Last season when competing in the UEFA Europa League I believe Leverkusen and their great coach are ready to face any difficulties in the competition but to compete in the UEFA Champions League I have a little doubt.
I will not say Leverkusen is bad or Alonso will not be ready to face the challenge in the UCL but in terms of competition in the UCL it is very tough because there are so many top clubs with more experience to be able to win the title and on the other hand Leverkusen so far has just achieved the achievement of winning the Bundesliga title and it is too early to be able to compete in the UCL until the final or semi-final round.

While defending the Bundesliga title is not easy because now Bayern Munich seems to be recovering soon and fighting back to seize its dominance and Dortmund will also complicate the competition for the title.

Yes you are right I agree that Bayer Leverkusen did well last season so it is no surprise they are playing in Champions League. They should be ready for it. Their manager Xabi Alonso is good at his job like we can see how he is managing the team so I think they will do well. He has experience and knows how to make good decisions during games and how to manage the team and players. This will help them in the Champions League. I am excited to see how far they will go in the competition.

There are several teams that are really confident of winning the Bundesliga title next season, the first in my opinion is Bayern Munich. Even though Kompany is a new coach in the Bundesliga, I am sure he can contribute greatly to Bayern Munich's success in the domestic league. Leverkusen and Dortmund are second and third in my opinion, but the 3 teams above have a good chance of winning the title.

Basically Kompany is still doubted by most people and observers, but perhaps we shouldn't underestimate him completely. We shouldn’t put that much expectations on him in the champions league after a successful and glamorous season in the Bundesliga last season. The competitions are different and it’ll provide a lot of differences and playing atmosphere in this side. He can try and he could win it or even go farther than expected in his first try but he should not be a disappointment to many if he’s unable to give result as expected.

He may have did well in the Bundesliga in his first season managing Bayern Leverkusen but might be different in the champions league, not because he can’t try but because the experience there also matter and without that experience, you can’t be able to go farther in the champions league like you can do in other leagues. It is most often given you little chance to prove yourself and make it to the next round and if you fail sometimes at your first trial, the second trial may not be able to bail you through to the next round.

Yes, I remember how Dortmund lost the League in their last mach to Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga was tough last two season because Dortmund were very serious despite starting the season with some poor performances. But the main problem with Dortmund is selling their players especially the important once, if they couldn't have sold Haaland to Manchester City, they could have won the League last two seasons ahead of Bayern Munich, and they sold Bellingham last season to Madrid which also affected their performance last season either.

I agree that a lot of very good players was leaving Stuttgart but as far i have seen yesterday on Sky Transfer News Deniz Undav will be stay in Stuttgart.
And his contract will be going to 2027 and i think that is a very good thing for Stuttgart even he wasnt cheap for them.
