please monitor your temperatures if your using as many threads as you have cores (or double if hyperthreading) no one needs to melt their rig over a new algo. im running 10/12 as I wont be near my cpu overnight Cheesy

Is there a version of minerd available with the yescrypt algo?

When messing with the pool config under mining in the wallet it said it was looking for minerd. Before a pool is available should be able to point multiple machines on network running minerd to one wallet running as server, increasing hashing power for solo mining instead of running them individually.

Go Jupiter!
OK i have it set on 4, It says 138hash a sec... I am on a I3 laptop, just having some fun. Do I even have a chance to find a block?
Yes. Just not a great one. But, hopefully I'll figure the stratum out and we can pool.

As many as you can for highest speed, less if you still want to still use the computer

Any idea how long before we get a pool up?  Feel like I am wasting electricity now:-(

Hey IMJim.  I don;t have a timeline yet.  We have some people in the community working on it. We will def let everyone know when we have a pool up.

 If you like we are in IRC.

Hey cubydu.  You need to download the blockchain again.  But keep the wallet.

I have several servers with same wallet.dat

if you are running Ubuntu servers you need to remove the old blocks on all the servers. The file path is ./home/username/.globalboosty

https://github.com/GlobalBoost/GlobalBoost-Y/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1107
"static const int64 nTargetSpacing = 10*60; // Globalboost: 10 minutes"

Also note...
 int64 nSubsidy = 50 * COIN;

    int halvings = nHeight / 240000;

    if (nHeight <17291)
        nSubsidy = 347 * COIN;

until block 17291 the subsidy will be 347 as we've seen. then it will become 50coin per block after Cheesy
