I always like when my bets are against general opinion so I have high hopes for my bet of both to score for tonight. Actually, it is not so much against you guys since result of 1:1 makes both my bet and yours under 2.5 goals winning choices.

Given my Bundesliga record after the restart this game will probably finish as 4:0 for Freiburg, that is probably the result I least expect tonight.

I think I'll follow that under 2,5 goals call as well. Freiburg is having a bad streak so they will probably play it safe and Monchengladbach is a reactive team that is desperate for points - they will not want an open, high-scoring game.

As long as Freiburg does not score early, I think it is a good bet to take. The odds support the risk/reward ratio.

I would go with both team to score and over 3.5 goals at Freiburg / Gladbach. Both team are in search for those 3 points and since Budesliga returned we have a lot of goals so I don't think this will be any different. Personally I would love Gladbach to take 3 points as Freiburg beat my german favorite Werder Bremen yesterday without any mercy 3/0.

Actually it was Frankfurt that has won against Bremen. Freiburg lost their last game against Bremen a couple of days ago.

But now back to the match Freiburg - Gladbach. I don't really think that we will see many goals in this game. Sure, the first leg was 4-2 for Gladbach. That's a point but I expect Streich to trust the same players that started against Leverkusen last week (Imo Heintz, Lienhart and Koch are the best centre backs Freiburg has. I don't know why Streich lets Gulde play that often.). And in that game the Freiburg defensive was really on point. IIRC they only allowed a total of seven shots, from which only the one were on target. If they manage to repeat a similar performance, Gladbach will have a hard time scoring.

after corona break, Freiburg has two draws away and two loses at home, i think that it will be too much to lose third game at home in a row, but it is just pure statistics that i do not like to bet against
on the other hand, do not like M'Gladbach, so would not bet on them
think that under 2.5 is good option on this match, but we can draw conclusion that in many matches there is a lot of goals in last 15 minutes, because players are out of form at the moment

Statistics sais that Frieburg is a hard nut to brake at home, and Borussia M’gladbach is scoring less goals on their away games, even receives less goals on away games (before covid statistics)
So it’s a high risk tip to bet but I will try the Under 2.5 goals scored @2.35

Also can someone here have a clue why Hoffeinheim don't deliver corners or don't play on flanks ? I mean they barely have 1 or 2 corners every game...and I remember them some years ago with that super offensive style when they had goals/corners and a lot of scoring chances. What happened with that style ?

I just saw that Werder lost 3-0 at home yesterday. What a rollercoaster team, they give themselves a chance to stay up and then lose one of the easiest remaining fixtures without even scoring.

Monchengladbach needs a win tomorrow to put some pressure on Leverkusen. They want them to need to play for a win against Bayern.

^Gladbach has to win this game, it is vital for them to get 3 points and they will play accordingly, plus they have returned for a while now, players must be in shape already, I do not believe any team that has an excuse of "we were on a break for too long so players are rusty" anymore, that was valid for a while but right now they have played a bunch of games already, they should not be rusty and they should be winning.

On the other hand Gladbach has been decent since they returned, with one loss, one tie, and two wins, they are not doing that bad, I think they have what it takes to beat Freiburg tomorrow. If they can achieve that 3 points I believe they are going to be ahead of Leverkusen a lot. Only if they could have also won against them, they would have taken the point difference to a new level.

Freiburg has won the last 13 Games since 2003 against Gladbach at home.

Hmm, they certainly have an impressive record against Gladbach at home, but they didn't win 13 in a row:
Yes, you are right. I meant in the last 13 they didn't lost a game. But according to your table, Freiburg lost the game Number 13th. I cannot find the article where I have read it. Maybe it was a DFB Pokal Game?
But anyway, it is a black series for Gladbach.

actually you can not take statistics on any games now. because the strong homeclubs, like Freiburg, Schalke, Union Berlin,... have achieved many points thanks to his fans
now the fans are gone and you are playing in front of empty ranks - so i see Mönchengladbach as a very high favorite in this game

ML @1.80 right now. Not bad considering that Freiburg haven't won a single game since football action returned, (...)

Hehe, yes, but Freiburg not winning tomorrow doesn't necessarily mean that Gladbach wins, because you still have that nasty draw Tongue Freiburg lost to top teams Leverkusen and drew @Leipzig, which is ok, drew at @Frankfurt after leading 3-1, which is ok result too. That 0-1 loss at home to Bremen was poor though. But you can see, that Freiburg is very competitive and the pure results are probably a bit misleading.

Freiburg is 6-2-6 at home, so they lose 43% of their home games. Gladbach is 7-3-4 away, so they win 50% of their matches when travelling. H2H favours Freiburg. This is just stats though and with a gun to my head, I would take Gladbach too. Even without a gun to my head, I would pick them, but I want some better odds for them and I think I can get them inplay. The pressure is with Gladbach, because this is a super huge game for them. Freiburg is sitting comfortably in the middle of the pack knocking at the EL places, but they will be happy with just not relegating - like they always are. Gladbach is lacking some killer mentality for me and it wouldn't surprise me to see them fold under this pressure Wink

Freiburg has won the last 13 Games since 2003 against Gladbach at home.
How many of those games were behind closed doors?  Grin  no fans = no home advantage

Odds for Gladbach are too low all things considered imo, but will wait for inplay.
ML @1.80 right now. Not bad considering that Freiburg haven't won a single game since football action returned, and Gladbach have been pretty decent lately. Btw, Thuram has scored in 3 out of 4 games...Marcus Thuram anytime goalscorer @2.18 at the time of writing, just saying =P

Tomorrow Fribourg vs M'Gladbach, your thoughts boys? I think M'Gladbach gonna win 2-1
Freiburg has won the last 13 Games since 2003 against Gladbach at home. But they haven’t won the last 4 games in the actual Bundesliga season. Gladbach won the last game against Berlin and the first game after the break. Difficult Decision. Both teams are fighting for a better place in the table. It could be a draw at the end.
Yeah it is gonna be a hard game to predict its score. A part from their previous games, Fribourg is quite good team but M'Gladbach has motivation to secure a place in CL qualification especially regarding their next game. Losing this then vs Bayern and later facing Wolfsbourg will be hell of game with too much pressure!

This is a pretty big game for Gladbach. Leverkusen is not very likely to win against Bayern - though they won their last 2 games against them - and with a win at Freiburg, Gladbach could distance Leverkusen with 4 games left. Gladbach themselves is playing Bayern in the next round then, where they most likely won't get any points. So, if they fail to win at Freiburg, it's not looking good for them regarding CL qualification.

Odds for Gladbach are too low all things considered imo, but will wait for inplay. The odds for Leverkusen to get at least 1 point against Bayern look tasty though.

Frankfurt wins. 3:0
Stefan Ilsanker shot the second goal. It only took him 19 seconds after his substitution to shoot a header. It was even his first contact with the ball.
He is so lucky then Smiley
It is unfortunate to see Bremen losing but they still has hope tho.

Today, Werder Bremen vs Eintracht Frankfurt, same pick, same result? Nah, gonna avoid this game and wait for the next matchweek.
Me too. But the game is tomorrow .  Wink
I'm not betting on this game. This game is important for both teams. Bremen can get the 16th place in the table and even close to 15th. Frankfurt has to win to get a bit out of reach to the 16th place.

I think that Werder needs this win more.
I am going to bet on them as they are playing at home as well and on their own pitch.
Eintracht seems to be safe from the relegation zone at the moment.
Not watching the game, just seeing stats. Although Bremen has slightly more possession it received a goal at 61'. Frankfurt leading until now (73') with 1 goal... Too bad for Bremen hope they will score.
Know we are in 82nd minute and Frankfurt leading by 2 goals look like Bremen already give up for this match even they are good in possession and attacks but Frankfurt are better in conversions.
