Leipzig once again showed that they're one of the best teams in the German Bundesliga with their very commendable performance against league champions Bayern Munich yesterday at the Red Bull Arena.

Bayern Munich and for the second time in few months, fail to get a victory from Leipzig. The first match was a 3 - 0 defeat in DFL Supercup in August and now 2 - 2 draw. The points difference are just 1 between them and both Leipzig and Dortmund got closer to the others. Leverkusen profited the most from this draw since they are alone in the first place. Interestingly, Stuttgart is the second for the moment.
Seeing the other teams in the other half, I wonder know how bad Mainz, Koln and Union became this season!

Marco Rose has to be one of the best young German managers at the moment and that's because of how he's been managing his team that doesn't possess the biggest names in football but still finds a way to get good results for his team. Playing out a scored draw against a Bayern Munich side that's been tearing teams apart I think is very good result for Leipzig and they deserves to be commended for their efforts.

This season there have been several teams with not much different levels of strength in the Bundesliga so the competition has looked as fierce as what happened in the Leipzig vs Bayern Munich match.
