I don't want to imagine how statistics on new infected cases will be reported next 2 weeks and whether such things will affect the other major leagues (Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A, as well as the Champions League and Europa League).
The number of infections will probably rise again soon. But as long as no player has been present at the demonstrations, the risk of infection among players is quite low.

The decision to return to the field in the Covid-19 situation in phases (Bundesliga, La Liga Premier League Champions League) is a big challenge for the league authorities. However, they have ensured safety for the players. They have also made some changes to the rules on the field. I think the major leagues can change their decision only if the corona situation does not worsen globally.

So Shalke 04 has the worst period of the last 50 years with 0 victories in the last 13 or 14 games which is hard to believe. For me is not so surprising as Shalke was fighting relegation a couple of years ago and since then they had a good year followed by a bad year and so on until this year when they kind start well. I was in 2012 at Shalke Steaua at Cluj Napoca in Romania and I remember the hole stadium stood up and cheering for Raul Gonzales. Anyway, I hope Shalke will find those 3 points this weekend.

They had a team that doesn't deserve to fight for the relegation.
They should be competing for a position in the Europa League at least. The team is safe they will not be relegated but they do not had as an initial goal not to hit the Europa league positions.

And the award for the most ugly jersey of the season 2020/2021 goes to..... Borussia Dortmund!

At least it's only the special jersey, but this jersey definitely doesn't belong here: The most beautiful football jersey ever?   Cheesy

Not your keys, not your coins!
The world in 2020 is very uncertain. We have seen so many unexpected things come to us, from the contagious virus pandemic, the gradually escalating war between the US. and China, to the latest worldwide demonstrations "Black lives matter" after the sudden death of George Floyd. No one can be sure about anything for the rest months of this year. I think people who have loves with the Bundesliga would feel so happy because the leagues was resumed weeks ago. With the demonstrations, the risks to see a second waves of virus outbreaks is higher than ever before.

I don't want to imagine how statistics on new infected cases will be reported next 2 weeks and whether such things will affect the other major leagues (Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A, as well as the Champions League and Europa League).

Looks like Saarbrücken hasnt got any chance against Leverkusen yesterday , havnt seen the game and just read it.
Also i guess we will see the final Bayern Munich vs Leverkusen and i hope that Leverkusen will win that.
But we all know that Bayern maybe has that luck and win that also.

I haven’t watch the game either. It must have been a great disadvantage for Saarbrücken to play without an audience.
With the loud support of the fans the result might have been different.

i also think that bayern munich (with a top daily form) will win the dfp cup this year as well... Undecided
a lot would have to fit and happen for bayer leverkusen to get a chance

and by the way here is my tip for today
bayern - frankfurt 4:1

Also, Leverkusen are 2-0 in less than 30min...first finalist of the Pokal confirmed!

yeah, they scored third one as well, maybe one or two more until the end
think that final with Bavarians could be interesting enough to watch, and would not set Leverkusen chances to zero

So, a few weeks ago Bayern won 5-2 against Frankfurt in the league. There's a rematch tomorrow in the DFB Pokal. Can we expect a similar result tomorrow? I kinda want to add this one to my bet slip but i'm not sure:

Poor Bayern, it has to do 2 rematch with Frankfurt then Leverkusen. Beating them over and over in a couple of weeks isn't interesting  Tongue
/serious: I think Leverkusen will try its best to get da cup and get a revenge from Bayern

Not only that Schalke did not win in the last 12 games, during that period they scored only 4 goals. Incredible statistic, just for comparison they conceded 26.

They have drawn 5 and lost 7, collecting 5 out of possible 36 points. Form like that throughout the season would put them at last position, with 14 points collected throughout the whole season.

yeah, they have miserable second part of the season, Koeln had miserable first part of the season, and both will finish season in the middle of the table
that is the usual case with middle table teams, and Schalke is heading to be one of these teams without ambitions, they were much better before, i remember when they signed Raul from Real, but that is long history now - Gelsenkirchen is also in downward route, since heavy industry is not priority for new green Germany, and support for the club is diminishing

^ Yeah sacking him with 4 games really is wierd. But according to this: https://bulinews.com/news/5372/hoffenheim-part-company-with-head-coach-alfred-schreuder they had disagreement over their plans and views and couldn't place themselves to work out with each other anymore around I guess. His brother and assistant Dick Schreuder also left.

Look at that. Hoffenheim has dismissed his trainer, Alfred Schreuder. Must be the last straw to at least finish at the sixth place in the table.

Don't know if that was really the issue here because I don't think they planned reaching the UEFA Europa League at any cost. I was surprised when I heard the news because point-wise he did a great job imo. They lost some key players before the season with Amiri, Joelinton, Schultz, Demirbay. And on top of that he had to fill in the shoes of Nagelsmann. Not the easiest task for a new coach. Sure Hoffenheim didn't play that amazingly well and their games were sometimes hard to watch (from the games I have seen) but they could've atleast let him finish the season. Because sacking him now with only 4 matches left in the season and still a great chance to reach the Europa League is just weird. But I think that's business.

It is not about who you face, it is about the momentum most of the time. Werder has a very bad momentum right now and that means they may not be able to win no matter who they face.

I remember Watford like that, on the first half of the season they lost to whoever they played, doesn't matter who it was they were losing to almost everyone, something happened and a switch went off and for like 5-6 games they didn't lose, either got a tie or a win and suddenly even got out of relegation zone when they were insanely low, had like 9 points in 12 games and 12 points in 6 or so. That is the situation for Werder Bremen, if they actually fight tooth and nail and get back and have a good momentum, of course they could get out of the relegation zone, but if momentum continues like this, they could lose all the remainder games.

For Shalke 04 good thing is they are middle of table and have nothing to worry but for next 4 matches all are very difficult for them and they have very slim chance to have points from these matches in next match they are going to face ruthless Leverkusen and they will try their betst to destroy them then they have to face frankfurt which is also not good place for them but they have time to think about this and have some good in nex season.
Schalke 0 is ruining the fun and everyone's bet. Here is how I feel the next couple of games for them:
Schalke 0 - Leverkusen. It will be a training mode for Bayer
Eintracht - Schalke 0. Cmon boys we should win dat game = result oO
Schalke 0 - Wolfsbourg. Shit Wolfsbourg is a good team
Freibourg - Schalke 0. What's the point of winning such game? Let's keep our awesome (0) record.
