There are bad news for Bayern Munich about there goalkeeper Manuel Neuer , as he got today injured in the training with the German National Team.
He already leaved the National Team and was going back to Bayern Munich with an torn muscle fiber.
So its possible that he maybe will be missed in the next game against Dortmund in Munich.

That would be bad news for Bayern Munich fans, as Bayern Munich are trying to get their form back in the league and even now fans are increasingly anxious if Neuer misses a crucial Champions league game, previously Bayern Munich also almost lost Kane due to an ankle injury when hitting the post during the game against Darmstadt,  But it seems that they are quite relieved when they hear that Kane is currently not seriously injured, but it turns out that now Bayern Munich must lose Neuer who is a tough figure in guarding Munich's goal so far.

Neuer's injury certainly not only costs Germany ahead of Euro 2024, but what is certain is that Bayern Munich must be ready for crucial matches in the rest of the season without Neuer, because reportedly a left adductor injury forced Nueur to miss the games against Dortmund and also Arsenal, losing Neuer is certainly a big loss for Munich who are currently trying to close the gap from Leverkusen and get the Champions League trophy this season as one the only trophy target for them, indeed currently Munich has several replacement goalkeepers such as Sven Ulreich and Daniel Peretz but so far their performance is not as consistent and good as when Neuer played.

Bayern Munich has no chance of winning the Bundesliga title because Bayern Leverkusen has been consistent in the Bundesliga this season. Bayern Munich will not want to lose most of their remaining matches in the league because they might miss out on finishing in the second spot in the Bundesliga table.
Bayern Munich can still maintain second place this season because they can no longer catch Bayer Leverkusen who are still able to maintain a points distance from them at this time. Now all teams also know that there are not many games remaining for this season and these two teams will continue to take advantage of that to maintain their respective positions and maintain their chances of winning this season as Bayer Leverkusen is currently doing.
It seems like there is nothing left for Bayern Munich to hope for in the Bundesliga except to prioritize the CL match against Arsenal and to qualify for the semi-finals and continue fighting for the Champions League title.
Even though the remainder of this match still holds many surprises, Leverkusen will not worry about these surprises because they know better that Bayern Munich is no longer focused on the Bundesliga but is more focused on more prestigious competitions.
I am not sure that Bayern Munich will catch up with Leverkusen, who are not certain to be able to catch up with such a large difference in points, while the risk is too high when chasing the Bundesliga title, it will affect the performance of the players or there is a risk of injury which could prevent Bayern Munich from winning the CL trophy.
A difference of 10 points is very large number and it takes more than 3 wins with 3 defeats for Leverkusen if Bayern Munich wants to win the top of the standings and of course this is impossible.
So if they want to do it then everything will just be in vain and become dream that must be fulfilled bury it deep.
Bayern Munich should not prioritize trying to catch up with Leverkusen because their opponent for the UCL quarter-finals is Arsenal, who are currently in very good condition and can beat Bayern Munich.
At least Bayern Munich must be able to really fight to win and be able to qualify for the semifinals. They will be much more fortunate if they can qualify for the semifinals rather than just being concerned with the Bundesliga title which is clearly impossible to get.
Moreover, when Bayern Munich lost to Arsenal and were eliminated, it was clear that there would be fewer Bundesliga matches so there would be no hope whatsoever for Bayern Munich and there would never be any worries from Leverkusen even though Bayern Munich was focused on the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich mistake was that from the start they were behind in points and this was the main reason why Bayern Munich was under pressure and was also behind by quite lot of points.

Sad news for Neuer, I hope he recovers from his injury quickly. Now that he is older, even the slightest injuries can be dangerous. We have time before the Dortmund match, maybe he can recover. If he cannot recover, there is a more important match than the Dortmund match, they will play the quarter-finals with Arsenal at the beginning of April.
I think it will be the most critical match for Bayern, there is no chance of their league rankings changing within a few matches

He has just recovered from a long injury, it would be a shame if Neuer had to be sidelined again due to injury. The German national team and Bayern Munich really need his services, he has experience in various competitions. Other news states that Neuer may have to be sidelined for Bayern Munich next three matches. If true, then Neuer will miss the match against Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals.
If Manuel Neuer has to miss the next three matches for Bayern Munich, I don't think it will have much of an effect on Bayern Munich even though Bayern Munich's reserve goalkeeper himself has a slightly different experience to Manuel Neuer. Because Bayern Munich is quite confident that they will not be so panicked when they visit Arsenal in the first leg so that Manuel Neuer can be prepared by Bayern Munich when they face Arsenal again in the second leg. So what Bayern Munich needs to think about now is better tactics apart from maintaining the fitness of the key players that they will use when facing the UCL match.

Manuel Neuer has pulled out of national team citing his injuries. That means he could be missing at least a few matches for Bayern Munich as well.
Bayren Munich has a game against Dortmund this Saturday. That could be a big concern for the team as they are closely being followed by Stuttgart in the league. Further down on April 10, they have the 1st leg of quarterfinals of UEFA Championship against Arsenal in London. If their goalkeeper of choice, Manuel Neuer is unfit for it, they might concede more goals on that leg. It's not sure how long Manuel Neuer would be out but it would weaken the team when he's out of it.

Leverkusen could finish the whole season unbeaten to be fair, they are of course going very strong but this makes me fear that they may not be so happy next season. The closest example would be Lille, PSG dominated the league before Lille became champions and dominated after them too, where is Lille now?

If Xabi leaves, and some of their younger players are bought and older players get even older then suddenly Leverkusen will do terrible next season. Even more recent example would be Napoli, they didn't even lose that many good players, and they still became terrible after manager change. All in all, I do agree that they will finish with Bundesliga for sure, probably the cup, and maybe Europa if they are lucky, but that's about it, next season they might be terrible.
It all depends on Leverkusen management as long as they can keep Xabi to stay with Leverkusen for several seasons. I'm sure Leverkusen will have no worries after losing Xabi when the players are managed well by this great coach.
It is impossible for a coach who is retained by management and given full responsibility for the performance of the players to just remain silent, of course Xabi, after successfully winning the bundesliga title, will make several changes or replace old players with young players slowly.
as long Xabi can consistently bring in talented young players who have good quality skills, Leverkusen will definitely have a better future.

and most importantly, if Xabi has managed Leverkusen well, Leverkusen management should be more consistent in replacing Xabi with an experienced coach to be able to continue the positive trend that has been established by Xabi.
however, all this does not provide any guarantees because sometimes even popular teams will lose their popularity when they experience poor performance in the long term, but I hope that Leverkusen can still survive.

Additionally, I don't think Xabi Alonso will be leaving Leverkusen anytime soon, and even if he does, it would be best if he moves to Liverpool. However, did you consider the possibility that, should he decide to leave Leverkusen today, only Liverpool would pursue him? Not only will Real Madrid pursue him, but so will Liverpool, and it will be a test for both clubs. Real Madrid, in particular, is in need of a coach like Xabi Alonso, and they will welcome him back because he is a Real Madrid legend.

There is a chance for Xabi Alonso to stay at Leverkusen for at least another season as well of course. But I don't know whether this is the highest probability for him now.  Sad  Besides I think it can be better to join a bigger team after having a season like this. Because it won't really be easy for him to repeat this success with Leverkusen next season.

Real Madrid wouldn't pursue him, there is no chance for that. The reason is that Ancelotti signed a new contract with Real Madrid which expires in 2026. Real Madrid have already made their choice. Liverpool and Bayern Munich seem like the most probable ones now for Xabi Alonso if he leaves.

I read that Alonso was invited to Bayern even earlier, but he refused, saying that he was not ready for this yet. I think everything is obvious here, Bayern is his former club, he knows the Bundesliga well, the team has good opportunities to realize any ambitions, and in my opinion Bayern once wrote that they are making progress in negotiations with Alonso. Everything will depend on Alonso's decision, does he want to try coaching a Premier League team, or will he be comfortable continuing to work in the Bundesliga? It seems to me that Bayern would be a more acceptable option for him.

Quote
"After taking Leverkusen to the top of the Bundesliga, Alonso has attracted the interest of two European giants, both of whom are set to recruit new managers this summer following the departures of Juergen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel.

Alonso is understood to be Liverpool and Munich's top target at the moment, but Carro stressed to BILDthat he has no reason to believe the former midfielder will leave the club this summer."

Apart from that, I also read rumors that Xabi Alonso is not interested in coaching any club other than Leverkusen, in the sense that Xabi Alonso will stay longer at Leverkusen and maybe until his contract expires, namely 2026. To be honest, I'm happy if Xabi Alonso stays longer and rejects Bayern Munich's offer because I We still want to see Leverkusen's progress in the future, whether it will increase or decrease and of course it will compete closely with Bayern Munich in the hunt for the Bundesliga title. This is what football fans are waiting for. We also want to see the Bundesliga become more competitive and not only Bayern Munich in the lead. the league.

If Xabi Alonso is really still at Leverkusen next season, it means he will take part in the Champions League competition and not the European League, this is a new experience for Xabi Alonso to train a club in a big competition. We'll see if Xabi Alonso is able to handle the Leverkusen club next season. compete with European kings Real Madrid and also Manchester City when they meet in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich would undoubtedly prioritise the Champions League competition over the Bundesliga, where they trail their closest rival, Bayern Leverkusen, by a significant number of points. Switching their focus to the Champions League is not a guarantee that they will win the Champions League, as we still have very strong teams that will give them a tough time if they are to prevail in this competition. Arsenal could be an easy contender, but they must prove that they are superior; otherwise, Arsenal may eliminate them from the competition sooner than expected.
Bayern Munich won many Bundesliga titles and their priority is Champions League after they were ready to spend big transfer money for Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur. Success in Champions League is great for their club income too, and not only restrict to their club's hall.

Prioritizing Champions League does not mean Bayern Munich are ready to lose Bundesliga to any club in Germany so what's going on this season in Bundesliga with them, is not their expectation when the season began months ago. Even only two months ago, things were not bad like now for Bayern Munich. They lost control in Bundesliga race to Leverkusen with sudden poor performances last two months.

Quote
Bayern Leverkusen are now left with two competitions in which they have high hopes of reaching the finals and ultimately winning. For the Bundesliga, the point difference between them and second-placed Bayern Munich is a significant advantage. The Europa League's path to the final appears to be easier, and they will need to be at their best in the final to win, which they will have plenty of time to do once they reach that stage of the competition.
Leverkusen are playing well and have an amazing journey in both Bundesliga and Europa League. With nearly completion in Bundesliga, they will focus more on Europa League, first quarter finals and next semi finals with potential re-meeting with AS Roma.

Bundesliga crown is nearly in Leverkusen hands and this season will be a massive successful one for them if they can win Europa League too.

Manuel Neuer has had big figure of appearances with Bayern Munich. The team is very much acquainted with him, especially the defence. So, it was difficult for them to cope the first surgery that Neuer went. They had to manage the situation, so I guess they have gotten somehow used to playing without him.

However, the experience and chemistry of Manuel Neuer with the team is top notch and that is why the teams needs him almost in every match. I doubt he will be available for their champions league clash with Arsenal. It will be a bigger loss if he isn't available for that fixture. Also, this is a warning for Bayern to start making a succession plan for Manuel Neuer.

Winning the UEFA Champions League title comes with sacrifices and I'm pretty confident about the incompetent performance of Bayern Munich this season, their weaknesses are clearly mapped out under Thomas Tuchel who's not having a great time in the club, facing vital roles to play which he absolutely doesn't fit in. The winnings are important and there's definitely no better way than enhancing our golden opportunities in the system. Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are moving in for different target this season. Its been really a whole rough season for the Bavarians.

Bayern Munich have been one of the strongest teams and also one of the favorite by bookmakers every season in the Champions league. Last season they were ruthless under Neglesmann and didn’t even Lose a group game before Tuchel came and they got knocked out by eventual winners city. We all know how good city was last season but the game against Bayern most especially at the Allianz Arena was where I saw Bayern declining a bit and a worry for them this season. And here we are they are in a big mess already. The group stage was easier to me because of the club’s struggling there. The round of 16 was a scare to team, if they can have nerves high like that in a game against Lazio then I see them struggling further. Right now I have higher hopes for Arsenal than them.

As for the league, it’s almost lost to me, although they have been pulling along in think a lose to Dortmund after the international break will all but confirm it for them. Dortmund on their must win this to keep their top 4 spot in tact.

That's right, Bayern Munich no longer has big hopes in the Bundesliga, especially after Leverkusen leads the standings with a gap of 10 points. Even though each team actually still has 8 matches until the end of the season, Bayern Munich's chances are no longer good at this time. Leverkusen only needs 5 more wins from the next 8 matches to seal the title, and that's if Bayern Munich can win all the remaining matches.

Bayern Munich has the opportunity to win the Champions League title, but of course that is not an easy thing to achieve. We know Bayern Munich are favorites over Arsenal, but Arsenal is a team that has big ambitions in the Champions League this season and Arteta will likely fulfill those expectations as best he can.
Yes, they have to think clearly because the difference in points with Leverkusen is currently 10 points which might be quite difficult to catch if you look at the remaining matches this season. For this reason, Bayern Munich must divert their attention to the Champions League because in the Champions League they still have a chance to become champions. This season, the competition for the Bundesliga title will of course belong to Leverkusen because they were able to show their best game by going undefeated. Apart from that, the level of strength of the Leverkusen team is quite good, they are very focused on finding victory in every match they play. Xabi Alonso will of course succeed in bringing Leverkusen to become champions in the Bundesliga because their consistent level has made Leverkusen the team at the forefront to win the trophy.

Talking about Bayern munich in the Champions League, of course their path to winning is very difficult because they have to face many of the strong teams remaining at the moment. In the quarter-finals, Arsenal were their opponents, which is definitely not a weak team so anything can happen in this match. I mean Arsenal can bury Bayern munich dreams if Bayern Munich is not able to play with their best quality.

Yes, harsh language like that. There is no longer any hope for Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga trophy this season. And this is the fact. Because even though there is still some replaying, what is certain is that the number of points with Leverkusen is quite large. And this is quite impossible for Bayern to take over. So, yes, Bayern's focus will no longer be there considering that it is quite a difficult fact to take in.

I don't think if Bayern Munich can easily get Xabi Alonso easily this time.
Xabi Alonso is like a gem in Leverkusen there are some other teams that want to hire this Spanish coach for the next season. But Fernando Carro, the CEO of Leverkusen said they are not going to let Alonso leave.
Xabi's influence on Leverkusen is very high, and Leverkusen being as good as they are today cannot be separated from how Xabi did it. It may not be easy enough to build such a club. However he is doing it very greatly. And with conditions like this, it seems unlikely that it will be possible for Leverkusen to let Xabi go easily, especially to let him go to Bayern Munich, this is impossible. It is still possible to go to other leagues, but not for the Bundesliga. And of course, I'm sure that even next season, Leverkusen will still retain Xabi as their coach.

Actually, there is nothing wrong if Bayern Munich tries to give up this season's Bundesliga title being taken over by Leverkusen because there is still a more prestigious title to fight for in the Champions League, but I often say that many people say that Bayern Munich is bad and cannot catch up with Leverkusen and also criticize Bayern. Munich cannot win a title in the champions league and for me this is a wrong statement.
There are so many people on social media who criticize Bayern Munich, even in this forum there are some people who doubt Bayern Munich, even though they are forgetting something very important, if Bayern Munich only needs the Champions League title this season.
