Yes it's not easy. Although Gambling doesn't seem like the regular addictions like Cigarettes and drugs etc... but it's a heavy physiological addiction and the need for it for some might be the same like cigarettes to others.. You would need serious effort and if possible, some friends help and social activity to leave it.
It will never be an easy habit to give up because gambling addiction is a drug on its own... and stopping this
will require determination and self displine as it can never be fought by our friends or family, its our own battle to fight to put ourselves on the right track.
I think it should be it can be fought with the help of our friends and family even though it's our battle, they will be a big help to us. No man can stand alone by himself if he is a complete gambling addict. Giving up alone will not going to help you because that's why you are addicted, you got it alone and you need some back up on it to make it easy.
Iron clad willpower is needed, only a few can acquire this on their own.
If you know an addict, help him.
Also, an idea is to replace the addiction with virtual gambling (without real money)
Yes it's a good alternative if you are an addicted gambler and you mostly lose everything you've got, you can play those virtual gambling or use the play money that casino's are offering. It's just only for fun but still I find it you will be having the crave of real gambling instead of having an easy way to quit it
It would definitely be best to quit alltogether if you're an addicted gambler since replacing your addiction might tempt you to bet with it again.
If you are going to choose the best replacement of your addiction by simply choosing those good activities, well you won't be betting it again. Quit with your winning and don't ever try to gamble again coz' it might lose you all of your profit at the same time if you are not going to do something about it.
The thing is we are not winning, most of the time we lose, so how could we make some profits, right? That is why it is a really a good idea to quit gambling and replace it by something which is safer, for example is this Signature Campaign, you are not going to risk anything on this one, you only to dedicate your efforts and time on posting in the different threads where you are allowed to post, just like that.
If we are going to keep on trying onto something which we know that we are not going to get anything from it, unless we are going to win most of the time, then the possibility of doubling our money and if we could do or try other things aside from gambling then we are not going to lose our money anymore.
