When I got my payment, I thought I would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before I initiate a withdrawal...

This 5-10% made me regret so many times! It was just like that, just a bit more and that's it... and it's not like it's not working, for a day or two, maybe a week and then it comes like a rocket when I get carried away and I just bust everything in minutes, literally! Doesn't matter if it's from a campaign, or if I deposited with the intention to go slow and steady, sooner or later I get in some "deep waters, and I get drowned".

And there's also a moment when I have a good run, but I decide to try slots... those slots can be so deceiving! I love to play them, but they can be so bad sometimes...

All in all, it's gambling. It's interesting to try different strategies and games, we would like to make some profit, but it's not as easy as it seems. Sooner or later we all figure that out. Wink

I made a mistake of getting paid for signature campaign in gambling platform accounts.
When I got my payment, I thought I would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before I initiate a withdrawal. But I quickly lost control of my emotions and ended up blowing the entire balance of my account. This happened more than once, it happened about 5 times as I received money from different sources.
It’s important for me to tell this story so that others don’t make the same mistake I did. This has been a huge life lesson in managing money and emotional self-discipline .
It's a normal phenomena for every human to actually want more despite having little at their expense because we always feel we can grow our balance without even thinking about the downside of what happens when we actually lost that money to gambling in the platform. Resisting such feelings is not actually very hard but after a lesson learnt like this one of yours one can adjust so as to avoid such errors again.

I've never had any problems with being paid to my casino accounts in signature campaigns, although I prefer to get money to my wallet because I don't have to pay any fees when transferring funds. Obviously, I sometimes may not want to play on the casino I advertise because there's a game or a match I want to bet on that's unavailable there. This is especially common when you promote a dice site and you rarely play dice.

We learn from our mistakes and you did just that, OP. If that's something you don't want to do, don't do it. I don't need others to warn me because I know what I'm doing, but good luck to you.

You are trying to exchange guaranteed income for a high risk gamble that is mathematically engineered against you. By all means spend your hard earned money on whatever you like, but it seems a bit silly to receive this money from these companies and hand it right back to them by playing their games. It sounds like you've got a habit forming and are losing control of your spending. I'd suggest finding another hobby or place to reserve your money, but only you have the willpower to change that. People who walk this path can often only break free when they hit rock bottom, so you need to snap yourself out of it early on. You've lost money five times, you should be learning your lesson by now and just accept the money before it is completely gone, instead of chasing it.

The mistake you made was to send your funds to a casino. And you can not predict your wins so believing that you can increase the amount is another blunder. Gambling is unpredictable so you can not forecast your profit margin. It will be better to send only money you want to use for gambling in the casino. So the ideal thing to do is to fund your gambling account periodically based on your budget and when you lose all overtime,  you shouldn't put in more funds from other sources. You have to take necessary precautions before it becomes a normal event. And the first start should be to change your campaign wallet address.

I stick on the weekly budget on that. But you really can't plan increasin the amount as that's not really up to you if it increases or not. It's about luck and you don't plan on luck. And trusting you would have luck is just, well, pointless. If you want to spend money, rather make a rule on how much can lose, instead of planning how much you need to win before quitting.

From what I could understand, you didn't have self control over your money, but that wasn't your only problem, the fact that you couldn't play with only money that you could afford to lose was the most problematic part, now if you don't You had no intention of using the money from campaign payments for other things and you were just saving it and it was money you didn't need, so taking it to play might not be a problem as long as you could tell yourself that you can stop whenever you want, you can play with low stakes. So that would be having self control

but if you played thinking about profits, but lost, you started playing again thinking about profits and losses, then you have problems with games and the solution right now would be to stop playing for many months, even if you tell yourself that there is no need to stop for many months because you are already good and in self-control, but the truth is that you can easily have thoughts of playing with the intention of making profits and this time it may take longer to stop, as long as you are exposed to gambling and continue playing, then the The chances of you playing again with money you can't afford to lose will be high.

the addiction starts like this, at first the person thinks it was a mistake, and that it is enough to stop playing for a few days and then start playing again but controlling themselves, then everything is resolved, but things are not that simple, what has happened is that the person loses control, then goes back to playing thinking that just playing in moderation will not have a problem, but the person is going back to playing with the goal of making a profit, that is the problem, every time he loses money, he will put in more money and lost. op are you still playing or have you stopped playing?

Wow, so you mean to tell me that you submitted your gambling wallet address to your campaign manager when he requested your payment address? Sorry to say this but that wasn’t a wise decision.

The reason why we always calculate how much we are going to put in our gambling account is to make sure we don’t over spend and trust me if you have up to a million dollars in your gambling account you won’t be aware of when you’ll finish everything and that’s why you see people come to the forum and give stories of how they spent over ten thousand dollars in a week on their gambling account and for you to have been receiving your payment in your account seems like a dumb mistake IMO.

Yes, it was a stupid mistake and I thought I would withdraw it after I received it in my gambling account but it was out of my control due to greed and recovering the initial small payment I received.
Because of that small amount I lost more than this many times.
I’m sharing this because a lot of smart people also act like stupid sometimes.
It’s easy to say but it’s hard to follow through every time.
Only Humans make mistakes but some mistakes lead to major disasters. In Gambling Many of us make mistakes in many ways but if we are aware before making mistakes, we can cure those mistakes to a large extent. I was depositing my money in a gambling account at one time though it was temporary. I made a decision to keep the money in the platform till a certain amount but once a moment all my planning came to an end. After losing a bet I lost some amount but I was pursue to recover that amount and subsequently lost all my money. There is no basis for emotion in this area. Although this incident was long ago. However, there is nothing to lose if you learn from your mistakes and aware for the future.

If you got paid mistakenly, what is the first step you took, did you reported that to the gambling team or the signature campaign manager you work for, also sometimes we made mistakes from our own self, will it be good for us to have same e of what we did to others, it may also be that such isn't a mistake as you've thought, they may only rewarded you for an eligible bonus you qualify for, but I doubt having this same occure repeatedly.

Where did he say that he was paid mistakenly ?  He said that he was paid in weekly pay in gambling platform.

However my question was did he had a choice to either get this signature campaign income in his personal wallet or gambling site ?  I don't think that we get this choices to decide. For example, i am in stake signature campaign, and i get paid directly at the stake platform and i am happy for that. I know what i have to gamble and what i have to withdraw. People should have control over their actions and not regret if they lose their signature campaign earnings in gambling. Also there are no wagering requirements to withdraw.

You are in the forum for quite some time now and I wonder how you made such a mistake.
It's sad to know it took you 5 times to understand your mistake. You should have learnt it at most 2 times blowing up your account.
But I am glad you at least acknowledged it now. Change your campaign address to a self custodial wallet and set up a strict budget for gambling.

There are campaigns in the forum where the manager sends their payment to the casino account actually. Many of those users are likely using their weekly pay to gamble too. Well, it's that easy to gamble especially when they see games they use to play or sports matches that they think an easy win. Casinos also want the pay to be sent to their account address so they will be playing. It's for that purpose also, clever and they keep the BTC circulating in the casino.

There are sob stories but there are also success stories. It all just depends on how you can resist and manage the funds you have.

You don't have an exact figure but given your current forum rank, I assume that you're not losing a lot from that mistake but nonetheless, you're going to need to change that habit of yours because money wasted would still be money wasted but don't dwell too much on that mistake OP, you've learned already so it's best if you finally move forward and don't ever do that option of getting paid again.

OP, this is not wise because there is a high probability that you will use part of the money for gambling=g if not all. Some casinos will like you to wager before you can withdraw any funds that is been deposited in their casino, which makes it compulsory for you to loss part of your signature pay. Another thing is that you might end up not cashing out until you have exhausted your funds because gambling is tempting when you don't have self-control over it, you must fall for it by keep on gambling till you will have no funds left. Your action shows that you are a core gambler and don't care if you use all your signature pay to gamble, that was why you used your gambling wallet to receive funds from your signature campaign. I hope that you have learnt your lesson, and you will create a noncustodial wallet that you will be using to het you pay, it is not also advisable to leave your funds in a centralized platform.

That's why some casinos send campaign payments to your casino wallet by default, because they know some people won't be able to control themselves and some of that campaign money will eventually come back to them. If you ask if that's bad, the answer is not really, it's smart and you as a gambler shouldn't worry about it.
Treat your campaign money like free money to gamble with. You must have a job, so that money should be like a side job to you. Don't get attached to them. Would you rather lose the money you earn at work?

I do not see this as a mistake. Of course you are a gambler and hence you took part in a gambling signature campaign and also opted to get your payment directly in gambling site. This would have help you as otherwise you would have send money to gambling site yourself to gamble and hence incur the transaction fee.
Once you are gambling with your money, you already know that it is a risk. You can either make or break it. If you double your money by now, you would never have regretted.

Yes, if you are not a gambler, and you took risk when you do not know what you were doing, then it is a wrong decision on your side. Also since this happen more than once, means you do not get any lessons from your mistakes and repeat the same thing again and again.

You made two mistakes here op. First one is the crucial one which is storing your hard earned funds in gambling sites which is never advisable since any of these sites can shut shop and run at any time(Eg: Betnomi etc).

Second one is chasing losses which is a classic mistake. Gamble only what you are willing to lose.

When you withdraw your momey that casino platform cut a specific amount of transcation fee that's why you get 5-10% less amount when you withdraw. If you are interested in taking your signature payment on gambling site it is your personal matter I myself get signature payment on gambling site but it is not a problem for me.  If you find it a problem then you can take leave from the signature no one will pressure you to continue the signature.

I am really curious about what was running through your mind when you decided to do this, especially the part when you thought you would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before withdrawing. I am sure you must have realized at some point that depositing funds on a gambling site would most likely result in your fund being subjected to a wagering requirement that gambling usually implements to battle money laundering.

also, wouldn't this put your gambling account at risk of multi-accounting by possibly becoming connected through crypto transactions? I am saying this because I remember reading(forgot what thread it was) that gambling sites use crypto transactions to check if an account on the same site is connected to one another.

This is a very big mistake you have made. But why did you submit such an address to get paid from the signature campaign when you know that if you have money in the account, you will use it to gamble? That is wrong, mate. I will advise you to change the wallet so that when you receive the payment, you can use a little bit of the money to deposit in your gambling account. I think that will be better since you can't control your emotions if you see money there; you must gamble.

However, this is one of the reasons why someone should stop living with money in his or her gambling account for a long time because the emotion will still be there, and you will be using the money, small and small, and gambling with it because of emotion. Once you log in and see that there is money inside, you will like to gamble, and before you know it, the money will be finished.

It’s very important that you let other people know about what you have experienced so that if others are doing the same, they may find a solution to it. I believe different opinions will be brought up in this thread, which will help. But that will be for people who do the same thing or have the same feelings about how they treat gambling. The fact that they may get other users who also submit their gambling address, but they are not using their signature payment for gambling completely; they only received payment with the account, and they move the money to another account, is a wise decision, so if you also follow that step, it will help you.
