I agree with you, they lost the game in good time because now they have god enough time to find weaknesses and know what why they lost this match. This will definitely give them a good chance to have a better performance in the next games.
I think Bayer Leverkusen will have much harder games during this season because of the Champions League and this loss will definitely help them.
Bayer Leverkusen's surprising performance and achievements of last season I don't think can be repeated this season but I believe they can still have an impressive season. Playing in the UEFA Champions League is very tasking and now that teams will now play 8 games in the first round of the competition makes it even harder. Bayer Leverkusen for the first time since the start of last season lost a league game last weekend but I believe they can still bounce back to their best again.

Having an impressive season, yes but what's the joy in having a wonderful season without a trophy to show for it? With how they have been handling their games I still have that feeling that they can get something this season even if is not the Bundesliga title they can achieve something bigger, talking about the UCL, they can get it after all the teams we are seeing haven't done what they did in a season so other clubs would be mindful of them. And the game they lost was expecting but not to that team was expecting Bayern Munich, the lost game  made the Leverkusen side relaxed to go in to the next game and they don't need to maintain that unbeaten streak to show that they're good, is best they set there head straight and get every point in the remaining games ahead.

What is certain is that their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga has been broken and cannot be achieved again. Currently, their focus is to compete to become Bundesliga champions with other top clubs, which is certainly not easy this time. But, they will be always struggling.

And for UCL, well, in their first match, Leverkusen will play against Feyenoord,
It will be at

Good news for Dortmund fans, but confusing with all this. I mean, if Dortmund really wanted Klopp back, when they heard the news that Klopp wanted to leave Liverpool, Dortmund should have made an offer to the coach. But looking at some of the news, it seems like this will be a strategy that we will not know and give a nice surprise when secretly having an agreement between Klopp and Dortmund. And for Nuri Şahin, I am actually not sure if he will really be able to make a change but we will see in the next few games whether he can maintain Dortmund consistency.

At this point, anything that happens between this two sides is fair to me. Klopp had a good relationship with Dortmund in the past and if he wants to join them now, he will easily get his position back in that club. Taking a break at Liverpool may have been the only way he could leave the club without the team having negative impression towards him. Nuri Sahin may not be a bad choice for Dortmund but has that experience than him and he may be considered soonest to replace him if care is not taken.

The victory of Leverkusen as Bundlesliga champions last season was magical which has boosted their confidence in the league but about this new season it's very obvious with how they are starting off that they can't repeat the spell of retaining the title no matter how they try because other opponents like Bayern Munich, Brussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig look very set and prepared for them, especially Bayern Munich because to them it's somehow a challenge that Leverkusen had to strip them of their birth right and letting Leverkusen retaining it this season is very unlikely.

Bayern Munich will likely want to try again and collect their title back from Bayern Leverkusen. Bayern Leverkusen will also try not to miss out on the league title this season again, after winning it the first time, they may feel it’s worthy of been tried again and they’ll have that confidence that since they won it the first time, they’ll definitely win it again. All other clubs in the league will also feel that if they put in more efforts, they may also win the league also. So the competition in the Bundesliga now has gone beyond just two teams but includes most of the teams in the league who are all fighting for different course but majorly finishing at the top four or top six to get an European competition to participate in.

To be fair no team can beat Real Madrid, until they do which is a shock to the whole world. The only team that can realistically beat Real Madird is Manchester City, aside from that no matter which team we are talking about it doesn't make sense for Real to lose, doesn't matter which part of the world this club is from, stuttgart or not, no team has a chance to win.

But, sometimes Real plays terribly and loses, just a few years ago they lost to Serrif, a team that worth 10 million euro total, and yet it happened anyway, so shocking results do exist in football, same season Real Madrid won the UCL as well. So, do not be really worried about Suttgart, they will lose, and if not then they will be very happy, but it's still smart to bet on Stuttgart to lose.

I disagree with you, like who is Real Madrid that is only Man City that can beat them? Some seasons ago Madrid lost to Shakhtah, I think it ended 3-2 so you can't be saying that. Even in this very state of Madrid with all the big boys they have I still believe that there is a team capable of beating them after all they (Madrid) haven't been able to play as a unit, just running and making some crazy mistakes against teams they're suppose to beat without stress.
Stuttgart can as well beat Madrid, it all depends on how clinical they are in front of goal, converting any chances they have got and if they can get that then they can beat Madrid but betting on Stuttgart against Madrid is a bit tempting but anything can happen, Madrid can decide to go and take a nap and you see them losing to Stuttgart, I don't think anybody would like to take that chance of staking on Stuttgart.

Obviously Leverkusen is now regarded as a big team, they got passed average last season so most of their opponents will be playing against them in such a style, they will only need to restrategise if they must stay ahead of the game because away from the bundesliga, they have got the champions league which is even more though than their domestic league thay have got some time to get on fixing their flaws as the domestic league hasn't gone halfway neither has the champions League commenced already.

To be fair no team can beat Real Madrid, until they do which is a shock to the whole world.
Even Stuttgart is or was not playing good the first 2 games in the german league its possible that they can beat or making a draw against Real Madrid.
For sure the chances are low but its possible and there are a few days for that game and maybe Stuttgart will be getting better in the league with there performance.
Next game Stuttgart are playing is in Gladbach and the team has the power for win this match in Gladbach.
As the reigning Spanish and European champions, Real Madrid is considered by many as the strongest team in Europe at the moment but that doesn't mean that they're unbeatable. Football is one game that produces shocking results especially when they're least expected so even when I know it's very unlikely to happen, I think Real Madrid is still very much beatable.
Their first UEFA Champions League game of this season will be against German club Stuttgart and I would've given Stuttgart a chance in my prediction of that game if they'll be the host but since it'll be played at Santiago Bernabeu, I think it'll be an easy win for Real Madrid.

As long as Xabi keeps playing with the system that already worked so far, he is going to get good results and nothing will change much. I know that it may not look like that with just one loss but that's just one loss, in fact it's their first loss in nearly forty games of Bundesliga, we should be more forgiving against that, plus it wasn't like some relegation level team, it was Leipzig and shit happens, we shouldn't really make a comment on what's going to happen with just one game.

I am not saying Leverkusen will win the league title again, maybe they will or maybe they won't we can't know that, but if they win it then we can say one game didn't matter that much, and if they lose it, it won't be because of just one single game, they would have to lose even more.
Xabi Alonso played under the best minds in the game. I believe that experience helped him develop the perfect strategy to excel in the Bundesliga. His tactics has already been tested for success in the previous campaign finishing unbeaten at the end of the season….that’s not something that is easy to do. Indeed Xavi’s system is effective and works very well for the team. Whether they win the league title or not, Leverkusen already have started on a good note this season.

It's a funny list of reasons, because Real Madrid have a lot more upside in every single one of those. Of the successes of German teams, for some reason I only remember Dortmund's victory (I think in the quarterfinals of the Champions League); in other cases, Real simply destroyed all German clubs, including Bayern.
Overall, it doesn't matter how Stuttgart plays in the Champions League (I don't think they'll make it into the top 8, but they won't be eliminated right away either, so only the playoffs will matter), they need to improve their situation in the Bundesliga - 6 goals conceded in 2 games is a bad sign.

The last reason from that list should be a joke. Calling Stuttgart could trouble Real Madrid is a joke. Their current stats showed how they're being toothless after Guirassy joined Dortmund. They were losing their sharpness. they have been so poor in bundesliga. also, it's an away game for them

It's a fortune for Stuttgart if they manage to enter the R16. They'll have two intensive weeks. First, an away match against Madrid. Then, a home game against Dortmund.

Real is also not in the best shape due to a large number of injured players, but still, these are different leagues to seriously expect a surprise from Stuttgart. I don't know if Stuttgart will be able to get into the 1/8, but it is unlikely that they will be lower than 24th place, which means they will have two games in the "preliminary" playoffs.

I think right now nobody knows the reasons why Klopp decided to leave Liverpool to go on break as he earlier stated as his reason for leaving Liverpool job and may be after resting for few months he is trying to reconsider his decision then Dortmund invited him to have some discussion who knows if it will end up seeing him as the new manager of Dortmund.

The management of Dortmund must have reached out to Klopp before he flew to Germany but I think if he end up accepting the offer to become the coach of Dortmund that means he left the Liverpool team because of the performance of the team last season as they couldn't win any trophy.

It could also simply be that the job at Liverpool was too stressful for him, because playing in the FA Cup in addition to the Champions League or UEL and on top of that having opponents like City or Arsenal in the Premiere League is just a different level of stress than playing in your own country in the Bundesliga where it is usually less complicated and you also have the factor with your own country where you usually prefer to stay, even if he likes Liverpool and the fans it is probably too much at some point.

These could also be a good reason for him to have left the Liverpool team, the stress that Klopp encountered during last season is enough to make him to resign as the Liverpool manager because looking at what happened to him last season one could see that he became very tired because t some point the performance of his team became very poor when every one was expecting them to keep getting better and winning games since they were already in the race with Arsenal and Manchester City but the reverse was the case.

Coaching a team from his country won't be a bad thing if you ask me but for a manager that has gotten some level of respect he must continue to do well otherwise getting a sack letter if the Dortmund team fails to improve this season would definitely be shameful to him because staying in England as a Liverpool manager would give him an assurance to his job even though he doesn't win the league ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal.

Bayer Leverkusen's defeat against Leipzig was good for Xabi Alonso. Because Bayer needed to bounce back at some point. It reminded Xabi that he needs to focus on higher goals. Leverkusen showed signs in the Super Cup and in the league opener at Gladbach that their attention to detail is not what it used to be. Leverkusen had been showing bad signs defensively for some time.

Xabi Alonso will make the most of the break and learn from the defeat against Leipzig. In my opinion, Leverkusen's defeat was good and brought them back to life. This season is very important for Leverkusen to stay in the Bundesliga championship member. Because if they become champions this year, they will make it a continuity.

I agree with you, they lost the game in good time because now they have god enough time to find weaknesses and know what why they lost this match. This will definitely give them a good chance to have a better performance in the next games.

Yes, maybe that's the positive side that we can take from the defeat situation experienced by Leverkusen yesterday against Leipzig and I think evaluating to find the cause of the following defeat also with the enemy's superiority is something that is quite common for teams involved in the competition. This season will be more difficult for Leverkusen? Of course that's for sure, my friend, because many teams already know about how fierce Xabi Alonso's squad was last season which made competitors move quickly to improve their performance to be more impressive, but there is no other choice but to correct mistakes and update performance in any way if Leverkusen wants to defend its title, the point is I believe enough that Leverkusen can but the journey will not be as easy as last season.

Bayer Leverkusen have had an underwhelming start to the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign, and it's a sign that they're going to struggle this season. I know no team can stay undefeated forever, but I think Bayer Leverkusen's way of playing is problematic. If they do not quickly regain their form and improve their weaknesses, Leverkusen will find it difficult to defend their "throne" in Germany against the return of Bayern Munich. Besides Bayern vs Leverkusen, Dortmund vs RB Leipzig are also qualified to compete for the Bundesliga championship. Therefore, this year's season will be very interesting.
However, the fact that Bayer Leverkusen's leadership succeeded in retaining "chief architect" Xabi Alonso, as well as not losing any stars in the main squad, is the basis for fans of this team to hope to defend the Bundesliga championship.
I agree Bayer Leverkusen slow start to season is worrying but I don't think they are out of running yet. Their way of playing has some problems but they have good team and smart coach Xabi Alonso. It is good that they kept Alonso and their best players. But they need to fix their weaknesses fast to keep up with strong teams like Bayern Munich and others. Bundesliga is always tough and this season will be very exciting. Leverkusen fans have reason to be hopeful but team needs to play better to keep their title. It is too early to give up on them but they need to improve soon.

I think Bayer Leverkusen start this season shouldn't be seen as a slow start because they lost their last match at home, they made a terrible mistake losing from 2:0 to 2:3 when they had opportunity of winning game but that shouldn't be seen as a problem unless they make the same mistake in their next game. Xabi Alonso should be prepared to make an adjustment and improve the performance of his team in doing his he should motivate his team to face the task ahead since they will be playing in the champions league and defending their league title would be the most important thing for them to do this season since the league is looking so difficult already.

Which how the Bundesliga league is going, I don't think Bayern Leverkusen can win the trophy anymore because that losing of three points will make them weak, and I'm seeing that Bayern Munich will be the favorite of winning the title this season because they're doing well and winning their matches, and I think the new coach will do like Xavi Alonso, he won't lose points, he'll go unbeaten without losing any points in the league, and I'm sure he can do that. Let's see how the competition will end up and see who will get the opportunity and win the title.

I'm rooting for Munich to win the league this season because Harry Kane hasn't won a trophy yet, so I want him to realize his dream this season and probably fight for the Champions League as well, but it won't be an easy task for them to win the Champions League because with the new ropes they've put in place, they'll face other clubs in another league who haven't had the opportunity to play before, and they'll put in more effort to achieve their goals without losing matches. So I feel Bayern Munich can win the season, and Harry Kane will be the leading goal scorer if he performs well this season.

I totally agree you about Bayer Leverkusen great season. They only lost one game which was final against Atalanta. That shows how well they played all season. Their coach Xabi Alonso is very smart and figured out how to make his team play their best. He got most out of his players. We do not know if they can do it again this season but last season they worked hard made smart decisions and played well. Alonso is great coach because he can make plan and make it work. Bayer Leverkusen success shows what can happen when you have talented players work hard and make smart decisions.
This season is quite different from the other, Leverkusen will struggled this season, already recorded their first defeats this season against RB Leipzig. Who to blame for their shocking defeats? Ofcourse nobody because losing is generally accepted everywhere. Success is acknowledged and accomplish when they've the best leading squad and the Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen will not relent. Xabi Alonso is the main reason Bayer Leverkusen are in their best form till date. There's always a possibility for any elite club to bounce to winning, it's regular stats and offering for main tasks.

Klopp was seen in Dortmund training recently. It was really good to see him back there even though he wasn't there to coach.  Smiley  Klopp is very valuable for this team and the fans. He also knows that.

One day maybe he might be back to manage. However if Nuri Şahin is doing really good things there in that time then Klopp's team would be different. I don't think he would return to Liverpool after managing them for around 10 years.

But I would love to see him managing a German team again someday before his retirement. Because for now it doesn't seem like he has left his job for good.
Good news for Dortmund fans, but confusing with all this. I am getting confused with the whole thing of Klopp saying he needs to go on break from coaching and not up to 6 months he said this, he was seen in Dortmund. Is it that Klopp wanted to leave Liverpool and don't know how to tell the management because he feels, they will not allow him.

However, it might be that Dortmund called him to come over after they heard he is on break to persuade him be the coach of Dortmund. I am looking forward to see where this news will lead to of Klopp in Dortmund.

About Klopp statement “having run out of energy to coach” when he decided to terminate his contract at Liverpool at the time, I think it's true. Because I saw Klopp really expended all the energy he had at that time, at least it became a different vision or judgment if we looked at Pep Guardiola and Klopp. So yes, I think Klopp has really lost his energy to be a manager, but if it is to serve in another position then it seems possible.

But indeed, if the news about Klopp being at Dortmund at this moment I think it is also only temporary. But even though it was only for a short time, at least Klopp presence was really able to raise the spirit of the staff, players and to the fans. So yes, with Klopp presence in Dortmund,  hopefully it will make Dortmund able to get better results after this international break.
Klopp recently was linked to England and United States national team but he refuse these rumours because he still not interested to return to train the particular teams again and about Klopp in Dortmund he is taking over this team for testimonial match and if i am not mistaken the match was held in honor of former Dortmund players Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski so after this match ended then Dortmund will be trained by Nuri Sahin ahain

But indeed so far only Klopp who can makes Dortmund can able to broke the domination of Bayern Munich even at that time with lack of star players Klopp can bringing Dortmund became an strong opponent for Bayern Munich but currently Dortmund under Nuri Sahin and i have to says Dortmund start is quite good because they can collect 4 points from 2 matches

Their run was a fairytale in the real world, as Xabi Alonso Leverkusen became the first Bundesliga team to go unbeaten all season, winning the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal in the same fashion, and almost pulling off another miracle in the Europa League. That historic feat is unlikely to be repeated, with Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Leipzig all growing in strength at the same time. However, even though that record has been halted by Leipzig, Leverkusen chances of retaining the title are still very much alive.

Bayer Leverkusen still has the oppurtunitty win the Bundesliga because the league is still young. They still have the quality players since they retained most players who made them champions last season. What is certain now is that they will not maintain their unbeaten run this season since they have already lost a game. The Xabi Alonso side was defeated by RB Leipzig making them to lose three points. The league is competitive with good sides like Bayern Munich with some of the best players in Europe. The surprising leader of the table now is Heidenheim, while Leverkusen is in the eighth position.
That's right, the Bundesliga is only two games old, meaning there are still 32 games to go, so it's still a long way to go before we know what will happen at the end of the season. The league table is not yet fully formed, the points gap is still very small, and there will be many challenges for each contestant to face first. The Bundesliga has become increasingly competitive with the end of Bayern Munich dominance last season, and this season we expect more teams to be involved in the hunt for trophies.

We have seen Bayern perform well in most of the matches, but when they get the chances they need the most, they fail. And I hope they rise to the occasion even though I love them too.  But I also have an idea of their performance.  Yes, that's fine, but the fun is when they win the matches they need to win.  If they lose this league, their performance will not be considered good.  Because all the hard work they have put in to win this league will be wasted.  And now they have to win for their defeat by conquering each of them.  Because in this league they have given name with good performance.  Hopefully, Bayern will play well from earlier and win the match they are striving for.
Kompany is fully responsible for Bayern Munich performance this season, with the former Burnley manager being asked to lead the German giants back to glory. It's no easy task for a young, inexperienced manager, but with the squad he has at his disposal, it should be more than enough to reclaim the domination he lost.
