're still at the early season, and so many things can happen till the middle of season.

The odds above say Bayern Munich is the favorite to win. Leverkusen is in second place. But, I'm a bit disappointed. The gap between Leverkusen and Leipzig is big. Also, Dortmund is in 4th place, behind Leipzig.

It seems to me Dortmund is only competing for the UCL. I'm getting skeptical to think they can become a title contender this season.

Bayern munich and Bayern Leverkusen remain the stongest title contender.

In the last few seasons, Dortmund has appeared quite impressive under Edin Terzic's coaching, even though they were not able to win the Bundesliga, we can see how Dortmund was able to surprise us by winning the DFB Pokal and also becoming a finalist in the Champions League, but this season significant changes have occurred in the Dortmund squad, including change of coach at the end of last season, Nuri Sahin is not an experienced coach although he previously coached Antalyaspor in the Turkish league, I think he will have great difficulty facing competition in the Bundesliga although so far they are still on a positive path in the league, in my opinion although Dortmund has always had the DNA of competitors in the Bundesliga, but currently the rise of several other teams in the Bundesliga will of course be a factor that makes it difficult for Dortmund to be able to compete as a challenger for the title, but even so I hope that Dortmund this season can surprise us by being able to win champion trophy after so long they failed to get it.

This season Borussia Dortmund has not performed badly. They have won one game and drew one in two games. They are even better than Bayer Leverkusen which has just three points in two games. They have a new coach, Nuri Sahin, who is not new to the Bundesliga, having worked as an assistant coach in Dortmund before he was appointed head coach. Four points from two games is not that bad, and hopefully, they will improve after the international break.

Maybe we might have some new team finishing in the top five places. Heidenheim is the current leader of the league and they are one of the three clubs (Bayern Munich and Leipzig) with six points. They might be a wonder in the German League if they remain consistent. In most cases, such early league leaders lose steam and end up in lower positions.

There is a difference in our talk this season, because previously I always saw a lot of talk about Borussia Dortmund, but this season I see a decline and more focus on Leverkusen who holds the status of defending champion in the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund was actually the first club that was believed to be able to break the dominance of Bayern Munich, but in reality they could not do it. This season will be a challenge for them to show again that they are a club worth considering. I want to see what they will do to make all that happen, or they will feel normal because what they prioritize is business that must continue to run. If they think like that, then I really regret it, because they are a club that has great potential.

Dortmund management would never stop doing business by selling players as they do every season, however, since last season, this isn't the Dortmund we've known for a long time because Dortmund was the only team that made the league more competitive for Bayern Munich, but selling their players as they always do prevented them from competing last season. Since Dortmund sold Bellingham, Haaland, and other strong players, I believe their performance has changed, and last season we witnessed another team show up to challenge Bayern Munich and win the title.

Bayer Leverkusen did what Dortmund was unable to do in the prior 10 years, Leverkusen came out from nowhere to win the league. However, I am not expecting much from Dortmund this season, even though they have won one of their previous two games, I don't think Dortmund will come back to their old place in the Bundesliga because Leipzig and Leverkusen are stronger than them.

Hoffenheim should not be an opponent that can make it difficult for Leverkusen in the next match because if you look at its quality, Hoffenheim is different from Leipzig, Hoffenheim is an average club that is trying to perform well but Leverkusen is not an easy opponent for it so even though playing at home Hoffenheim has a very small chance of winning compared to Leverkusen.

I will still favor Leverkusen to win this match even though they just lost against Leipzig but I'm sure Xabi Alonso has fixed his previous mistakes so as not to repeat careless mistakes again, Leverkusen has odds @1.58 to win in my opinion this is a pretty good odds.

If we believe in the accuracy of this assessment, then the odds for Leverkusen to win do not look attractive, after all, the probability of winning is not much higher than 50% and the odds are very far from 2.0. But on the other hand, considering the difference in class, +58% for a simple victory for Bayer looks reliable, since no one expects Bayer to lose points two games in a row, especially against a clear underdog.
Yes, although the odds offered are not very attractive, but it's not bad enough to try, Leverkusen's victory over Hoffenheim I believe it, rather than taking a much bigger win draw, the bookmakers also realize it and they also corner Bayer not to have a greater chance of giving profit to bettors.

Of course Hoffenheim are not favored in this match it is very clear and we will favor Bayer Leverkusen, yes despite the defeat by Leipzig the previous time, I think Xabi will not repeat it either.
Yes ,you are right. Bayer 04 Leverkusen is good team players of that team are very hard working and they did not lose the heart after losing the last match but I think in this match ,they will be winner of that match.  Both team are of equal level but Bayer 04 Leverkusen has more chance to win next match and they will attack from the front and if they became successful in that aspect, they will win next match by high margin.  TSG 1899 Hoffenheim many players are injured and thet will face big lose after losing good defender and midfielder. I am very sad after the injury of Kabak because he could make interesting and without him match will be like a body without soul.

This season Dortmund is still a team that every opponent must be wary of even though their orientation in business such as selling good players has not stopped at this time. However, considering that Dortmund can always produce other new players to be better, it can at least still give them good hope this season so it would be very reasonable if we put Dortmund in the league title race this season even though teams like Leverkusen must also be an important consideration for Bayern Munich and Dortmund this season.

Every team's performance is not the same every season, there are some changes.  And if they have aggi, it doesn't matter that much because it depends on the teams how they perform and what they don't.  Leverkusen's performance really suits him because they are hard-working and strong, if they weren't, it would have gone to any other team.  But at this time this right goes to them.  Look, there are teams with better performance than Bayern, but if they perform and play like Bayern, it is a little difficult to beat them because their players don't take time to change their direction and take the lost match to themselves.  It was not in their power to defeat them.  Now if they don't think about it then it will be good because they will think for their win then good otherwise they will play for something else then they will really regret it.
When a new player suddenly comes to a team, it is seen that he performs quite well for a few days, but as time passes, when that player comes on the radar of the opposing team, the weakness of that player, the strong points of that player are all noted by the opposing team. This shows that the new player is not able to perform as well as he did earlier. It's the same with Leverkusen, no team expected to perform this well last season so they went undefeated and won the season's title as a middle category team. But I will definitely appreciate their performance because if they didn't perform exceptionally well they would have been stuck at one stage of the season but that wasn't the case for them. But this season will be difficult for them because every team has researched well about the weak points and strong points of this team so it is difficult for them to become champions this season.

Dortmund are the engineers of their own downfall. I can remember those years when Dortmund were the only team giving Bayern Munich tough competition each season but those glory days are slowly disappearing because Dortmund turned their priority to be a business oriented club and selling out every top talent they get for huge profits not minding the competition ahead of them. Leverkusen have now stepped up to become the contender for Bayern Munich. They are focused on competing and winning trophies.
Yes you are right Borussia Dortmund used to be great team but now they are not doing well because they care more about making money than winning games. They used to challenge Bayern Munich but now they sell their best players for a lot of money and do not think about how it will affect their team. This has made them weaker and now Bayer Leverkusen is strong competitor to Bayern Munich. Leverkusen wants to win trophies and be the best and that is why they are doing well. Dortmund needs to think about what is important again if they want to be top team. They made a mistake by focusing on money instead of winning and now they need to change.
It is undeniable that Dortmund is slowly starting to find it difficult to compete in the league because several teams so far have also begun to rise, so far we know that Dortmund is the toughest and biggest rival owned by Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, but precisely last season when Bayern Munich slumped, dortmund also experienced the same thing so that Leverkusen, who had never previously been considered as a championship contender team was able to take advantage of the slump of Munich and Dortmund to run alone in the league, the poor performance currently owned by Dortmund is of course inseparable from the limited finances they have so far, so inevitably selling players is the main solution to keep them able to compete in the top tier even though they are not  champions.

Dortmund has released a lot of their star players and they are no different from a factory that produces star players and then sells them to other teams so far, but I think it is very natural for them to do it to cover their expenses every season, even so I think no other team in the Bundesliga is able to do like what Dortmund does right now when they sell star players but they are able to give birth to a lot of new star players from the their squad and it continues to run every seasons.

I will say you’re right on this. We only use to know of Dortmund and Bayern Munich and when there’s a match between this two teams, it’s always full of excitement and intriguing moments. Dortmund have really lose their stance in the league and they’ll just have to be more careful not to get worse in the coming years. I see that their performance is kind of averagely good, so I think they can contend for the league title this season if they want to. Selling of good players for business is always their priority, but I think they can only hope for a better season ahead for themselves if they want to and not focus on the business oriented part of the club that’s trying to still their core moments in football.

There was no a better than than seeing a win streak more than a decade being stopped by them. I really appreciate that.

Leipzig lacked consistency. But, they destroyed Leverkusen's unbeaten record. So, they must be seen as a strong team.

For the fact that Bayern Leverkusen stopped the regular wining team from wining last season trophy made me to like them so much because they made the league to become one of the most interesting and unpredictable league but there performance this season is not encourageable enough to repeat there unbeaten record because those who follow up there last season matches will no that a lot has gone wrong on there performance now because from there last match against Leipzig was not how they use to perform and Leipzig managed to become the first on this league to beat them.

Actually I can see that Leipzig is becoming highly competitive on this league season and is very much interesting to see that they have not been beaten by any team so far and they are the third club on the table, though they have only played two matches so let's see if they will still managed to continue there winning records as they are going to meet Union Berlin next.

I will say that Borussia Dortmund got tired of playing the chasing  game every season without being able to stop Bayern Munich. It is not easy chasing someone for good eleven season and still the person keeps improving and doing better. Funny enough Dortmund best players those days always dream of playing for Bayern Munich and Dortmund always fail to prevent them from going to Play for Bayern Munich. Since stopping Bayern Munich was proving too difficult for Dortmund, the best they could do was to turn into a selling club since winning the trophy was out of their reach. But something like this wouldn't have happened if other clubs back then were able to up their games and provided more competition for Bayern Munich. That's why it's good for a league to have more than two teams capable of winning the league. Gradually Bayern Munich dominance of Bundesliga is coming to an end. But how long can Leverkusen go, will they fall off like Dortmund along the way or will other clubs still join them and end Bayern Munich dominance totally?

I understand why Dortmund sells players, they don't want to risk failing again. Better this way, at least they remain competitive. Rome always the best!

As I said before, to me it looks like the club is content with staying in the shadow of Bayern (and maybe now Bayer as well), and they're not willing to risk any money to take the club to another level.
But it works for them I guess. That's still enough to finish in the top of the Bundesliga and qualify for the UCL.
The story of why Dortmund sold their talent is a long one. We should understand the whole story. The strategy of not buying superstars but creating superstars originated from the financial crisis that plagued Dortmund in 2004. It is true that over the past 20 years, Dortmund has still played well and is a force in world football even though the team only has young players. Dortmund themselves were on the brink of bankruptcy and they do not want to repeat that. So they had to sell stars to maintain the team's finances.

Dortmund may be financially stable but it is very difficult to win titles. Dortmund are the ones who produce top football stars but then end up selling them to strengthen other teams. Fate is so ironic for them, hopefully, one day Dortmund will have enough financial resources to not need to sell talented stars, at that time I think Dortmund will be a formidable football force.

Bayer Leverkusen's surprising performance and achievements of last season I don't think can be repeated this season but I believe they can still have an impressive season. Playing in the UEFA Champions League is very tasking and now that teams will now play 8 games in the first round of the competition makes it even harder.
What is certain is that their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga has been broken and cannot be achieved again. Currently, their focus is to compete to become Bundesliga champions with other top clubs, which is certainly not easy this time. But, they will be always struggling.

And for UCL, well, in their first match, Leverkusen will play against Feyenoord,
It will be at

Source: Feyenoord vs Leverkusen

Yes Leverkusen's unbeaten record in the Bundesliga has been broken this season but they still deserve to continue fighting until the end in the hunt for the title with other elite clubs Bayern Munich and Dortmund, 3 points behind not too far for the start of the season because there are still many matches to be played and I am sure sooner or later Bayern Munich or other elite clubs will soon follow their first defeat.

Talking about the Champions League match, it seems quite difficult to predict the victory because they have never met each other before but I think Feyenoord is quite advantaged because their first match will be played at home which is certainly not easy for Leverkusen who will play the match in the Netherlands.

The Dortmund management never tried to win the Bundesliga title and did not build the squad. Dortmund management aimed to find talented players. and making money by selling players at high prices. And that's what we saw from the Dortmund management. The Dortmund team is a renowned team in the Bundesliga. And enough rich club Dortmund. Dortmund can certainly build a title-winning squad if they want to and are capable of challenging for the title.

However, Dortmund are not in a strong position this season either. Dortmund won one of the two matches and drew one. Dortmund team failed to win against Werder Bremen. I don't think Dortmund's attack is strong this season. Perhaps this team will not compete for the title this season. Bayern Munich and Leverkusen will compete for the title. The Bundesliga title race would have been more exciting if the Dortmund management had put together a stronger squad.

Leverkusen will not repeat the same mistake and they must get 3 points this time. Hoffenheim is not an opponent who will be able to stop them and on the contrary, Leverkusen players' confidence has increased after losing in the previous week. It does not have to win by a large number of goals because Leverkusen will still play other important matches and the need to maintain the stamina of their players to stay fit is a focus that they must also pay attention to. Hoffenheim's only victory was obtained when they played against Holstein Kiel and the rest will only get a series of defeats.

For the third match later we will see the first match that brings together Dortmund with Heidenheim which they also became team with quite good performances from the two matches that have started at the beginning of this season.
Match will take place in Signal Iduna Park which is Dortmund home ground, this is Dortmund chance to get 3 full points and make Heidenheim drop from the top of the standings, if Dortmund performs badly then clearly they will disappoint many people because Dortmund is the favorite in this match.
Previously Dortmund was reported with lot of confidence from everyone when they managed to bring in Sehrou Guirassy who is Stuttgart mainstay player in the front position as sharp striker and reliable goal machine, but at the beginning of this season he still couldn't appear with Dortmund.
If Sehrou Guirassy participates in Dortmund next match maybe we will see them win with quite lot of goal, I can't wait to see it.
