I wonder how big the gap between Dortmund and Bayern Munich will be until Erling Haaland bounces back from his injury.
Haaland is a great player and an asset of Dortmund. His contribution for Dortmund is huge but please don't exaggerate the with Haaland, Dortmund will automatically fight against Bayern better. Last season, with healthy Haaland, Dortmund still fell far behind Bayern on the table sot the same gap can happen in this season even if Dortmund have a healthy Haaland.

Quote
For now, he is expected to come back in mid December. There were some rumours like he wouldn't be back before the new year. But it turns out that he can. He is their biggest player when it comes to scoring in the end. Being deprived of him, they are having more problems. For example, maybe they would have won against Leipzig or got at least a point if he was able to play.
This is only rumor but this injury and rumor reminds us about the risk of overuse young players. Many young players lost their career because of serious injuries. Walcott, Wilshere in Premier League are examples. They never came back to their best after recovery from injuries. Dortmund and Haaland have to take care of health condition for Haaland and how he should play, take rest at the right time.

If his body is not fine, the club should give him break time to recover.

You have a good point there that Dortmund couldn't get close to Bayern Munich till the end of the season. Dortmund weren't even at the second place and there was a gap of 14 points between them and Bayern Munich. Haaland scored 27 goals in that season of Bundesliga. I must admit that Dortmund are playing much better as a team this season. In the end, they can't win titles being dependent on Haaland only.

When it comes to the injury topic, I hope that Haaland doesn't come back as a weaker player. He is going to be out for quite a long time in the end. But I believe in him to continue from where he left. He is a very special player and none of us would like to see him losing his perfect performance.

Reus just publicly announced that he is convinced Dortmund will become the next champion.... Hm, as much as I like Dortmund, but that is not going to happen. Will see when they face each other in a couple of weeks.

Regarding the injury, no, Haaland is a different type of player and he is also much more robust than the players you mentioned. He isn't really the kind of guy who get injured because of a tackle as he has a very strong physique. He is going to come back even stronger. I have no doubt about that.

When looking at Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo, and Messi, both are all still sharp on the front, Lewandowski is still on performance and the same as I mentioned but he is still possible to move on to another club when Bayern won't his service. Dortmund still has the treasure, that club still creates the best forward (Halland). but for this time they don't want to concede like past with labeling with high prices to block he moves also to Bayern.
Lewandowski is like Montella or Inzaghi in Italy and Serie A in 1990 to 2010 period. They are great strikers but in that period, Serie A and Italy have so many outstanding attacking players: Baggio, Totti, Del Piero, Vieri and some foreigner players like Ronaldo Nazario de Lima. Consequently Inzaghi and Montella struggled to find a position in Italy squad.

The similar story for Lewandowski and Ibrahimovic, they are one of best strikers in history but because he unfortunately plays in the period of Messi and Ronaldo, he has yet been recognized as what he deserves to get.

This guy is getting by the age better and better, people who say he's done in 2 years have no clue. He has similar fitness conditions as CR7 and he will be 2-3 years still in his Prime. Lewandowski is a gem. Right now, There is no point for Robert Lewandowski to leave Bayern at this point of his career . He's already 33 , he should stay at Bayern where the team revolves around him . If he leaves now , he might have to adapt to a new system which isn't always a recipe for success considering he's serving his twilight years

Lewandowski seems will have no further career at bayern munich , his golden age has passed .

there is no sufficient talent to replace him at the club except for acquring an instant talent from dortmund which its like has become a tradition to pick dortmund best player every damn year lol.
and yeah speaking about bundesliga title contenders .. everyone would of course love to see leipzig to lift the bundesliga trophy , but they still inconsitent , a hard work needed.

LOL. How did you come to this conclusion? Using a calendar? Lewandowski is not young, it is obvious, but he still has several years left when he will play at his usual level (and this level is fantastic), I would not be surprised if Lewandowski gets the golden ball in this or any of the following years.

@EdenHazard I want to say I don't think that Bundesliga is the most competitive league in Europe. I think the English Premier League has taken that spot. Because a League is nothing without competition and Bayern Munich does not seem to have March of competition right now. But in EPL almost all the teams really good. They got good players innermost all the teams. And there is a reason why the English Premier League attracts more audiences.
The league is only one club that always wins the league champion, in contrast to the English EPL club where all teams play almost the same game, and every match can't be guessed, because all teams have surprises, even the bottom teams can beat the top teams, that's what the reason many viewers in my country choose to watch epl over other leagues..

I dont think that Lewandowskis golden age has past. He is currently playing for couple of years at the elite level in world football and i think he can go like this for 3-4 more years if he stays at Bayern Munich. He scored over 40+ goals alone just last season. I dont think now that Dortmund would give their best striker to Bayern again like they did in previous years
Perhaps 3-4 years is too much, but he will definitely be able to show the best results in football for several years. look at Mühler, that's a prime example of that, how a player can play regardless of his age. But I will say my opinion that a player can play well when he is on a good team. That is, I believe that Ronaldo could show excellent results if he was still playing for Real Madrid. And now, when he played in Juventus, or plays in Manchester, he cannot be appreciated and his level is lost without great achievements of the club. Everything in this world is relative, and big players need a big team.
Lewandowski is one of the greatest forwarder in the world right now and i believe he can keep doing better in the incoming years as long as he still playing for a club like Bayer munchin, not just him but many other players on that team like ribery robben and lahm that keep doing great even in 37 and 38 age

I feel Bayern Munich have got great plans,he score goal very well but age has a role to play, mostly reducing a players strength.
Bayern should be aiming to get halland from Dortmund this will be a perfect move for Bayern....... having an exciting player has halland is a dream deal for every club.

It was already said in the media that Raiola is most likely asking around 50 million Euro salary for Haaland. If that is the case I don't see any chance for Bayern to sign Haaland. That is about 2.5 times of what Lewandowski gets. I think if Lewandowski scores over 30 goals in the league again (which is very likely), they are going to keep Lewa for another year at least.

I think if lewdosky still plays for bayern munich i think his form is still good for another 3 to 4 years, but if he moves to another club i can't guarantee lewdosky can play well, because lewdosky and bayern munich are already very united, and they have like brothers in the team.

Do you do your analysis based on data from the whoscored service or independently? If independently, then I would be interested to know how much your rating and rating of the service differ (and of course which one is the most effective, but it takes a long distance to understand this).

This is an independent analysis, and not just based on the standings, but with the current team situation, stats, and injured or suspension, yes I know I still have a long way in understanding this, but I am just making assumptions on what information I can get, if you don't like what I have posted then I respect that, and take this as a grain of salt,

Yupp , international break cost us two weeks without great entertainment at the weekend , such a not really interesting to see international matches especially if it was for friendly or a long qualification matches only. our entertainment thing feel like robbed.

speaking about those key players who missing out due injury it seems so far so good , they are performing well to play without their stars.
bundesliga is the most competitive league in europe despite bayern munich in recent years dominating season after season but the matches is something else! there often goal galore occurred though and the points gap also pretty competitive.

I just love Bundesliga than watching the international league I am just more interested in Bundesliga that is all, and maybe they are doing this because of so many players that are getting injured, and I think it can surely benefit those teams that have multiple injured players,

I try not to just look at Bayern Munich so much because they are pretty much overrated, that is why supporting Dortmund, Leipzig, or Leverkusen just to change the pace, and teams that are making progress with their performance was likely what I like, but highly unlikely I really it is still OK for me if Bayern could still get the championship this season because they pretty much show domination over the 1st division and not relying mostly on Lewandowski.

This is only rumor but this injury and rumor reminds us about the risk of overuse young players. Many young players lost their career because of serious injuries. Dortmund and Haaland have to take care of health condition for Haaland and how he should play, take rest at the right time.
If his body is not fine, the club should give him break time to recover.

Erling Haaland is a great young player who has a lot of days in front of him. He is a really valuable player for Dortmund and Dortmund should treat him that way. But I honestly think that there's nowadays should train harder. Because players nowadays are becoming more injury-prone than before. So my suggestion is to train harder so the actual match becomes easier. That way there will be fewer injuries and players will also get more Max time and also stay fit for longer.
He miss many important match for Dortmund because got injury and left about three or five months later back to the field, I think he need to work hard and keep on the top performance after back from injury, many potential player hard back to the top performance after got injury but we can see how hard working from Haaland and back again with fantastic goal. I want to see Haaland can play on primer league and  how many goal can make?

Looking at the table yes Bayern has performed well in this league and is a strong competitor for Dortmund. And checking on the number of goals, Bayern has scored more goals than Dortmund. Bayern has scored even 12 goals against Bremer SV with 12:0 which is really mind blowing. Yes Dortmund has to perform so good if they face Bayern at the final.

Bayern Munich have performed very well this season, seen from the productivity of the goals they recorded, they managed to score 40 goals and conceded 11 goals while Dortmund only scored 28 goals and conceded 17 goals.

and it looks like in the next Bayern Munich match, they will win easily because they will be against a bottom team who are in the relegation zone. the more the gap points between Bayern Munich and its competitors will be.

I'm afraid of the probability again that Bayern Munich would just pull away from all of the rest of the teams at some point and get another comfortable Bundesliga title. I'm really sick of seeing this so far.  Grin  I believe that it is time for making some change. And when I look at the teams about which of them can do this, I see Dortmund at the top of this list. Maybe Freiburg are also in a very good shape but I don't think that they are capable of maintaining a strong form till the end of the season. Dortmund seem to be the only team capable thanks to especially Haaland.

At the same time, I'd really like to see them strengthening their defensive line in January to be more solid there. Because they have conceded 17 goals in 11 league games so far. And this caused them to lose the games they could have won normally too. They are very good at scoring but they need to improve their defense too. Otherwise, it wouldn't be surprising to see Bayern Munich making it to the championship one more time like they always do.

I think Bayern will beat the league champion and it is simply because they don't have enough competitions. Sure Dortmund can cause some problems here and there for Bayern but one team can only cause so many problems. This mainly happens because of the money situation of other teams as they cannot go for the star players looking at their money balance. Better teams will be better players and the smaller teams cannot reject the offer looking at the money because they do need the money after all. So unless Bayern Munich faces enough hard opponents they will continue in their winning ways.

The heat of competition in the title race until the end of the season has made it one of the main attractions of the premier league so far compared to other leagues, financial strength is one of the main factors driving other clubs to be able to compete with top clubs and we don't find this in the bundesliga so far, maybe apart from Bayern Munich, only Dortmund have a balanced financial position in their team, but unfortunately this has not been enough to destroy Bayern Munich dominance in the Bundesliga so far.
If the teams in the Bundesliga can be more open and there are no regulations to curb free-entry foreign investment, I think there is a possibility that the teams in the Bundesliga will get a strong financial boost to enter the next transfer market.
a strong team like Munich is not in doubt of its finances. but we can learn from Leicester in the 2016 premier league. Being a champion with a team that is fairly mediocre without star players they can achieve. and I think teams in the league can be like Leicester who proved that champions don't always belong to those who have money and star players.

The 50+1 rule (shares must be controlled by non-commercial or non-profit parties) which has been adopted by German football has certainly made too many restrictions on large-scale investments by oil tycoons or conglomerate entrepreneurs, with the excuse of preventing groups of supporters from losing their bargaining position in club decision making, this regulation is what triggers Middle Eastern investors to be reluctant to invest in clubs in the Bundesliga.
In my opinion, what happens to Leicester is very rare and maybe we need to wait another 10 seasons to see a team like Leicester champions again with a modest squad.
Germany indirectly at least makes things like this so that football and clubs are not only regulated by one person and fans can contribute to their favorite club.
in terms of football this is a pretty good thing but not for business so rarely there are investors from Arab countries and tycoons who glance at the team here.
Leicester on the other hand is a rare miracle. and i agree with what you said something like this will happen very rarely and probably something like this will not happen even a decade from now i doubt something like this will happen again
