for me its not a good idea to get rid of bitcoin and buy eth because bitcoin is unpredictable in my opinion hold your bitcoin wait for the right time but that depend on you we all are suggesting here

Still you can probably get away with hodling both.

BTC is unpredictable but it's probably definitely gonna go back to the original price.

Should I get rid of Bitcoins and buy ETH
no, you do not have to get rid of bitcoin. although today bitcoin is falling in price it actually makes you buy bitcoin in large quantities because in the next few months bitcoin will rise to the highest price. but buying eth is also necessary, eth is good for long and short term investment because eth price is always stable.

Bitcoin is volatile but still very profitable and the market is in the sea of red right now it's a good chance to buy more then hodl. Also getting fully rid of it is a bad idea because so far it is the best stable investment for asset and the leading crypto currency with a price value of $10k. You can just diversify your investment to ETH and leave the rest to btc.

Should I get rid of Bitcoins and buy ETH

Its your choice dude, bitcoin is on dump now and eth are still on nearly at its peak. You can also buy separate coin, half to remain in bitcoin and sell your half of bitcoin to purchase an altcoin. Just be patient and there always be a time for bitcoin to get back on track.

Its not the best time to sell your bitcoins because the price of bitcoin is very less. Keep holding them atleast for a year. They will give you huge profit in future. And if you want to invest in etherum then you can invest but not by selling your bitcoins.

according to me now is not the right time to get rid of bitcoins, the bitcoin price is quiet low and if you would do it now it would just be your loss.
also only convert if you have a sufficient amount of money else you would loose a lot in the exchange fee.
it is understandable that eth is growing popular and you want to invest but withdrawing all youre bitcoin money is not a wise choice.

don't just go and get rid of bitcoins. bitcoin is already there and many people are still on it since bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency. And slowly Ethereum got its fame steadily. Just remember to not put all your EGG in one BASKET.

It really depend on how you view the future of bitcoins. Both coins did well in the past so there is nothing to worry if you switch to ETH. But still bitcoin holds the greatest value of the two coins. If I were you I will not sell all my BTC rather half of it will be invested in coins that I think will do good in 2018. and half of it will be stored and just hold on to it. I am sure BTC now is just undergoing price corrections. It will surely rise in the coming months. So there is still a good future for BTC.

If you want to play it safe, just divide your Bitcoin into two or three big coins and then sit on them for a year or two and then see how it goes. You could also use a small portion of your BTC and keep that for investing in promising ICOS that might give you a really good short to medium return and grow your Bitcoin capital. I don't have much Bitcoin but I might use some of it to get into two or three good ICOS this month as my portfolio has stagnated a bit of late.

Not a good idea to get rid  8)of bitcoin for ETH, I think keeping both coins is highly recommended

This is sound advice. I am a big proponent of diversifying. Btc skyrocketed a few months ago and eth did nothing. Then the reverse happened.  Now both are kind of in limbo and no one know what will happen. So holding bot is safer than just holding one  Cool Cool
Diversifying is always good but for the case of bitcoin and eth, equal percentage is not at all recommended. Because, fundamentally both are not competing each other. We can expect eth to crash down at any time as it is not having any business significance expect providing room for scammy ICOs. So, hoarding eth may lead to disasters at any time soon.

At the same time, investing into bitcoin may secure our future. We can see bitcoin prices to hit sky in coming years like million dollars also possible within next two years.

If you want to get rid of bitcoin now, then you are just a fool. Leave and do not touch bitcoin until the end of the year and you will receive income many times more than to exchange it now for other coins. Just be patient or even easier forget that you have it for a while.

Buy btc and eth because it's have different value and we can for that in holding it or do always buy and sell,I think it can happen that eth or btc are both good here in future of crypto so there's always a ways in btc and eth here in crypto to earn money and how to use it for your own good like to transfer money in other country.

Get rid of Bitcoin is not the right thing to do now. Ethereum is good , it is more stable and good for long term although. But you can diversify your investment and start hedging with these two. Bitcoin will be used for high gain and ethereum for stability.

it is reasonable to do so if you are sure that bitcoin will fall and the ether will grow. but now the air is not so good growing. it's easier just to sell bitcoin in Fiat and wait. Because the ether can also fall.

Buying ETH is a great idea but It's not already the time to get rid of bitcoins.
As bitcoin is still the leader and most valuable crypto, it is also a much more stable option for investing.
But I suggest everyone to narrow down their bitcoin holding below 50% of total investment as the era of bitcoin is collapsing slowly.

For the stability it is still wise to hold the investment in Bitcoin there's no sign of worrying cause the coins perform better same the rest of altcoins. But it would also better to diversify the portfolio by adding the Etheruem. Eth has lots of potential to the market it can challenge the number 1 position in near future.

Should I get rid of Bitcoins and buy ETH

I think this would not be a good choice. In my opinion, being patient is really important while the prices going or staying low. Of course ethereum is a really good coin, but I think Bitcoin is the best.

Why would you even consider to exit Bitcoin now of all times?

Bitcoin literally just started rolling out its Lightning Network, which makes it the most efficient means of payment in the world.
