yes same problem happened to me few days ago. Stuck at block 125836, Not syncing. Is the coin dead??
xGOx is definitely not dead, you might be on the wrong chain or just a simple wallet restart might fix.
First try a restart and see if that fixes the issue.
If that doesn't work then try to resync the wallet
