There should be no issues with wallet syncing if you have these GLC supernodes in globalcoin.conf - they can handle thousands of connections.

If you do have issues then perhaps port 55789 is blocked by your firewall/router.

There's been a 500 mh/s miner hopping on GLC in the last days.
Good news is that the difficulty adjusted pretty quickly and most of time he was mining at below LTC's profitability. Cheesy
