it looks like Bayern will score a lot of goals in matches on (19/10/19) later.  Bayern vs Augsburg hopefully make Bayern back at the top of the Bundesliga standings.

while for Leipzig.. it looks like they will have difficulty in the match against Wolfsburg (19/10/19).

Leizig needs to be back on track in order to be close to Bayern.
If they lose again points against Wolfsburg, this will mean that they are going to lose the Bundesliga title for one more season.

I liked how Bayern is struggling this early stage. This makes Bundesliga more exciting and competitive. Let the shake ups begin. Although Bayern is still likely to take over the games later.

Bayern will get a win this time at Augsburg.

Things won't be that easy for Leipzig as Wolfsburg will give its best to maintain its good start and is yet to taste a defeat. I'll take a 2.0 Leipzig but 1.57 seems too small imo.

Bayern vs Augsburg will be an interesting match as last season Bayern scored late to beat them, and this season they’re in good form hence this should be an routine victory for Bayern Munich. @Chrystora123 indeed Leipzig will find it hard to beat Wolfsburg, as Wolfsburg players are in top form and they have not been defeated so far this season.

Warm news for discussion. Because Manchester United performance was unsatisfactory, there was a lot of news that the Man United coach would be fired and it was rumored that Manchester United's management was interested in signing Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.

If this really happens, Will Leipzig performance decline after the coach left them to United.
Leipzig's performance will definitely decline.
Also if he left for Manchester United, i don't think he would be so successful in the EPL in the short run. Apart from Bayern Munich being so dominant, German Bundesliga isn't so complicated like the EPL.

Manchester United chaps are just so impatient. I still feel David Moyes or Mourihno would have put Man United in a better place long term.

Julian is super-young and can go to all the big clubs in 3,5,10 and 20 years. He just started his "2nd experiment" after succeeding with Hoffenheim and for the moment it looks like he will succeed with Leipzig, too.

"Never say never" but this will not happen, not this year by 100% confidence and not next summer with 98% confidence (except anything happens in the club which makes him wanna leave).

From the beginning of the season we can already know, the candidates for the German league champions are Bayern Munchen or Dortmund. And this is what makes the German league really makes us bored.

Thats exactly what i have written few days or an week ago , you know the most time that it will be maybe Bayern Munich that win the Title.
But it looks like that the cards this years are new mixed and also there are a few Teams for the title that we for now havnt expected .
Hopefuly some other team as Bayern Munich  Cool .

As much as I would like to see that happen and yes "history doesn´t have to repeat over and over again", but (f.e. in case somebody wants to drop some $$$ to another team), we could get to some ideas when we compare the matchday 8 - standings from the past.

Bayern:
- the more or less traditionally start slow
- runs hot the longer the campaign runs

the rest:
- we will always find some surprises kick-starting into a campaign
- none could hold this level until the end

Don´t get me wrong, I am the first looking for Bayern to struggle all campaign long, just wanted to provide some stats, not crashing the party Wink

Interesting stats about the whole Bundesliga league table.
I feel that you are right, in the most cases Bayern had a slow start and then they dominate the League. I believe that this happens due to the good rotation that this team can do, on the contrary of all the other teams in the league.

I wonder why this happens though. They have different managers or players, but 'history repeats itself' at least for three years in a row. Kinda like City for the last 2 seasons. This means if there is another team that performs consistently after the 8 matches, they won't get the title. It would be better if they aim for straight wins from the beginning of the season.

I can´t tell you, but somehow there is an self-conception on their side which tells them "don´t worry, in the end it will be ours" and then it happens.

Speaking about the last campaign (it wasn´t that close in the end since 6 years or so), just look at this:

After matchday 20 in campaign 2018/2019:

After Bayern losing 3:1 in Leverkusen, Dortmund has been 7 (!) points clear onto Bayern with only 14 matches to play. Nothing close to that happened for many many years.

And then it just happened again. Dortmunds young squad got more and more nervous week by week.

After 15 wins/4 draws/1 defeat in the first 20 matches, BVB "managed" 8 wins/3 draws/3 defeats in the last 14 matches.
In the same period Bayern-confidence stepped in and they flew high: 11 wins/3 draws/0 defeats in the last 14.

And the champion was... well, we know Wink

There are reports going around that Thomas Muller is considering putting in a transfer request when the season is over so that he could leave the Allianz arena the next coming summer. Seems that he is trying to find new competition since it's almost the same way when it comes to the Bundesliga.

Well actually he it seems like he (Thomas Müller) is unhappy with his role in the team and the Niko Kovac (coach).

Last weekend it was the 5th match in a row where he wasn´t in the starting XI and the coach said "If there is an urgency, he will get his minutes" (not exactly what a well deserved player wants to hear).

Either way he´s 30 years old now, never had have an other professional team than Bayern, so 2020 is the last chance for him to sign a last big deal + Bayern can ask for a transfer-fee (contract ends in summer 2021).

I have never been a big fan of Muller though, I think it's high time he leaves Bayern he's obviously no longer as indispensable like once was. However, I'm not sure any big club would be to splash a big transfer fee to sign him.

Don´t get me wrong, I am the first looking for Bayern to struggle all campaign long, just wanted to provide some stats, not crashing the party Wink

It's not about crashing the party, all you've highlighted are just facts! We've seen it year in year out. To contest against Bayern for the title will always require more than just performing well for 8 weeks or even mid season. You've got to bet on your toes for the whole of the season, you can't afford to lose momentum.

I heard today on the Radio that Bastian Schweinsteiger has announced that he will finish his Career this year with an age of 35 !
I guess its possible that he comes back to germany and maybe get some position or some job at Bayern Munich.

For Thomas Müller he is still a good player and can for sure play a few years at some international clubs.
Guess a few would be happy to get him .

Well i hope another team wins  the league this time round. Honestly I am so tired of seeing Bayern lift it every now and then. Bayern Munich is the reason the German Bundesliga looks quite boring especially to neutral fans and fans of other rival teams

Not only are you tired of this, I am too. And the fact that it has been 7 years since the 2012-2013 season Bayern Munich has always been a champion in this German league. From the beginning of the season we can already know, the candidates for the German league champions are Bayern Munchen or Dortmund. And this is what makes the German league really makes us bored.

This is common in German Bundesliga until Bayern or another team like Dortmund start their victories in a row and they make a big gap against the followers.I hope this does not happen during this year but I am confident that Bayern Munich will win Bundesliga and will start to make a difference in the upcoming weeks.

Bayern are favourites but Dortmund have a good team, you certainly can’t write them off. I prefer Dortmund to Bayern, I like their model of buying young players & developing them.

It was only their way to make a profit by buying young players at a low price and after the player had the price, Dortmund would sell it. it's exactly the same as the Ajax method. But Ajax prefers not to buy players. Because they usually foster their Academy to become a professional player.

But it must be remembered, in 3 matches played Dortmund. They haven't won at all and all the matches ended in a draw.
