Even though pre season matches are not that important but it helps in developing players on the task ahead of them in the upcoming season so the productivity of players in pre season matches may not matter but it helps prepare their mindset very well so it's just like a form of training that teams normally do amongst themselves, the only difference here is that they are going to face an opposition team. When the seasons begins that is where the through strength of each players is being showcase but during the pre season games is still a moment where coaches can be able to identify a new player who is very tactical and has a lot of experience even from the junior players.
I agree with that, especially for young players who can certainly learn or experience from this preseason, besides that even though the preseason match can be said to be unimportant, this is one way to adapt for those who have just joined their new team to get to know other players better and find chemistry with each other which aims to strengthen and beautify the game that will be played later.

for junior players or new players of course they need to adapt to each other in order to perform well in the coming season. also looking for a game that is comfortable and the strategy set by the coach must of course be learned by all players in order to mature the strategy and technique given by the coach. so when they have adapted well, whether it is with each other or with the strategy set by the coach, then in the coming season they are ready to show the best that they have learned.

Yes that is right predicting preseason games is fun but not always right. Still I also believe Bayern Munich and other team will score at least two goals in first half. They are both great teams and we know very well that this game is just for practice not to win or lose. They want to show off their skills and see how strong they are. Both teams have done well in practice games before with Bayern Munich never losing and other team doing pretty well too. People don't care about preseason matches but these matches are important for the teams. Because in these matches they can checkout their mistakes and can resolve them. So in my point of these matches are very important for the teams.
Of course the Munich vs Tottenham match will be an important match for the coach, especially Kompany who is building his glory with Munich, this match will of course be used to evaluate the team in order to immediately improve it because the league is getting closer so of course the rest of this pre-season will be important for him especially Munich who has many star players of course Kompany must choose his 11 best players to start everything well, as well as Tottenham they will also take this match seriously to find their good game.

This match will of course be interesting and of course there will be many goals from their statistics playing with an attacking style and both teams are very open in controlling the match so of course this match will be a competitive match for the coach in determining their strategy and also their players, and of course this match will be interesting.

I also doubt Kompany's ability a little but giving him the opportunity to work in the first season must also be given as much as possible because sometimes coaches who are considered underestimated actually give surprises to Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is an elite team so the mentality of this team is also good even though the squad is always changing but Bayern Munich is still Bayern Munich which is a team that is always respected by opponents both in the Bundesliga and in the UCL league.
The opportunity has indeed been given to Kompany by Bayern Munich next season and he is also working from now on with an effort to rebuild Bayern Munich to be stronger and also be able to dominate the Bundesliga from the start of the season. Because whether or not Bayern Munich is respected in the Bundesliga really depends on his own dominance when the season starts later and Kompany will have a difficult task next season because besides having to see the existing players, he also has to see how they usually play before Kompany trains them all.

Predicting preseason matches is actually very funny. Because everyone knows that this match cannot be predicted and can only be used to gain momentary benefits. But for me, Bayern Munich and this popular team from the EPL should be able to score more than 1 in the first half. The reason is quite clear because both teams have good reputations in their respective leagues and of course this preseason match is not something serious but just wants to see their respective strengths to perform optimally.

Judging from the appearance of both teams in previous preseason matches, it is not too bad, because Bayern Munich has never lost in a preseason match and Spurs have never lost in a preseason match. Well, hopefully I will be lucky with my predictions.

Betting on pre-season or friendly matches is very risky. It is not possible to make predictions about these matches. In these matches we often see big teams losing against weaker teams. They even lost against teams we had never heard of before. So I stay away from betting on those matches.

Most experienced coaches do not use their main squad in pre-season matches. Again, using the main squad, their objective is not to win. The coach experimented with this squad in various ways. This is why it becomes challenging to win even against these smaller teams.

The match between Tottenham vs Bayern Munich is now at the top of the discussion. One reason for this is that these two teams are quite strong. Anf another reasons is that Bayern Munich's main striker Harry Kane has played with Tottenham for a long time. I would say Harry Kane is the main reason this match is at the top of the discussion right now.

Yeah, I agree with you cause most coaches use the pre-season as an opportunity to select their best eleven against a new season and also access the form and level of performance of younger talents, to know those that would be included in the squad, those that would be loaned out and those who's time is up in the team.
Not all the time that coaches necessarily get their best eleven from pre season performance and that explains why some teams aren't playing with their complete squad in the preseason games, rather like you did later mentioned it's for younger talents mostly to further confirm their abilities and how well they can fit in to the squad and importantly they coach uses the opportunity to test and fine tune their strategies as they prepare for the season to kick off. This isn't found in the bundesliga alone, other leagues do have their coaches doing this too most of the time.

But don't you think it is necessary for coaches to use most of their players in the pre season games especially their first eleven so that the new players can understand the pattern of the team, since they have the opportunity to change more than 3 players in the pre season games I don't think playing only second eleven from the team is mostly good since they are not regular starters of the team. I think most of the coaches are only afraid of playing most of the stars to avoid injuries since the league is very close to resumption but it is necessary to check their performance so as to know the best strategies to employ in every match they play.

Next season is going to be a nightmare for Bayern Munich. Because they don't have a good coach anymore and Kompany can't race with Leverkusen at all. On the other hand, Leverkusen is not much stronger since they didn't lose any players but they hired some players, and Xabi Alonso is even more experienced and can perform much better than last season.
The wrong decision Bayern Munich made was about their coach and they should be lucky to get good results while they are racing with Leverkusen.
Which is what the entire world said when Kompany got hired, everyone knew that they would not be doing anything good, but we still ended up with this situation somehow, not sure what made them hire Kompany but they insist that he is the right man for the job and I think he is not but we could make that work somehow. In the end, we should be considering how we could improve, and that's why I think it is going to be something nice to see if Kompany could prove the world wrong and just win it all.

Imagine if they end up with an unbeaten season of theirs, that would be insane and even if it is not that much, they could still win the league back again and if they do that then people who doubted Kompany (including me) would be shocked and it would be a good story to tell. Or maybe just as we expect him to be, he will be a terrible manager and end up losing a lot.

Kompany will bring a different style to Bayern Munich and Bayern will be back to its glory days. After Bayern's friendly, I think Kompany will bring his philosophy to the game and get the best out of every player. It might be too early to say, but for now I am positive about him. Bayern comes from a culture of ball possession and Kompany is one of the best people to reflect that. I think Kompany will follow Pep Guardiola's philosophy and he is a manager who can make history with Bayern Munich.

I agree with you on this. Some coaches just make use of some players to know how well they can play under pressure or in a full match base on how they perform from preseason games. The use of big players is not necessary in preseason games when you’ve already known how they play and have tested them before, the focus is on young players that are awaiting promotion to the main senior team and the new players coming in to play for the main team. Preseason games are not a waste of time, it gives the coach a look on how things will be when he uses a particular player in a particular position whether it’ll benefit them or not going into the main season games.

Pre season is actually a good time to test the capacity of a player especially when you have young talented players you intend to use during the season or tournaments. When you use players in the pre season, you prepare them to face bigger challenges even though the pattern may be quite different. When the season begins, the competition is always tougher to the point it gets to use of professionalism to survive. This is the responsibility of players like Luka Modrich in the Madrid who comes to the game to stabilize the squad and motivate them to work harder. For coaches that understand this tactics, they try as much as possible to use those old professional players whenever the need arises. However, as far as pre season is concerned, it is a cornerstone to the developmental stride to a player during the season.

Bayern Munich received three rejections from three different managers, which is why they appointed Kompany as Tuchel successor next season. At first glance, rather than appointing Kompany, Bayern Munich would actually be better off retaining Tuchel, because in many ways Tuchel is much better. However, everything has been agreed, and we have to wait for the season to roll first to assess how Kompany performs in his first season. Kompany fate actually depends on how consistent Bayern Munich performs next season, especially in the hunt for the Bundesliga trophy with Leverkusen. To be fair, we should give Kompany time to prove his quality, even though we realize that the competition will be more competitive in the future. Meanwhile, the tight Champions League match schedule seems to make it difficult for Bayern Munich main competitors in the Bundesliga to appear balanced, this can be utilized well by Kompany.
And all the coaches who refused to work with Bayern Munich are all great coaches and more experienced than Kompany. The reason for his refusal may be because coaching Bayern Munich is a tough job because Bayern Munich is an elite team and requires every season to have a trophy. In the end the choice fell on Kompany to coach Bayern Munich, it can be said that Kompany taking this job is the same as risking his career as a coach because coaching a team like Bayern Munich has heavy pressure.

Now Bayern Munich fans have no choice but to accept the fact that Kompany is a coach. This is very interesting to follow Kompany's career at Bayern Munich where the competition in the Bundesliga is not easy even though he has star players. But on the other hand Xabi Alanso is still coaching Leverkusen of course Leverkusen's performance will not be much different from the previous season.

People said it, and I also complained about why they hired Komany as their manager, but I later thought and realized that Bayern Munich management will not make mistakes when it comes to things like this, and I believe they know the reason why they hired him, and they have their own reason for saying he is going to perform well even though the fans are not happy with the move. I think there is no option since the management insists that he is the best for them.

We all know people want Bayern Munich performance to be next season; they will want to perform aggressively to take over the table from the beginning of the season due to their bad experience last season, so do we think Kompany will do this? This is the question we need to ask ourselves, but the thing is that many people are judging Kompany based on his last experience in Burnley. Let us wait and see what Kompany will do before we conclude.

Obviously, people will surprise, and even I will surprise, though nothing is impossible. Kompany may still have achieved this, but it is going to be a big challenge for him.

I know that Leicester and it is similar to what happened to Napoli in the Serie A league last season, I really consider this and also look at them, but the Odss difference is very far where Bayer Munich gets 1.49 and Bayer Leverkusen 3.50, a very far difference, even though we know that Bayer Leverkusen yesterday won and has an extraordinary history until the end of the season, is the bookmaker not in a hurry to determine the odds that have a very far difference?

I am very curious, what is the basis or what factors make a team get a much greater probability in a match that has not yet started.
Sometimes it happens that teams can become champions but the next season they can't repeat the same thing, often it happens because teams sell their players, but Alonso was able to keep all the players and was even active in the transfer market, which gives hope that Bayer will be just as strong. Such low odds on Bayern can be because they rarely have bad seasons and mostly dominate the Bundesliga.
The bookmakers were not fair with this odd difference between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen; I never expected such odd difference because I know that Bayern Munich will make a great advancement next season.
Bayer Leverkusen on the other hand despite not losing any important player to any team, their pattern of play has been captured by so many teams and I don’t expect them to have a perfect season as they did last season because they will also be playing in the Champions League.
Again, Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany looks like a team that has waken up from their bad days, they can be stronger than they were last season which shows that they can win the league ahead of Leverkusen and Dortmund.

Now did you make a point or not? I am confused. You say the bookmakers were not fair, so what? Do you want the difference in the odds be bigger or smaller? Man I can't stand posts like these when you take the time to read them and afterwards you feel like you lost some IQ points...

The odds make perfect sense to me. Bayern Munich is by far the biggest favorite based on history alone. In the last 12 years they won the title 11 times. When they don't win the title, it is usually because they messed up. In this case Bayer Leverkusen was far superior, which is a very seldom case in the Bundesliga and the probability that Leverkusen will show a similar performance like last season is close to zero.

Leverkusen will be a strong competitor for Bayern Munich like last season because Xabi Alonso is still the coach of the club and there is no doubt about his coaching system, but we also don't know what Vincent Kompany will do to his club whether it will be better or worse but I also favor Leverkusen over Bayern Munich because I know the Bayern Munich coach does not have good experience so in other words I doubt it I'm just trying to be realistic but if my doubts are wrong I'm also quite happy if in the end Bayern Munich can return to its best version.

Next season is going to be a nightmare for Bayern Munich. Because they don't have a good coach anymore and Kompany can't race with Leverkusen at all. The season has not yet begun, and you say that Kompany will not compete with Xavi Alonso next season. Bayern Munich is good, and I am confident that the coach will do his best to push Leverkusen and win the Bundesliga next season. If a coach is truly awful, he will not be hired by a major team, such as Bayern Munich. Everyone knows that Xavi Alonso is a very talented coach and he helped Leverkusen achieve the league, but next season will be a new season, you won't know what will happen, and it will be very difficult for Leverkusen to win another league next season. Dortmund are trying and they will challenge them if Bayern Munich fail to win the league. Kompany's failure to play well in Burnley does not guarantee that he will do so against Bayern Munich, let's see how the next season goes and whether Kompany performs well or not. I just want Bayern Munich to do their best and win the Bundesliga next season for Harry Kane, who has yet to win a European trophy and is getting older he has to win a title before retiring from football.

This will be one of the last friendlies before the start of the season, so it would be appropriate to look at the game of the main players, but perhaps there is no point in this since they will almost certainly be in the main team anyway, so they can be given some time to play, and I think Kompany will pay the main attention either to the newcomers of the team, or to the players on the bench, perhaps one of them will be able to show readiness to play. I don't know if Tottenham can be more prepared for this match, most likely the teams are at about the same level for now.
You are right. Also, Kompany could consider risking them since most of his big guns were absent in the 14-1 mauling of a ninth division Rottach- Ergen and if you ask me, I'd also say there was no point using them but in the game against Tottenham? Kompany will want to impress the management and show them that it wasn't a mistake to bring him on board as coach of the team and will try to pull out all the stops to ensure victory.
Ange Postecoglu is well versed in tactical play and it will be a matter of finishing what they started when Vincent was in the EPL and hence the game's going to be tough as expected.
True, teams will try to make sure their players get less injuries as much as possible being that the season will soon be underway and I believe this can be properly averted if the load is not resting on one person like in the case of Rasmus Hojlund at Man UTD.

Tottenham's Big Ange & Ben Davies faced the media today and asked for their thoughts about tomorrow's match against Munich

This is a friendly match so like Tottenham I do not think that the Bayern Munich coach is going to give a lot of importance to this match. There is no reason for anyone to actually be so serious about a friendly match. Because at the end of the day every friendly match is just a way for the coaches to actually try out different things that they think might work and do some experiment. Keeping all the players healthy is a big condition for Bayern Munich to have success in this season. And I think that is going to be the priority for the new coach of Bayern Munich.

Of course Kompany would like to impress the authority. They have seen him have success before. And they obviously have been impressed by him before and that’s why they have brought him in. You would not want to make them think that it was a mistake for sure. But I think he can only do that by winning the Bundesliga title.
