Bitcoin is still considered as the best crypto currency, therefore I think it's not wise to sell it now. The percentation for bitcoin to rise is still huge!

Maybe selling some portion of your bitcoin to invest in ethereum is the best idea. ETH is getting famous each day, and it's relatively safe to invest in

ethereum as well.

Etherum is never an alternative to bitcoin. It doesn't have much ability of ROI like the bitcoin. However, you can break up your bitcoin investment and place some buying ether. But whatever you do, don't ever quit bitcoin for ether if you must invest.

Should I get rid of Bitcoins and buy ETH

Not likely.
If you want to get rid of bitcoin then I would suggest you to keep at least 20% of your funds in bitcoin and the others in ETH and any other too(optionally).
Personally I have a small amount in bitcoin, a small amount in eth and the other amount in other altcoins which I have invested months earlier, I see that you are more interested in ETH and I would recommend investing now even though the price has been increased too much recently but it is spoken that ETH will be switched to POS, and a hardwork/airdrop is coming so it would be a good idea to have the same amount in another altcoin too.

Although the popularity of bitcoin is gradually decreasing, it is not yet time to get rid of it completely. He can still show himself. Everything depends on whether its shortcomings, connected with the slowness and high cost of transactions, will be eliminated. In addition, at this time to withdraw funds from bitkoynov and expensive, and risky. Given the forthcoming fork ethereum, to get a new ETZ coin it would be nice to transfer some bitcoin to the ethereum, or invest its free funds in it. In any case, Ethereum will grow in price in the future.

Why? for what reason? If you can spend your portfolio on 50% BTC and 50% ETH, if not you 20% BTC 50% ETH and 30% other altcoins.

BTC might be dumping these days but its just temporary dip, well if you have the balls to trade BTC to ETH well its your choice,ETH is a good choice too jsut be careful when BTC moves again your eth would bleed.

Buying more ethereum is always a good idea as it is currently extremely undervalued. As both a programming platform and cryptocurrency, it is a good long term buy. However, it is also a good short term investment because of the upcoming EtherZero hardfork on Jan. 19. Basically you get free EtherZero at a 1:1 ratio based on your current holdings of ethereum. Save some bitcoin but definitely get more ETH.

The value of bitcoin has fallen considerably , but ETH has risen a lot, and I think it's time to sell ETH and buy BTC instead of BTC and buy ETH.

Should I get rid of Bitcoins and buy ETH
You can buy ETH and store some BTC. I dont think that now are right moment to get rid of bitcoin. Up to now, bitcoin still is the most valueable cryptocurrency. I think you should get rid of bitcoin when its supply is 18.000.000 or higher.

I don't think it is a good idea. Also buying ETH is a good choice getting rid of your bitcoin is not. The price of bitcoin is very volatile yet still profitable. So I guess just sell some of your BTC for ETH, don't get rid all of your BTC.

Buying ETH is a great idea but It's not already the time to get rid of bitcoins.
As bitcoin is still the leader and most valuable crypto, it is also a much more stable option for investing.
But I suggest everyone to narrow down their bitcoin holding below 50% of total investment as the era of bitcoin is collapsing slowly.
