I've never used game protect service to confirm.
But, what little I've observed, game protect isn't a scam. As his username says, he's "game protect" and hence he takes on disputes between players and gambling sites
on the demand of the player/site.
Hence, a service which is first asked upon, can't be scam.
As far as I have read and seen, nothing indicates that Game–Protect is a scam.
Firstly, they don't charge anything from anyone, are they scam because they give people hope?!
Secondly, they try to aware people of fraud and criminal online gambling (something people cry from all over the place), and they are also trying to get their money/rights back (people are talking about thousands, if not millions, of dollars, not some satoshis left here and there) or at least wipe some of the damage left from being scammed/stolen.
Lastly, no need for 5 BTC to prove the scam. Simply who accused them of scamming, gets a proof/evidence to support his/her accusation, otherwise it's blatant blabbering and nonsense. Don't lay an accusation based on your opinion! Don't be retarded!
P.S.: And of course, yes, I am an alternative account to the O.P. -_-'
Not true, he asks for an upfront "donation" in order to take on cases where you haven't used his affiliate links. He's done it in the past. You can go through his post history to verify.
Any service needs some fees though.
It's kind of assuring that there's a service where we can go if something goes wrong in this gambling industry where scams are a regular
And, for years, no one could provide any proof of his scams with solid evidences, hence I do think he's clean , very clean
