we do not have matches today, but tomorrow Bremen has a match with Frankfurt, that could pull them off the relegation zone, in case of win, or even get them on position 15, in case of four goal win (do not expect that)
Frankfurt was miserable after the break, although won last match in Wolfsburg, and i would probably bet on Bremen, although do not expect that they will win easily, since they have only one win at home this season (is that serious for Bundesliga team), over Augsburg on September, 01 last year, what a pity home balance for them, and it will be heavier without fans
Bremen has to win since it will help them getting out of the relegation zone, in addition they aren't that bad at least after the break. Although Frankfurt looks a little bit better but I am supporting Bremen, hope they will win tomorrow.

Werner is just all around a good player, he could have great games or he could have bad games, but when you look at his avarages, dude could not do anything for 89 minutes and then just show up one possesion, go around everyone and score like its nothing, and continue to do nothing after that. He is just purely a very talented player, and a great scorer as well. Liverpool deal does sound great but after all the champions league winning and almost premier league unbeaten (watford out of all teams...) liverpool should probably look for a superstar name. Not saying Werner is not good, but I am talking about like Mbappe level of player, Cristiano Ronaldo if he was a bit younger, I am talking about otherworldly superstar for a striker to take that team to any higher level even if its possible to be better for them.

Leipzig is really playing great, always with a high tempo, lots of goals and an attacking mentality.

From the 3 clubs fighting for the last CL spot it really is hard to exclude 1 team, but I'd prefer Leipzig and Bayer over Monchengladbach.

Werner on the scoresheet again, I really hope he signs for Liverpool. They'd be a great fit.

I saw the goal and it was a standard one, but the highlights show him missing two very easy chances and crossing quite bad in the second half,,, of course I did not see the whole game so cannot tell his performance but it appears he at least knows how to convert 1 goal. To get into Liverpool is less about high goals than teamwork, I guess he converts to that type of player.

If City lose it, Angelino might not go back to Etihad Stadium, and rather would choose to stay in Leipzig or move to another club that play in UCL next season. I won't be surprised if Munich decide to bring him next season.

I think Leipzig is the best. He is getting some good playing amount of time. It's not like he didn't used to have in Manchester City but he is getting better play time in Leipzig and will have better future as well with the best option that Leipzig has in terms of left back. Plus also Leipzig also love the commitment he puts inside the game. He is also young and we all know Bundesilga is best for youngsters to develop and find good amount of playing minutes. It would be wonderful for him. Could happen though but all depends on how ban appeal goes (like you said). Also Man City are willing to negotiate regarding the buy-out clause and Leipzig are also keen to get him on their team on permanent.

Today, Werder Bremen vs Eintracht Frankfurt, same pick, same result? Nah, gonna avoid this game and wait for the next matchweek.
Me too. But the game is tomorrow .  Wink
I'm not betting on this game. This game is important for both teams. Bremen can get the 16th place in the table and even close to 15th. Frankfurt has to win to get a bit out of reach to the 16th place.

Angelino is really a great player. He can play left back and go up and fit in as left mid is really impressive. He is young also and have a good future ahead. Before the loan he was also playing good in Manchester City with some good passes and threatening crosses sometimes.

Right now here is the latest news: https://www.transfermarkt.co.in/angelino-wants-to-return-to-manchester-city-rb-leipzig-have-buy-on-clause/view/news/358399 . The loan has buy-out clause of 30 million for Angelino which the director says they wouldn't be able to afford. Also he also wants to return to City.
True mate, he is indeed one of the best left back players in Bundesliga rn. I'm not sure why City loan him to RB Leipzig when Mendy and Zinchenko are not playing in their best shape atm. I do even think Laporte playing better in left back position than both of them. Regarding Angelino's future, I think it totally depends on how the City's appeal about the ban they get in Champions League. If City lose it, Angelino might not go back to Etihad Stadium, and rather would choose to stay in Leipzig or move to another club that play in UCL next season. I won't be surprised if Munich decide to bring him next season.

Btw. Great game by Angeliño. Is it already decided if he will go back to Man City after the loan?

Have seen the first half of the match Leipzig against Cologne and it wasnt good to watch.
Sadly it wasnt possible for me to watch the second half where the most action was happend.
And I think if the player Cordoba hasnt been injured, the game would have taken a different course maybe.
But my bet was right so all is good.

Also love the way Leipzig is playing they have their signature game for couple of seasons now. They are definitely number 3 in Bundesliga for me, better squad and better to watch than Bayer and Gladbach. Especially if you look consistency of results. If I had a way to make a bet that Leipzig will have more points then Bayer and Gladbach in the next 3 seasons I would put my house on it Smiley

Bayer is always missing something, they play few games really well and they loose few games in a row against week sides. At the moment they are great because Kai Havertz is playing out of this world. Gladbach is a good team but they are mainly counter attacking squad.

Werner on the scoresheet again, I really hope he signs for Liverpool. They'd be a great fit.

I have never really started to like Werner. He is young, fast and moves rather well without the ball but every time I am watching him he misses a couple of great chances. Maybe it is just a case of me watching him in the wrong games. But same could be said for Salah as well so I guess Liverpool knows how to use that kind of players.

Koln was leading then Leipzig scored at 20' by Pschik and it just scored now by Nkunku after a shitty defence failure. 2-1 for Leipzig for now
BTW koln goal was  Roll Eyes

That was a quite a game to see! It was a goal fest and If Leipzig were clinical enough they could score at least 2 goals more even in closing minutes.

Leipzig eventually lived up to expectations, after they went behind I wasn't thinking this could another night like the one against Freiburg, but their attitude was great the goal and overall it was a well deserved 3 points.
With koln leading 1-0, i was thinking that Leipzig will ruin the day again but with the 2 goals in the first half i said oh well congrats. Didn't watch the second half but seems interesting with 3 goals.
At least things are still interesting between Leipzig, Leverkusen and M'Gladbach for the 3rd and 4th place especially  Smiley

These games didn't looked like players gave such a huge break, it basically shows the talent levels of the top teams versus the bottom teams, nobody really outplayed their position after the break or nobody underplayed neither, everyone played like they normally play.

I was expecting some shocking results after the break because it would be basically a summer break type of difference and when teams come back from the break they usually play differently and everyone finds their groove after a while but it looks like that wasn't the case for this time around. The league basically continued from where it left off. I think this is a sentiment for the teams who normally play with talent instead of just momentum, and this showed how talent overshadows momentum each time.

I had a very little leeway in terms of goals scored in the second half, kinda glad the game score stayed 2:4, intense final 30 something minutes for me Grin

You indeed are unstoppable  Shocked

It's just the first day of a new month, perhaps you should gamble more this month, Lambo could be just around the corner, who knows Wink

Really fun game to watch as a neutral fan. Even though there is this controversy around Leipzig because of their Red Bull money in Germany, I like the way how they plays and mostly enjoy their matches. It never gets boring when they play and I can't wait for their matchup against Dortmund.

I just wish Werner would've scored at least one more time  Undecided Now he has to work the miracle and score 5 goals more than Lewandowski.

Btw. Great game by Angeliño. Is it already decided if he will go back to Man City after the loan?

I don't trust Leipzig that much in games just like Schalke. Their performance are unpredictable and laggy.

Me too and specialy when they playing today against Cologne , as they have shown that the last 2 match days that they can come back in a few minutes before the match is over.
I would say Leipzig win that and have my bet on them , but we can see possible the same result from Cologne and maybe they win too .
All is possible at the moment in the German League.
