I made a mistake of getting paid for signature campaign in gambling platform accounts.
When I got my payment, I thought I would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before I initiate a withdrawal. But I quickly lost control of my emotions and ended up blowing the entire balance of my account. This happened more than once, it happened about 5 times as I received money from different sources.
It’s important for me to tell this story so that others don’t make the same mistake I did. This has been a huge life lesson in managing money and emotional self-discipline .

I can't quite imagine what went through your mind and you did that thing? did you do it just because of the money? Your reason seems to be very shallow at that point. But anyway, what was supposed to happen happened.

And it looks like you are the only one who saw it if you did it here in my opinion, I hope it will be a lesson to you and also to others here who are planning to do what you have done here. What you did was really a wrong move.

it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, We think we can do it but it's impossible to control our emotions while playing, Never think of ideas like this, You can be smart in anything but in gambling every smart person becomes
a dumb in seconds, That why i started this thread so other people or users who recently ranked up to full member and joined signature campaign first can not repeat this mistake and learn the lesson from others mistake.
I am locking this thread now.

Before I was in a campaign where payments are directly sent on gambling account.

But I didn't end up the same on OP because I know and understand the risks.

Maybe OP just got carried away as there's a balance right away on his gambling account without the need of extra effort just to start doing gambling. I also think that OP maybe won on the way and decided to just continue to gamble without realizing he now fall on the gambling trap and the rest is history.

I get paid on my gambling account either, so far I didn't get tempted to use it for anything other than personal gain. It's not the problem of the casino, it's most likely a personal issue about your self-control and all that stuff that causes you to unnecessarily spend money for gambling, even your signature campaign winnings.

Honestly I don't think it's a problem either. Money that we get here isn't that much for many, and unless you're in a pinch and/or living in a third world country it wouldn't particularly last you a while. Anywho, long as you don't spend money you can't afford to lose, it's all good. Otherwise you have to look into your spending habits and perhaps perform some budgeting and reframing so you don't spend uncontrollably.

Just to make it clear to you, it's not a mistake getting paid thru gambling platform accounts.

It became a mistake for you because you did a horrible thing. If only you maintain your coolness, discipline, and being a responsible person in gambling, you won't end up with that mess. Again it's not a mistake but rather you are the one who made it a mistake.

From now on, I hope you should know what's the best thing to do not to repeat that mistake of yours.

Yes, that is normal but it still has to be controlled. We always want more, especially when it comes to money. I think we have to learn to be grateful for what we get even though it's not much. I think with what we can, although not too much, we can still look for it by following the same campaign, but if we lose all of it, it will eliminate our previous efforts.

When the people consider the fact related to the money, the people never satisfy with the money. So the gambler will increase their target in the winning from the gambling. So the gambler will get addicted to the gambling in the shortest period.Eventually if the gambler use their money from the income,it will not affect the any people from the gambling addiction. If the gambler use the money by getting loan from all their friends, then loan will become the pressure for the gambler.Later he start to gamble only for the repayment of the loan.

I guess I have never seen this option until reccently and there was a twitter element involved for that SC, which is why I didn't apply.

I have found a new one that seems to be great in crypto play, albeit I have to admit that i've never been a user of these platforms.

Well, for what is worth, you patronized the casino. Let me ask you this, if you had won 5 times, would you share this story with us in this tone? Will you call it a mistake? I don't think so. You know the right thing to do, please do it. First start by changing the signature campaign deposit address. The if at all you want to gamble out of it, remove just 5 -10% for gambling budget. Next thing, do not make it a frequent thing. If you are experiencing losing streak, take a damn break. You are emotionally discipline don't place obstacles in your way.

It definitely is frustrating for you, especially if you are just trying to make some money in gambling. With that kind of experience, you should've stopped when you tried it already but since you have experienced it multiple times, it's going to be a problem.

Maybe to solve this, just don't put or deposit the payment in a gambling wallet or once you receive it, just put it out immediately.

Thank you for sharing this, I hope a lot of people learn from this.

what happened to the gambling rule of only gamble with what you can afford to lose? Putting every money that you get from your income into your gambling account is not the best idea, and you are the perfect example for that. Here are some few things to learn from this event. firstly, emotion control. you got influenced by your emotion which is greed and that has led you to do this situation. if you had control over your own emotion then you could have easily avoided this. secondly, never gamble in order to make money. take it as an entertainment and never put money in front of it. third thing that I want to say is, whether the amount is small or big, if it isn't something that you can't afford to lose then never gamble with it.

if you could have followed the rules and strategies that gamblers use, you could have easily avoided this.

I appreciate your kindness of telling your story but people are different. In the first place, putting your rewards into your gambling account would simply create convenience and would make it easy for you to bet anytime you would want to. It is like placing a bowl of food to someone who is hungry. Self-discipline is a simple word all of us would understand but it is something difficult to imply to oneself. If we cannot instantly work with our actions, atleast we should make precautionary measures on our funds, especially in this industry. The fact that you’ve made this mistake 5 times simply means you are lacking the devotion to manage your emotions and that is something you should really work for yourself.

Wow, so you mean to tell me that you submitted your gambling wallet address to your campaign manager when he requested your payment address? Sorry to say this but that wasn’t a wise decision.

The reason why we always calculate how much we are going to put in our gambling account is to make sure we don’t over spend and trust me if you have up to a million dollars in your gambling account you won’t be aware of when you’ll finish everything and that’s why you see people come to the forum and give stories of how they spent over ten thousand dollars in a week on their gambling account and for you to have been receiving your payment in your account seems like a dumb mistake IMO.

I’d suggest you change your wallet address to your non-custodial wallet address and after receiving each payment you can then be depositing bit by bit into your account rather than just putting everything at once. But if your main purpose of participating in a signature campaign is to fund your gambling account then no issue with that.

Using gambling account in order to receive payment from participating signature campaign is not good decision cause we are all know that not all the time in gambling we can make a profit.  And like what you said above that there's a time when we play and loss all our funds then regret is always in the past. Do it's better to not give our gambling wallet address to our signature campaign manager in order to prevent  such loss like OP did
Gambling account wallet is sometimes a requirement to a signature campaign. The loss also is not created by the campaign or a particular project but rather OP’s impulsiveness in betting.

The campaign is meant to run where participants are paid inside their account in the casino. Which if you are planning to play, its going to be convenient as you won't need to send it to a casino as you are already in a casino. That's one advantage off it. For a campaign participant, I think they know this before joining the campaign. Its not required but feeling it and learn more about the casino you promote is kind of good. You will be able to promote the casino better when you know its services well.

You'll get tempted if you've done this and that is the result.
Thank you for reminding us to avoid this kind of payment option at all cost, we all know the risk of gambling and if you have put your money there weekly there's a high tendency that you'll use it for your gambling activities, not unless that source of income is really meant for your leisure time either for gambling, to buy some foods or for your entertainment purposes but if that money is what you really need for your daily basis, then having this option is too risky.

I often play gambling on the money received from the subscription campaign, but in my opinion it is better to receive rewards on your personal wallet and then transfer them to the account of the gambling site. In general, subscription campaigns is a great way not only to communicate on the forum and increase activity, but also to get enough money to play gambling without the need to tartrate funds from the family budget. In most cases, gambling problems arise when a person loses control of himself, but to improve this skill will have to work on yourself for a long time.
That will prevent him from using his money to gamble because he has to send the money first to his gambling account before he can gamble. But those who receive their payments directly into their gambling accounts have to be really strict in how they use their money because otherwise, they could use all their money without any money left. For this reason, a person must have control over himself and not gamble excessively to still enjoy his money for his family or personal needs. And because gambling can tempt someone to continue gambling, we must know when to stop so as not to lose all our money.

Why was your mistake getting paid directly in your gambling account? Doesn't it really matter if we first get crypto currencies added to our wallet and then deposit it at our favourite casino, or if it comes directly to casino balance. To me it seems to be more a problem for you to control your bankroll than where your money is being stored. Having all the money at the casino might be a problem if we really want to save some of our signature campaign income.  In the end we need to decide for ourselves how much money we want to gamble with each month. For that it doesn't really matter if the money comes from our signature campaign, our longterm storage wallet, or from new crypto purchases we are making with our regular salary. It's all the same money and we should have a plan beforehand on how to spend it. What works best for me is to have a fixed gambling budget for each month and don't have more than that budget stored at the casino. Learning emotional self-discipline is not only important for gambling, we also need it to be successful in trading and investing.

Definitely, this is not for me, because I don't think I could ever make such a mistake by receiving payment to my fun account. It's just like putting your money in a place where there is no actual budget for that money; anything could happen to the money once you lose a little control over yourself. In gambling, we can easily lose our minds and want to overplay with the hope and belief of winning back all that has been lost. Just last week, a friend of mine who works with a local gambling platform in my place said a gambler was gambling with about $100 but was lucky to win $500+ through visual games, but he did not give up playing; he continued until he wasted all the money he had won and even gambled off more. So, OP, you made a mistake and should learn from it. Anyone planning to take the step you took should learn from you.

The mistake you mentioned is actually something that many of us make and cause us to quickly use up our signature payments for no reason. Especially for someone with a secret gambling addiction, receiving signature campaign payments in this way actually encourages them to spend their entire balance. Although it is a money earned through effort when payment is received as online casino balance through a signature campaign our risk threshold increases to double this amount. Gambling is an activity that doesn't cause any harm when played in a disciplined manner just for fun and if it is not played in a disciplined manner as you mentioned. It causes your entire balance to be depleted. Therefore, if possible, it is necessary to receive the signature campaign payments into the cryptocurrency wallet or transfer the payment added as balance directly to the cryptocurrency wallet.

As an additional solution method, gambling with a certain part of the payment amount received and transferring the remaining amount to the cryptocurrency wallet, provided that discipline is maintained, will also help to avoid consuming all the money. Someone who is not addicted to gambling can have fun by gambling with 20% of the payment amount and keep the remaining amount as savings in their cryptocurrency wallet. I hope you can set a good plan for the signature campaign payments in the coming weeks and transfer some of it to your cryptocurrency wallet as savings without spending your entire balance.
