FC Bayern München - RB Leipzig

After the loss in the German Cup against SV Werder Bremen it is going to be a hard game for Borussia Dortmund against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Borussia Dortmund might lose this game aswell. But the highlight of weekend takes place on Sunday when FC Bayern München will face RB Leipzig. I am pretty confident FC Bayern München will be able to extend its championship lead this weekend.

What do you guys think?

Matchweek 20 kicks off today (Hertha vs Shalke) so, let's bump this thread to the first page.

I'm gonna add this game to my 3 fold acca..thinking maybe going with O2.5 goals, i'm not feeling too confident going with ML. And I wonder if Piatek, Hertha's newest signing, will make his debut today.

Also, 'Leipzig vs Mochengladbach' tomorrow, 1st vs 3rd..should be a fun game to watch.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Leipzig will not be a champion, it is obvious that you shoot so much, but if you cannot put one in the goal then you will score the goal.
don't conclude too quickly..  I'm sure Leipzig will improve itself after their defeat yesterday.  the difference one point from Bayern will certainly make Bayern try to score more wins.. I hope Leipzig doesn't lose again.

Maybe Leipzig was still unlucky against Eintracht even though in possession of the ball Leipzig was superior but did not dominate to win and had to submit to Eintracht.
One point difference of course Bayern will be even more chasing in the next match if Leipzig makes mistakes again then Bayern will be a chance for champions.

Unexpected defeat for Leipzig in this fixture.
Bayern has a difficult game against Schalke but again they are the favorites. They have the chance to close the point gap and reach the first position on 1 point difference.
I hope Leipzig can be more consistent for the next match. Because I haven't seen 3 teams raced for the Bundesliga championship for a long time. If they slip again, the race will only belong to Dortmund and Munich. I have not dared to include Muenchengladbach in the race for Bundesliga champions. Even though they are now ranked third. they are not very consistent in my opinion

Whatever team is against Bayern, he can freeze ice in an instant. Amine Harit was very ineffective in this match, some of his players had to play well, especially if they were playing away, they should have come to the fore a little.

You know what the saddest part is? I mean this kid will eventually have a huge drought of not scoring for a long period of time eventually, every single scorer in history had times when they had hard time scoring, even Ronaldo and Messi who arguably probably best players of this generation probably had times when they didn't scored at all.

What I am afraid about this kid is that he scored so much so quickly and looked to be so ready for full 90 minutes of unleashing a beast that, when that inevitable time period of not scoring happens, he will be labeled as "bust" and people would start to question if all his talents were luck. When that happens there are two types of players, one that doesn't mind and eventually gets back on scoring and keep being a super star (which I believe Haaland will be) and the other who gets crumbled under pressure and actually becomes a bad player because of it, let's hope he is ready for whats about to happen.

He'd probably get subbed on, but I'm not too sure he can continue from he left last week as this game is done and dusted already. However, It would be nice if he can get on the score sheet yet again.
He has already scored 2 after coming on in the 65th minute in place of Thorgan Hazard  Grin Grin. I guess Lewandowski has got a real challenger in terms of goal scoring in the Bundesliga since the departure of Aubameyang.

5 goals in 2 matches after coming on as a sub!!! This is fuckin crazy!

Jadon Sancho was on fire too  in this match
two amazing matches for Erling Haaland. Proof later when against big teams or top ranking in the Bundesliga standings. Because the two previous opponents in my opinion are the teams under Dortmund whose quality. But Haaland has clearly adapted quickly with the Dortmund squad

2 games
5 goals
60 minutes played

That's incredible stats!
He is now scored a goal every 12 minutes!

Manchester United fans must be screaming loud right now seeing haaland on beast mode , they rejected him ridiculously  Grin

That's right, he's becoming unstoppable. He's had 5 goal without playing for up to 90 minutes, Wow!

I saw his first goal for tonight, it would seem just like a tapping in a spilled ball, but to be honest, It was a combination of great positioning, movement without the ball and being very alert if you take a close look at his movements during the build up of the goal.

Matchday today. Dortmund vs Koln.
IT should be another easy win for Dortmund so my bet is going to be an Over 3.5 for getting better odds. I'm curious to see how Haaland is going to perform.
I'm currently watching the match Dortmund vs Koln live streaming, the match hasn't been running for 10 minutes but Dortmund has scored 1 goal.
my prediction..  the final result will end with Dortmund's big win (possibly 3-0).

It's 3 - 0 already and there is still more than 30 minutes left to play. There is surely going to be at least a goal here, It's been all Dortmund for the very first second of the game.

The game is already in 2-0 and Haaland is still on the bench.

Hallands hattrick debut is a proof that he’ll turn into a mega star in coming years, and I won’t be surprised if in two years time some team purchases him for $200 millions. I’m a Manchester United fan and I have no shame in admitting that Halland would have destroyed his career had he moved to Manchester United this season. However having said that I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes to Manchester United at a later stage in his career where we’re finally competing for trophies, but that’ll take quiet a long while so for the time being let’s enjoy seeing him play for Dortmund.
I remember some folks here who said that Halland would flop instantly in Dortmund. I Know that it was just one match but that lad has 98% chance of thriving in Dortmund and very soon Top European clubs will be scrambling for him. It was the best club he chose to go to at this period of his career.

I agree with you, had he gone to a club like United, that would be the end of his glittering start of Career

I think more goals will be in the second half, it will be a pretty solid game, I hope a good match for Halland, of course without injury, and to continue in form and relive the world with his goal instinct.

Don't know if it'll be an easy game but i'm definitely going to add this game to my acca. O3.5 was correct in 6 out of 8 home games for Dortmund. hmm  Wink Btw, Koln are unbeaten in their last 4 league games, just saying...

Correct. Muechen has dominated Bundesliga over history because their very strong squad depth. Some seasons, the others beat them and won the title but it usually does not last longer than 2 consecutive seasons. Muechen has strong financial backbones enough to buy key players of their competitors, so if one competitor is strong enough to beat Muechen in 2 continuous years, Muechen will buy key players of that competitor and return to end next season as the champion of Bundesliga.
This had happened to Dortmund when he was still practicing Jurgen Klopp. Munich hijacked key dortmund players after they won the Bundesliga. Because the quality of the reserves and core players of Munich is almost the same, they are the team most ready to fight until the end of the competition. Now Leipzig and Dortmund also have good money. but they just started.

Haland is a monster, but people are not yet aware of the talent, in addition to playing that kind of game on his debut. I love him primarily because he is not like Neymar and someone like him, he doesn't build his character on marketing but is a goal machine, people find him selfish, but you can't have a problem with a player when he scores and wins then he should be selfish.
As much as Manchester United are always having problems with Mino Raiola, they should have put ten their pride aside and just bought Haaland because he was the perfect striker that Manchester United needed and considering that we don't have a real centre forward in all our attacking options so he would have been perfect for us.

Haaland is great but the Manchester United team is not.
This would create huge problem to him if he was a member of the team. He wouldn't be able to perform at his max.

This is true, but mufc were obviously not open to leaving their players future in the agents hands.
The deal as reported will make haaland leave mufc to any club as long as the clubs meet the fee, while united wants the player on a longer term and an additional clauses too.

Its a good deal for dortmund because in few years, they would be selling haaland for over 150 million if he continues to perform at that rate and consistency
