Lewandowski can be said to have become a Bayern Munich icon since being bought from Dortmund in 2014, and now Lewandowski has become Bayern Munich mainstay goal machine, especially now that he has won many prestigious trophies with Bayern, so I don't think there is any reason for Lewandowski go to other klub, the only hope that may still be in Lewandowski mind at this time is to win the Ballon d'Or and also a prestigious trophy for his national team, besides that I think now his career at bayer munchen has been very extraordinary.
I guess that he maybe will end his career at Bayern Munich also and take a job behind the scene , I can imagine that very well.
For sure it all depends on what kind of money there he will get and maybe there is some other Club want him even he is still one of the older players.
But yes he is an icone since he was getting to Bayern Munich with all the things he has done for them.
Yes, I didn't even realize before that Lewandowski came from Dortmund. Lewandowski is indeed old, but that doesn't mean he will choose to retire quickly because even Messi and Ronaldo are older than Lewandowski and they are still actively involved in the team. I personally would have preferred for Lewandowski to end his career here at Bayern Munich but yeah, we won't know either because there is probably a better offer out there for Lewandowski and he is willing. Basically, the Bundesliga is still suitable for players of Lewandowski's age as well, so I think allowing Lewandowski to continue playing in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich would also be fine.

Lewandowski can score wherever he goes. But considering his age I think ok, he should stay in Bayern Munich. And I don't think a retirement is an option in his mind right now as he is still scoring like he is in his prime. But honestly, if he goes in some other League he will have much better competition in League games.

I wonder whether Lewandowski will decide to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season. As far as I remember, there were some rumours in the last transfer window like he would be open to offers from big clubs. And Real Madrid were the most speculated team to sign him. But he wanted to stay and play for at least one more year here. But this summer, things could change for him I guess. Real Madrid wouldn't turn the opportunity of getting him down I guess. He is still one of the greatest strikers of his time. And he can still perform at a high level for some more years.
I don't think it will be a good idea for Lewandoskii to leave Bayern Munich. I mean, Lewandoskii is 33 years old and he is not getting any younger. He next step should probably be retirement. Although, he is indeed still a great striker despite he age. And Real Madrid will gladly sign him, only if he agrees to leave Munich. However, the polish player sometime back talked about him leaving Bayern in order to face new challenges, but it seems Bayern never wanted to sign him out. Anyway, he contract with Bayern will expire in 2023.

It is hard to get Haaland when you already have Lewandowski. It is not a bad replacement at all, it is by far probably the best they could ever hope for, but there could be some overlap and that would be the biggest problem.

I understand that some people may not like to see Haaland move to another team and would want Bayern to get him somehow but be realistic, how could you have both Lewa and Haaland playing at the same time? That would be a big problem for them and that is why I believe that they will fail to get him. Some other team, a big name team who can offer a lot of money like city or Madrid could get Haaland, play him at starting eleven 90 minutes a game as long as he can and pay him a stupid amount of salary.

^ I don't understand why Bayern Munich is trying to basically eliminate any chances of any other teams beating them are even having a competition with them. Well, I actually understand but my question is why??? It's not fun if there is no competition at all. And realistically speaking I don't think they will actually go for Halland. And Halland should also stay in my opinion.

Many Bayern Munich fans hope that Lewandowski will stay at Bayern until the end of his career, because after all Bayern Munich fans love Lewandowski so much, and during his time at Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has managed to help Bayern Munich win seven Bundesliga titles, three DFB Pokal titles, and one Champions League title.
@hahay, I agree with what you're saying, because it's better for Lewandowski to stay in the Bundesliga, because we know that the Bundesliga isn't as competitive as other leagues like the English Premier League, and at 33 years old it would be difficult for him to force himself to play in a tough league like the English league.

I think that, firstly, you underestimate Bayern and both Borussias, and secondly, you should keep statistics on the accuracy of your predictions. I often see them in different threads, but I'm lazy enough to check them back later, although I would love to take a look at your success at a good distance.

But one aspect from the perspective of Bayern is true: even if Lewandowski performs so well right now and probably will perform well for another two or so years, they already have to deal with a potential successor. The older players get, the more they are injured. Imagine Lewandowski gets heavily injured and missed four months or so. That would be a hell of a scenario for Bayern during a season. Salihamidciz already said that they are watching out for Haaland.

It is quite a challenge and a hard decision to make for the bayern officials at the moment regarding the future of Lewandowski in their club. In recent years Lewandowski said a lot of times, that he wants a new challenge and stuff like that and he even hired a new agent a few years ago in order to make a transfer to another Club happening, but Bayern always managed to make him stay with a higher salary. Now it seems like the odds have changed a little. After this season Bayern can have haaland for 75 m € and i think they will definitely try to get him for that.
I don't think Lewandowski will leave easily, he also has to consider at his age that he is no longer young, at least Lewandowski will only think about his retirement. Challenge at Bayern Munich itself I think is good enough, because most players want a consistent club to be in the UCL, so with Lewandowski staying at Bayern Munich I think that is enough for him at this age.

That is what i was trying to say. I think that now Lewandowski is very happy to play for bayern and that he is now also appreciating what Bayern Munich is giving him. He has a chance to win the Champions League almost every year and munich is also a great place to live.
I just think that the Bayern officials maybe want to sell Lewandowski now because after this season they could get haaland for only 75 M€ because of a clause in his contract and i think Bayern wants to take that opportunity.

Lewandowski seems will have no further career at bayern munich , his golden age has passed .

there is no sufficient talent to replace him at the club except for acquring an instant talent from dortmund which its like has become a tradition to pick dortmund best player every damn year lol.
and yeah speaking about bundesliga title contenders .. everyone would of course love to see leipzig to lift the bundesliga trophy , but they still inconsitent , a hard work needed.
LOL. How did you come to this conclusion? Using a calendar? Lewandowski is not young, it is obvious, but he still has several years left when he will play at his usual level (and this level is fantastic), I would not be surprised if Lewandowski gets the golden ball in this or any of the following years.
It is clear to me that there is a problem with age guessing and when players will be bad these days. Back in the day (literally when I was young, not too long ago, 10-15 years ago) players would retire at age 30-35 range, I have seen people either retire at 30, or just go to very worse teams than their peak. I remember so many players who at the age of Lewa is right now, ended up becoming coaches, assistant coaches and even managers. So right now our understanding of age has changed a lot, Ibrahimovic is almost getting to 41 and he is still scoring goals like it is nothing.

Ronaldo is what 36 soon to be 37? Dude is one of the best players in the world even at that age, Lewa is scoring goals better than anyone else at his age. So yeah, I understand people expecting them to get worse, I would too if I am 30 years old or more like me, because we have seen players become horrible at that age when we were young, now they are getting to their peak at that age, it is a little confusing.

This is true and by now there is a good couple of examples that have proven to still be competitive at very high ages. There is Ibrahimovic, there is Ronaldo who will still be playing in three years from now, then there is Buffon of course. Even Matthäus back in the days or Maldini. Pirlo is another example. I am of the impression that Lewandowski can play at an absolute top level for a couple of years more.
Thats treu, in lewandowski,s position the age is not really a big matter and we have too many examples, the best one is Ibrahimovic as you can see that he still scoring and doing great in almost every league that he played in, lewandowski case will not be different in my opinion

I totally agree Lewandowski has yet at at least 2 - 3 year’s of top football left in him, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he extended it to 5 year’s or more. However I’m kinda disappointed as he wants to continue playing at Bayern only, because I felt that this is best time for him to make a move to Manchester City or Manchester United or probably even Real Madrid.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Bayern Munich are in a very comfortable position right now, winning matches back to back. They've got a team that is ready to win,and contend for any challenge.
They are strong and don't lose their ambition to win Bundesliga. They more focus on Champions League but Bundesliga is something like a must-achieved task for them in every season. With strong resources they have, it is a big failure if they can not win Bundesliga.

Quote
With Robert Lewandowski in the team scoring goals on daily basis, the team can go any length to winning trophies. The chemistry among the players and how they understand each other is one of the key to their success.
This season can be the last one Lewandowsky plays for Bayern Munich and he will try to end it with titles. It can help him to get a long new contract with Bayern. He can have a better position in the coming deal with Bayern if he shows excellent performance in this season.

Bayern will do miss Lewandowsky if he leaves. They have many good strikers in history but above all, Lewandowsky is amongst the greatest strikers in their history, only behind Gerd Mueller.

Bayern München will start the week and I expect them to win comfortably. I wonder why they let these teams play on Friday, international matches would be barely over and they have a lot of selected players. We probably won't see them in the pitch in this match due to long flights. I still expect an easy win for Bayern, possibly with more than three goals margin. Over 2.5 goals odd is very low, we may try over 3.5 goals and away team win at the same time. I don't know many betting sites offer this bet though.

Munich is definitely going to win their next game, because the odd given is very small, and they are expected to continue their form even after this game.

@EdenHazard I want to say I don't think that Bundesliga is the most competitive league in Europe. I think the English Premier League has taken that spot. Because a League is nothing without competition and Bayern Munich does not seem to have March of competition right now. But in EPL almost all the teams really good. They got good players innermost all the teams. And there is a reason why the English Premier League attracts more audiences.
Bundles liga is also competitive we might say Bayern is one of the best in bundles liga but doesn't mean they are unbeatable at least they have also lost and drawn matches so it's a bit competitive even though we might say not as the English premier league but there is still a competition in bundles liga
Being competitive doesn't mean that there is a great team up there at the top. Being competitive means either the whole league is better than the other league, and/or it means that competition is more fierce instead of same team winning the league every year. Premier league is getting there, Liverpool and city are dominating for the past 5 years or so I believe and that is way too much.

I believe that premier league needed this United/Chelsea addition and even arsenal is playing well lately. However I definitely believed that if at the end of the season each position played the counterpart then Premier league will win. Like 1st will play 1st, 12th plays 12th and so forth, 2 additional at epl if I am not wrong so leave them aside. I would say EPL would win easily.

Lewandowski is like Ibra and Ronaldo. They are all very professional and did not have too many serious injuries in their career. So they can have long career than others.

Messi is different and more similar to Robben. They both were vulnerable with injuries when they were young. Then they changed their playing style and play smarter to avoid tackles from defenders. Robben and Messi evolved a lot and have less injuries later on.

Lewandowski is still top striker so he won't like the offer of Bayern to resign his contract each year. He want a new contract that gives him a chance to end his career safely, with good salary. If Bayern won't give him such offer, I believe he will leave.

I wouldn't be surprised if his manager was behind the rumors we're talking about. Wink I'm sure his team is working on increasing the amount of his contract as high as possible. Of course it would be best for him and his career to stay with Bayern, but I agree with what you write - if there is a team that gives him a lot more, it is possible he will leave. But to tell you the truth, I don't want him to do that, because if it is an English or Spanish league, that style of play may not suit him at all.
