With 2 assists last weekend, Marco Reus has equalled Ribery's record for most assists since 2004. Only Thomas Muller has had more assists since Optra stats started data collection. With Frieberg's game up next, he could get past Ribery and become solely 2nd in the standings.

Darmstadt FC needs 12 points to get out of the relegation zone. That is with the record that several teams that collected 25 points lost and Darmstadt FC won all the matches. I thought it was impossible. That's because Darmstadt FC is the team with the most goals conceded in the Bundesliga this season. They were only able to win 2 matches. They no longer have any hope of playing in the Bundesliga next season. I think they have to prepare to drop to the second tier of the German league next season.

There is nothing more to expect from Darmstadt because ya,ofcourse Darmstadt is certain to be relegated . No matter about the scenario there because after all, teams like FC Koln who are also in the relegation zone but only have a difference of 8 points with Bochum who are outside the relegation zone, the fact remains that it is stilldifficult for FC Koln to get out of the relegation zone. What's more about Darmstadt which is really at thebottom of the standings, ofcourse Darmstadt no longer has a chance to stay in the Bundesliga because it is certain that Darmstadt will be relegated at the end of this season. In addition ,the fact that Darmstadt this season is also a promotion team and unfortunately, Darmstadt is still very weak to compete in the Bundesliga so it will make Darmstadt return to play in the 2.Bundesliga next season.

Bayern Munich is not much of a favorite right now because of some of the disappointing results they have had in previous matches. Lazio's aggregate is not big and maybe Bayern Munich can make a comeback in the second leg because the match will take place at Bayern Munich's home ground. Now it depends on Tuchel and how they can get a win in the second leg, as people say that Tuchel is not the right coach to handle Bayern Munich now.
They will not lose Bundesliga to Leverkusen but if they have to choose between Bundesliga and Champions League, they will choose Champions League. If they beat Lazio and go to quarter finals, they will not be too far from the final match. They will possibly keep fighting in both competitions as in Champions League, with knock out format, it will be risky to be eliminated. In Bundesliga, it is a long run so Bayern Munich will not give up soon.
I don't see any hope for Bayern Munich for taking over the table from Leverkusen, they have 8 points interval and with the current form of Leverkusen now Bayern Munich have to exercise patience this season and allow Xabi Alonso to finish what he has started, as for the Champions league Lazio are already taking lead and Lazio will see it as an advantage to qualify to quarter finals, the both teams seem to have equal performance but still Lazio have to put more effort despite they have  won the first leg, the second leg will be a little bit difficult to win because despite Bayern Munich performance are fluctuating they don't joke with home game which I fill the can make it to quarter final.
We can say that this year has been terrible for Bayern Munich. They were eliminated by the third league team in the German Cup. They lost in the first match against Lazio in the CL, and they continue behind Bayer Leverkusen in the league. If such results are achieved despite a striker of Harry Kane's quality this year, Bayern Munich officials should investigate this thoroughly. Also, Kane makes great contributions. He tries to score goals in every match. Despite this, Bayern Munich is behind. It seems that the years-long championship tradition will be broken this year.

It is looking like it's almost guaranteed that Bayern will defeat Lazio, and that seems like the thing that matters the most right now to them, they need to keep going because there is really nothing that they can do right now which would make it change anytime soon.
I never doubted Bayern Munich’s qualification ahead of Lazio despite the first leg result because I know that Bayern Munich will be embarrassed if they couldn’t beat Lazio. If it happens that Bayern is eliminated, then Tuchel did not need to wait for the end of the season, he should be sacked and give another person chance to finish the season.

I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be ignoring the league because league is almost over for them, that's just the facts we have right now. I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be making sure that they are going further and further at UCL. Of course during this time if they end up doing well at the league and suddenly for some reason Leverkusen loses some points, that would also be great for them.
They need to keep trying even in the League, if they gave up so quick it will not be as interesting as it should be, but if they keep their hope live, they will keep fighting till the end because Leverkusen will surely lose match.
They will go further in the Champions League even if they cannot win the Champions League.

We are about to enter week 24 of the Bundesliga season. In this 24th week the top leaders will face Koln who are in a very unsafe zone for them, because they are in 16th place in the standings. With their opponents at the bottom, it shouldn't be too difficult for Leverkusen to beat Koln, even though Koln will play at home in this match. Koln themselves can only record 3 wins from 23 games they played, and won 8 draws and the rest ended in defeat.

I don't think I need to talk about Leverkusen for their performance, but I will give some views about them. Xabi Alonso has been really successful since he arrived in the middle of last season. Although it was only half a season that he completed last season, but this season he has made a lot of changes for Leverkusen. I can't say he's built a foundation here, because I don't think that's enough in a short period of time. But at least he's shown tremendous changes in Leverkusen, especially in terms of player cooperation. I think the harmony between the players is one of the keys to Xabi Alonso's success in building cooperation in this team. They've already taken one step towards success, now they just need to take another step by maintaining the consistency of their play.

Consistency and Discipline would be key towards lifting that Bundesliga League Competition this season. Just like Pep Guardiola has said, " They might lose it because they think it's all done " Hopefully, they don't see it that way. There has got to be more tougher fixtures to play and also the European Europa League Competition can also cause unnecessary fatigue in the squad.
But then, honestly do think that, Xabi Alonso deserves all of the flowers but let's keep them until the end of the season when all of it has been rounded up.

They shouldn't sleep on Bayern Munich, they're hungry lions and the slightest chance they get, you'll see them take a firm grip at the top of the league. One thing I don't like are rumours of Thomas Tuchel linked to this club or that club, at least I know he would be leaving at the end of the season but then, he should show some respect for the fact that he's still got contract with Bayern Munich.

Thomas Tuchel moving to Manchester United also don't make sense. Manchester United are not know to be defensive in shape, Sir Alex Ferguson has dropped deep during some big games to contain quality clubs but defensive all day? Hell No!

The only way for Bayern Munich to get pass Leverkusen in the league standing right now is for Leverkusen to lose 3 matches and for Bayern Munich to win all their remaining matches in the league but judging from the performance of the league leaders Leverkusen, despite gapping Bayern Munich with 8 points they always appear to be more serious in every match they play and they have never allowed their recent good performance to get into their head as have have been doing better and better in every match which is the reason why I think they will be the champions this season. For the Champions League match involving Bayern and Lazio which will be played in Germany, I think Bayern Munich still have more chances of getting to the next round since it will be taking place in their home with the support of their fans they have a better advantage than Lazio.

With a gap of 12 points to place 15 Darmstadt has very little chance of staying in the Bundesliga. They could still make it into the relegation play-offs, because Place 16 is 4 poinsts away. But even that is pretty unlikely if I look at their performance. Their last win was against Augsburg at matchday 7. And now they will play agaisnt Augsburg again in their next game. Augsburg won their last game against Freiburg and will probably also win this.

Darmstadt has only managed get 13 points this season, yet even as the season is almost over, they have 13 points since the start of the season. Right now, Darmstadt position is in the relegation zone. Darmstadt have conceded more goals than FC Cologne this season, Darmstadt will still be in the relegation zone even if they manage to secure four points in their next two games. This weekend, Darmstadt will play Augsburg, that will be a difficult game because of their bad performances. Augsburg last five games, they have won one, drawn two, and lost two. Augsburg defeated Freiburg in their previous game, but I still think they'll win this one. With this kind of performance, I don't think Darmstadt will be in the Bundesliga next season.

Sttugart performance is quite impressive and their still have a big chance to overtake Bayern from second place in the Bundesliga standings, apart from Sttugart having consistency in every match, of course bayern munich performance which is starting to limp at the moment could be an advantage for sttugart to do so.

If Bayern Munich fail to return to their winning ways to maintain their current position, Stuttgart will overtake them for the second place. Stuttgart is behind Bayern Munich by just six points separated between them. If winning the Bundesliga title has become more difficult this season, Bayern Munich should hold onto their second place because losing it would be much worse for the team. This weekend, Bayern will play Freiburg; let's hope they can get the three point.

Currently, darmstadt position is in serious danger of being relegated and it seems like they have no hope of being free from the relegation zone, although they still have a chance to be in the play-off round against a team from the 2nd division, but for some reason it seems like it will be difficult for darmstadt to survive in bundesliga next season, so far hamburger sv is in third place in the second bundesliga standings and I see hamburger sv performance  to be better than darmstadt even though the two are now playing in different divisions.

Having only won 2 matches out of 23 matches in the bundesliga, darmstadt certainly no longer has much hope and motivation to survive in the bundesliga, especially this season, darmstadt has often become a goal barn for teams in the bundesliga, including lose from teams as weak as Koln who are also in in the current relegation zone, I think there is no hope for darmstadt to improve their position this season if we look at the opponents that darmstadt will face in the next match.

12 points away from safety to ensure they stay in the Bundesliga for next season is a very difficult distance to chase. Not only that they are also very difficult to win, with facts like that then I'm not sure they will be able to do unless they get very lucky in the rest of the season. Yes, they have to hope they always get points from every game, and also they have to hope that the team that is above them at this time continues to lose, and all of that is impossible if it is not for luck.

Even for the play off spot now held by Koln, I doubt they'll be able to catch Bochum although it could still be possible and they have a better chance than Damstardt. But still there must be hard work and also expect Bochum to get negative results in at least 3 matches.  Maybe for 3 defeats I think it will be felt by Bochum and even more, it's just that the question is whether Koln is able to wipe out the rest of the match with positive results? I say it is something difficult and can even be said to be something impossible to do, considering their opponents are also tougher than Koln.

You are wrong if you say Bayern are not too favored in this match because even though they are still unstable in terms of performance and still behind 1 goal on aggregate after the first leg they lost but for the second leg to play at the Alianz Arena it is enough to make them the current favorites.

From the current odds, it seems that we must understand what is happening where 1.28 versus 11 for Lazio in terms of odds makes us know that they are very favorite in the match later and it is a fair thing if we see the current conditions.

Bayrn's strength is still much greater in terms of popularity and individual player skills when compared to Lazio. In addition, they also still have the advantage of playing home in the second leg and that will definitely increase their enthusiasm especially with the target they want to do this season of course they understand that they have to make a comeback and win later.
Yes, that's right, more precisely, Bayern Munich's defeat in the 1st leg was just Lazio's luck and in the 2nd leg, as a popular club, Bayern Munich will not make the same mistake and don't want to be embarrassed at home.
In terms of player quality, we all know that Munich is still superior and on the one hand, the match at home has a big influence because the Bayern Munich players will be much more confident and it is not surprising if the bookie gives small odds and favors Bayern Munich because Munich has already won get a guarantee in the 2nd leg match.

Even though they are guaranteed to win, Bayern Munich fans seem a little worried because it could end in a draw or a penalty shootout and if that happens in the penalty round it could change things for the worse.
Bayern Munich should not allow losing at home which would embarrass Tuchel's troops so it is very likely that they will still win and actually it is not difficult. Tuchel's job is just to exceed 1 aggregate score which is easy to achieve. At least you can score 2 scores without conceding. Bayern Munich can qualify for the round next and in the next round I'm not sure if I can survive but we can see first whether any changes will happen to Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich is having a lot of problems this season, and I think it's quite natural for a football team to have problems and Leverkusen has come in the right season to take advantage of it.
Munich seems to have to give up this season's Bundesliga title to Leverkusen because Munich needs to solve their internal problems which may require a lot of changes from their coaches or players next season. Munich's only chance is in the UCL which of course may be difficult for them to get because many big clubs are ready to get rid of them in the UCL, as we know last week's defeat against Lazio certainly made Munich feel bad and they must be able to win the match in the second leg at home.

Victory against Lazio in the second leg will certainly pay for every mistake they made previously and Tuchel must be able to prove that he is still worthy of being coach for Munich and he must be able to make his team remain confident in fighting for the title this season as hard as they can. with the remaining abilities, even though in reality it will be difficult and this will be a tough job for them, but there is no other way for Tuchel to stay in Munich for a long time if in the end he fails this season by bringing Munich without any titles this season .

Yes they couldn't win against Koln, they drew it.

But don't forget, one team that has been able to perform well which was kind of unexpected is Stuttgart.
they barely survived the relegation, remember? And now they are in this third position of the table.

Just for context, they have only one/two less win compared to Bayern Munich. The performance has definitely been pretty incredible from them considering the fact that they were facing relegation in the last season. They have also been able to beat good opponents like Leipzig by a huge margin, if I recall correctly it was 5-2. I guess we can say that they have been a force to reckon with in this season. Wake me up at the next match they will play is against Wolfsburg. And I am pretty certain that they are also going to win that match as well.

Yeah the change in Stuttgart's performance in two years is really impressive.  Smiley  Having a striker like Guirassy in the squad has also a big role in this of course. He is really trying his best to be beneficial for his team and prove his skills at the same time. He would probably be on the radar of big teams this summer.

So true, even though this club was not a rich club but it was able developing a good squad. The financial limitation was not preventing stuttgart to develop a good squad. Guirassy was always carrying the club and this is the fact. I will also mention the data that support my opinion.

I took the rating from top 10 players in stuttgart with most contribution. Guirassy no doubt has placed at the number one deniz undav was following him after guirassy. No doubt that even people had said guirassy has been carrying the club.
It's caused by stuttgart played so badly when guirassy was not playing. Guirassy was always organizing the attack built by stuttgart. It surprises me there was only a few clubs were demanding him. Let's see on what club that will be deciding it to be his next destination.

The gap between Bayern Munich and Stuttgart is a really small one. It is only 6 points. It was actually 4 points but this unexpected point loss against Koln caused it to get bigger. While Bayern Munich are having tough days one can think of the possibility of Stuttgart to get past them too. But I think it won't happen.

Stuttgart can surpass it as long as bayern munich will keep bottling any games. Munich is not yet stable enough and i expect club to lose some points in the upcoming games. Stuttgart has big chance to surpass it soon.
Having said it's only matter of time for stuttgart to pass bayern munich if it keeps perform so badly like the previous matches. What i have seen frm munich is now losing the chemistry between any player, lack of discipline and many more. Even kane's getting bad impact from the bad performance of bayern munich.

For now they stand the chance to lose the Bundesliga this season because already Bayern Leverkusen points is far higher than the points of Bayern Munich and even there performance Bayern Leverkusen is still more better because they have both meet on this season and do to how good and impressive performance Bayern Leverkusen has been they were able to beat Bayern Munich 3:0 on there last meeting, so perhaps is crystal clear that it has almost become impossible for Bayern Munich to beat Bayern Leverkusen on the league table of this Bundesliga because Bayern Munich has already lose form and they are no longer the strong team they are during the beginning of this season, so even if they choose to win Bundesliga trophy beating Bayern Leverkusen will be almost impossible for them, so perhaps since they have an upper chance on the champions League they should just channel all there energy on the champions League so that they will not be distracted.
Bayern Munich is now 8 points behind Leverkusen who are at the top of the standings. Mathematically, with 11 matches remaining this season, of course Bayern Munich still has a chance to defend the Bundesliga title, but if you look at Leverkusen, who are unbeaten so far and also their performance. The consistency shown by Leverkusen since the start of the season means that the possibility of Leverkusen experiencing a downturn and losing a lot of points is very small, so Bayern Munich is almost certain to have no hope.
And it must also be admitted that Leverkusen this season is much better than Bayern Munich, so it is very natural that Leverkusen will emerge as the team that wins the Bundesliga this season.

The improvement in Sttugart performance this season was beyond our expectations, because in the previous season they were to even compete to get into the top 10  it was impossible for Sttuggart, but this season we can see how Sttugart performance has improved drastic and they were even able to enter the champions league zone this season, if you look at the Bundesliga this season, it see like we have found too many surprise that are beyond our previous expectations, I am quite sure that none of the members here are guessing or even thinking that Leverkusen is capable of being at the top of the standings to become a strong candidate for the bundesliga champions, as well as with Sttugart, which we never thought would be able to compete at the top with Bayern Munich and Dortmund.
