There is really no way of knowing if Bayern Munich will lose it 100% for sure. I see their chance there, still possible to win it and yes it looks like it is not going to be all that easy or simple but it is not going to be impossible neither. We need to make sure that we know what we can do and that should be the most important part.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just making sure that we are dealing with something that will be quite difficult to handle. All in all, we need to believe that they are going to end up with something good, they are Bayern and they can still win it. I personally believe in them and think that they can make it work somehow. This should be the most important part of it all.
The chance remains, but I no longer think Bayern Munich can improve before the end of the season unless Leverkusen fails to maintain their consistency. Until week 23, Leverkusen was unbeaten in the Bundesliga and they only had 4 draws and the rest were wins. Leverkusen are very consistent, but I know they won't always be able to end the match with a win.

Bayern Munich has complicated problems between its players and coaches. Some players seemed unhappy with Tuchel, while others supported him. I'm sure Tuchel will have great difficulty leading a team like that because in the end the team's performance will not be optimal.

Next season will be very challenging because we no that Bayern Munich is the most favourable Bundesliga winner that has won the Bundesliga so many times than every other team on Bundesliga so losing this trophy this season they will not be happy because there mindset this season was that they will not find it too difficult to win the Bundesliga but to there greatest surprise the club they did not even expect will challenge them let alone win the league has become the strongest team on this season Bundesliga which is Bayern Leverkusen, so Bayern Munich will try all there best so that they will never repeat the mistake they did this season to there next season Bundesliga.
Well I see it they next season will be very much competitive because it's the birth of a new era where the dominance of Bayern Munich is going to be highly threatened haven lost dominance this season, it will now Open the eyes of other teams in the bundesliga to the fact that they can actually stand up to dominance if only they can improve their performance and style bod play and most times nits dependent on the dept of the teams and I'm optimistic most of the teams will be investing in their players by the end of the season, so they will be getting to purchase new players by the next transfer window so they can be able to strengthen their team against next season and improve their performance, productivity and results.

Although nits actually quite early discussing next season already but then it's almost the obvious because Leverkusen has this season opened the eyes of these teams to the fact that they can all get to challenge Bayern Munich to a win but the fear now lays in the fact that Xabi might leave Leverkusen by the end of the season so there are doubts they will be able to maintain form if it happens thst Xabi leaves.

Xabi Alonso is slowly getting close to the championship with Leverkusen. No doubt there will be quite a few big teams which will be looking for signing him this summer. Klopp is leaving Liverpool by his own decision. Xavi has announced his departure from Barcelona by the end of the season. In addition to these news Bayern Munich have also recently stated that they decided to part ways with Tuchel.  Smiley

I expect a tough challenge among Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona to sign Xabi Alonso. Each one of them can offer a much better salary he is earning now. I wonder if Xabi Alonso is thinking of staying here for another season.  Huh
The Bundesliga only has 11 more matches left before the season ends, currently Leverkusen is a strong candidate to win the Bundesliga even though anything  could happen, indeed Leverkusen position is quite safe, leaving Bayern Munich with 8 points, but Leverkusen must still be able to consistently played in the matches towards the end of the season because will usually be tighter, it is very pleasing to see Leverkusen finally able to break the dominance that has been built by Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and it could be said that Bayern Munich have found a very worthy opponent this season in the league.

I don't know why people keep linking Xabi Alonso with Liverpool, Munich and even now Barcelona, althoghso far  we are haven't heard that Alonso has also expressed interest in coaching Liverpool, Munich, let alone Barcelona, although indeed in his contract clause with Leverkusen, Alonso said that he was ready to leave If you get an offer to train from Liverpool, Munich and Madrid, but I don't think it will be next season to happen, apart from that, there has been no confirmation from Alonso, Bayern Munich and Liverpool that it is possible that there will be a good collaboration between Alonso with Liverpool or Bayern Munich next season.

Heidenheim will probably manage to avoid relegation with many draws. They are currently 11 points ahead from place 16, but only 3 points ahead from place 15. Although they are on the right track, it is important that they pick up 3 points in the next few games. Because once they are at place 15, it becomes problematic in terms of mindset. The next game is against Frankfurt. Their performance in the last few games has not been so great. Heidenheim is playing at home and I believe they can win against Frankfurt.

It seems funny too, how can you draw conclusions like that about Heidenheim? Because anyway, I think so far this season Heidenheim has managed to compete well in the middle of the table and thus, then ofcourse Heidenheim will not be relegated . No matter about the 3-point gap with 15th-placed Bochum this moment. Because anyway, even if for example Heidenheim and Bochum have the same points but ya, the reality is that Heidenheim will still be above Bochum because Heidenheim has a better goal total compared to Bochum.

Therefore, considering about Heidenheim and Bochum also at least Heidenheim still has a good chance to be in a good and safe position . So, I don't think it's right to say Heidenheim will avoid the relegation zone because ya,after all, basically Heidenheim position is also safe enough to be in the middle of the standings or at least outside the relegation zone.

It seems you guys are not happy with the performance that Frankfurt is showing,
Or am I the only one who expected better performance from them?

I think they are definitely capable of showing better performance. So far the performance has been average from them. Almost what you typically expect from them. The problem with this team is that they are not consistent enough throughout the whole season. Generally, they are consistent at certain points of the season. either they start very well or they find good form towards the middle of the season. Having a very good squad and also not having a squad with good depth is responsible for that.

In essence, if Xabi Alonso really wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen then of course, I am sure that next season Bayer Leverkusen will not be as good as this season. Unless, for example, Xabi Alonso still stays at Bayer Leverkusen for next season, then this will make the title competition still a difficult competition. But anyway, if Xabi Alonso really leaves then yes, of course Bayern Munich will again to dominate the Bundesliga even if only with Tuchel.
Of course. The reason is that Leverkusen's current success is thanks to being trained by a genius coach like Xabi Alanso. Since Xabi Alonso became the coach of the Leverkusen team, the performance of his players has improved. Of course if he leaves, Leverkusen's performance will decline and as you say, Bayern Munich's dominance will return. I hope Xabi Alonso doesn't leave next season, because I want to see how far Bayer Leverkusen plays in the UCL under Xabi Alonso. I also hope that even if he leaves, I hope he trains Real Madrid because currently Ancelotti has extended his contract with Real Madrid so I hope Xabi stays at Leverkusen.

But unfortunately, Bayern Munich has decided to terminate Tuchel contract at the end of the season and therefore, we will wait to see who the new coach Bayern Munich will next season to replace Tuchel. Because yes, if Bayern Munich appoints a better coach than Tuchel, then it is certain that Bayern Munich still has a chance to dominate the Bundesliga again next season.
It is natural that Bayern Munich terminated Tuchel's contract until the end of the season, because under Tuchel's coaching he did not develop significantly in either the Bundesliga or the UCL League. Even though Bayern Munich's squad can be said to be luxurious, especially under Tuchel's tutelage, they have managed to bring in great players like Kane and Kim.

Bayern Munich are understandably upset with their coach Thomas Tuchel. Thomas Tuchel is not successful with Munich. Bayern Munich probably won't win the Bundesliga title. The team is 8 points behind Leverkusen. Now Bayern Munich is looking for a new coach. I saw a news a while ago that Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso will not stay with Leverkusen next season. So Xabi's next destination is going to be Bayern Munich?

Alonso now has ‘clear preference’ on next destination after reaching ‘total agreement’

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are interested in Xabi Alonso's squad. As Klopp has already announced that he no longer wishes to stay with Liverpool next season. So Liverpool are looking for an experienced coach. Whether Xabi wants to stay in Germany or take up the new challenge of the Premier League is still uncertain. But I think Xabi is most likely to be seen with Liverpool.
From another point of view, if Xabi leaves Leverkusen next season, with whom else will Bayern compete to hunt for trophies next season, because it is certain that Xabi next successor will not necessarily be able to maintain Leverkusen level of play. Meanwhile, it is very likely that the Bundeliga will return to its original format, where Bayern will again dominate the League for the next decade.

Another hope is of course the classic rivalry between Dortmund and Bayern, but we have seen that Dortmund has always failed to break Bayern dominance in the last decade. The competitive level of the Bundesliga will drop again, because there will be no competition like this season. This does not mean that we are pessimistic, but that is the fact that will most likely happen. I wish Xabi the best in his future journey, while now he has to complete his adventure to win a trophy first.

The choice of where Xabi will land, whether Liverpool or Bayern, both have emotional ties to the Bos Leverkusen. Yes, I think Xabi will be more inclined to go outside the Bundesliga, because if he is successful with Leverkusen, he might prefer not to betray his former team directly.

Well I agree with you that is still early to no how there next season may likely turn out, but however the reason why I had that assumption was that Bayern Munich had underestimated  Bayern Leverkusen on this season but it was surprising for them to see how good Bayern Leverkusen has been, so perhaps that's the reason why I believe that there next season will be challenging because Bayern Munich has learn there lesson so they will never underestimate any club next season so that they can be able to maintain there wining records.

I think the fact is that Bayern are simply not used to the fact that they have such a strong opponent in the Bundesliga. Basically it was a confrontation with Dortmund, who in the end could not even win the most important match for them at the end of last season, this just characterizes the competition in the Bundesliga. But Bayer haven't given anyone a chance this season and Alonso is very close to securing Bayer's first Bundesliga victory. Bayern were used to paying more attention to the Champions League, while in the Bundesliga everything went as usual and they easily managed to dominate all these years.

In essence, if Xabi Alonso really wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen then of course, I am sure that next season Bayer Leverkusen will not be as good as this season. Realistically this is true because we can see that Leverkusen's performance has been quite consistent since the start of the season, especially now that Bayern Munich has many internal problems as reported, the players' relationship with Tauchel is not harmonious and Tauchle's decision to leave the Bayern Munich team at the end of the season.

For the Bundesliga title, maybe Bayern Munich has no chance of defending it this season and I think it is much better for the Bundesliga competition which can be even more competitive in the next season.
I'm quite happy if Leverkusen becomes champion, that doesn't mean I hate Bayern Munich but the competition that will occur next season could be much fiercer so it will have a positive impact on other Bundesliga teams.
There is really no way of knowing if Bayern Munich will lose it 100% for sure. Yesterday I was watching a sports talkshow and one of the presenters said that for Xabi Alonso to be this good with his tactical approaches, he must have been learning everything about the  coaching job when he was still playing professional football and I totally agreed with the presenter's opinion because it's very rare to see a young manager with the same duration of managerial career like Xabi Alonso deliver incredible performances like he's done with Bayer Leverkusen since he took over the managerial position of the club but more precisely what he's achieved with the club so far this season. To think that Xabi Alonso is pushing Bayer Leverkusen with an average squad to the brim of winning the German Bundesliga when we have a team as strong as Bayern Munich in contention tells how good the young Spanish manager is.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp announced that he's gonna leave the club at the end of the current season and a lot of football managers have been listed as favorites to take over from him which Xabi Alonso happens to be one of those names. Xabi Alonso is regarded as a Liverpool legend because of what he achieved with the club and was one of the best performers when the club came from three goals down to beat AC Milan in the final of the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League competition and now that's he's doing exceptionally well with his Bayer Leverkusen team, I think Liverpool management will do anything within their reach to make sure they bring Xabi Alonso to Anfield next season but the challenge I think they're gonna have is his current club Bayer Leverkusen wouldn't want to let go of the Spaniard
Currently, Leverkusen's consistency has put them in the top contending spots for the Bundesliga title. Even though it's not so certain yet as there are still games to determine the victor, there's every possibility that there may be change of hands this season. Definitely they can hold onto the pressure for a while and for Leverkusen, they are not resilient in pursuing that major aim. Alonso and his squad aren't giving up and weekly they put up a whole different energy towards that trophy race. Comparing Xabi's abiliy based on his performances with his team, it'll be fair to admit his superiority in skillset. Leverkusen when Xabi took over had to start from scratch to build up to where they are now. So far Xabi, he has been a good boss and his methods have worked perfectly for Leverkusen. One would wonder how he managed to put up such feat for the team considering the spot he picked them from.

It's one quality that can definitely be found in a good manager. Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good Well it'll only be fair and an added advantage to the German club if their hit maker coach stays the next season with them to keep up with the positive differences he's trying impart to the club. He's this season tried all his best and these bests have gained reasonable and quality feedbacks and results too. He can as well be so much proud of his achievements so far just as everyone else is proud of him too. It's not that easy to take a club out of hiding and placing them at the spotlight.

One would expect a lot more from him and the only way by which this expected lot more can be gotten is via his retainment in the team. Well rumours overtime may have that there may be plans for Munich and Liverpool to sign him up to themselves but yes he may try to create another good difference there but it's only fair that he stays at Leverkusen. For one, I do know they won't want to let him out of their hands yet. The players love him, even after this attained height, it's believed that as a tactical coach, he's got better plans up his sleeves to be unveiled in the coming seasons and definitely, he's one man that'll be watched closely in terms of team performance wherever he finds himself.

It was actually a good opportunity for Stuttgart to open the gap with Dortmund and Leipzig quite more. Because Dortmund lost against Hoffenheim home very surprisingly and Leipzig also lost against Bayern Munich.

But Stuttgart couldn't benefit from this opportunity in the best way.  Sad  They still opened the gap by one more point but they could have done more as it was a home game against Koln. We are talking about an opponent in the relegation zone in the end. Guirassy wasn't bad but it would have been easier for them to win if he also scored in this one. But I don't want to go harsh on him of course as he is still their top scorer in the league.

Yes they couldn't win against Koln, they drew it.

But don't forget, one team that has been able to perform well which was kind of unexpected is Stuttgart.
they barely survived the relegation, remember? And now they are in this third position of the table.

Just for context, they have only one/two less win compared to Bayern Munich. The performance has definitely been pretty incredible from them considering the fact that they were facing relegation in the last season. They have also been able to beat good opponents like Leipzig by a huge margin, if I recall correctly it was 5-2. I guess we can say that they have been a force to reckon with in this season. Wake me up at the next match they will play is against Wolfsburg. And I am pretty certain that they are also going to win that match as well.

The defeat against Augsburg last week made Freiburg one of the Bundesliga teams that failed to win in the last 5 matches. I think this record is inevitable and considering that Freiburg is not as reliable as last season, the results will be even more inconsistent. Currently they are in the middle of the table but that is at least still good enough because they started this season from the bottom place.

I don't think Freiburg will be able to go any further with their current performance and for this season they will only be a fixture in the middle to bottom table. However, the most important thing for Freiburg is that they will not be in the relegation zone this season and at least they can realize that in the next match. We know that the competition between each team will be tighter towards the end of the season and all teams must be aware of this.
Freiburg is not to be expected this season, usually I am happy to see them because they can compete for at least a Europa League spot, but this season they have not shown anything good in their game, and now they are even with a winless record in the last 5 matches.

Next week they will also face Bayern Munich, and that makes their chances of continuing to get defeated even higher. Although Bayern Munich is not in a good condition either, but with their situation worse than Bayern Munich it minimizes their chances of being able to win this match. Their only advantage in this match is that they will play as the host.

While you pals are talking about Xabi and his wonderful results with Bayer Leverkusen and whether he will remain in charge next season or not, I wonder know personally if both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund coaches could remain in position by the end of this season.
Dortmund is unrecognisable with many points loss. Bayern Munich losing the title will be a shock for their fans.
Dortmund not only took a random early goal but failed to maintain their come back. It is pretty disappointing their performance this season..
I don't recognize Borussia Dortmundu in the Bundesliga anymore. They are in fourth place in the league this year. It is unacceptable that they lost 3-2 to Hoffenheim at home. Of course, it is possible to change Borussia Dortmund's coach. I think there are some important changes in the Bundesliga this year. The reason for this is Xabi and their amazing Leverkusen. They are reshaping the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund used to be the second-best team in the Bundesliga for years, but they are struggling to win matches in the Bundesliga this season. I think Borussia Dortmund management should sign new players that will help the club perform well and win matches. And they should stop selling out their best players.

Xabi Alonso had quite a brilliant experience in his youth so that when he now becomes a coach he applies various kinds of knowledge that he had gained when he was still a football player at a young age, Xabi Alonso really understands that one of the keys to victory is in football it is good teamwork and following the coach's directions, because if this small factor cannot be controlled by Xabi Alonso then he will have difficulty winning.
It seems that he learned a lot from his experience as a professional player, especially since he was also part of a big team like Real Madrid for a long time, the instructions he got from the coach who was once a coach for him he learned and now he applies it to the team he handles. Especialy with his presence at Real Madrid, which is one of the teams that has a very good mentality.

Although he doesn't have as many star players as other team, he is well aware that the real strength of a team lies not only in its star player. But the real strength lies in good teamwork and harmony within the team itself. I think that is one of the keys to his success with Leverkusen this season.
He was the good player throughout his career, and he uses his skills and all things which he learns during his playing career and help him to increase his performance here during his last one and half year which bring his team at the top even things are impressive but still I love the best thing which he has done is he bring this success without spending huge funds and without any big star which is also amazing because we have few top quality teams but mostly are settled after spending huge amounts and having big names into squads now we have few interesting things about him is he going to stay or not with most chances he will stay and have another good season with now he will also go into Champions League where another challenge is waiting for him and this could be another experience which will help him in coming years of his coaching career.

Bayern Munich are too relaxed and don't realize that their power in the Bundesliga is being threatened without them realizing it. Maybe Bayern Munich feels that as long as they defend the trophy season after season, there is no longer a big threat from other clubs. So when faced with an unexpected situation from Leverkusen, the Bayern Munich players were not ready for this. I know that in Bundesliga football it is difficult to find opponents who are equal to Bayern Munich for more than 10 seasons, therefore now the era is starting to be overthrown and inevitably the trophy falls into the hands of other people.

Harry Kane actually wasted some opportunities but no player can score goal from all chances he has. It's better than any prediction as Kane score 27 goals after 23 games for Bayern Munich. It's stats of a beast, one of best world-class striker, not a normal one.

Problems in Bayern Munich come from many positions, the coach, goalkeeper, defenders and midfielders. Together they make up a squad that looks to be strong but inside they have many issues that only wait for chances and challenges from opponents to show off.
Most of Bayern Munich problem with their defense not offense, Harry Kane had scored 27 goals of 23 matches in domestic league and almost every games success scoring goals. But weakness and poor performance with the defense make Bayern Munich losses many points and have dropped to 2nd standings behind 8 points left and get scare with their opportunity for winning Bundesliga tittle in this season. Actually main problem with Bayern Munich depend on tactical from Thomas Tuchel, he losses 4 matches in Bundesliga until playing 23 matches and become bad result for him if want get domestic league tittle.

Had decision for leaving Bayern Munich next season I think will get any rotation for main player for new manager next season, I think Bayern Munich need to make some rotation from goal keeper, defender until midfielder position.

Bayern Munich's performance this season has been erratic. More importantly, the Leverkusen team has been performing quite unexpectedly this season. Last season Leverkusen was sixth in the points table. Leverkusen was 21 points behind Munich at the top of the table. No one could have imagined that Leverkusen would perform so well this season.

Bayern Munich are not performing badly. However, Leverkusen's consecutive wins have left Munich behind. Next season, Munich will surely correct their mistakes. And will make their squad even stronger. But I am very happy that the Bundesliga has become competitive. We are not just seeing Munich's dominance as in previous seasons.
I agree with you, Leverkusen consistency this season makes Bayern Munich look worse than the previous season, even though almost every season Bayern Munich suffers several defeats, but in the end they managed to lock up the Bundesliga trophy. The difference this season is that Leverkusen consistency surpasses Bayern Munich achievements, so that Tuchel squad is currently eight points behind Xabi Alonso squad. Everything is not over yet, because the Bundesliga still has several matches remaining, and some of them are important matches in determining the trophy.

With Tuchel having agreed to leave his post next season, Bayern Munich management will certainly build a better squad, and perhaps let go of some names that are too old while looking for a head coach who better fits their long-term plans. Leverkusen revival this season has made most Bundesliga fans even more entertained, because they are able to challenge the defending champions and have the potential to break Bayern Munich dominance. If Leverkusen manages to emerge as champions at the end of the season that's so amazing, ups and downs in performance are a normal thing experienced by every team.
