I think it needs to be edited or added to the FAQs, how much exactly the minimum limit can be traded or swapped?

Hmm, I've seen many posts regarding the same point on this page, well for an average trader minimum limits should be constant like we see on the centralized platforms where $10 is a standard limit for every pair, I'm not saying it should be $10 here as well but in order to attract more traders the minimum trade amount should be as lower as possible.

I'll try some pairs soon, to check the fees structure as well.

Just a quick review, in terms of the user interface its user friendly and its easy to navigate the platform without too much hassle also I like being creative in the part "How it works" it gives an explanation and imagery at the same time for the viewers, also the website is responsive, I tried to exchange some of my BTC into other coins in terms of being responsive with the coin you choose it takes like almost 5 - 7 seconds before it loads the specific coin I choose well in my part its not too much an issue, next is once you choose a coin there's a network under this I guess its ideal if you add a plain text or header text with it as indicator to choose a network. Also it detects an invalid address which is good too. In terms of transaction I don't have a trouble yet beside on the minimum transaction needed.

I think those values are way to high to average users.  Can't this be changed?

Although they fix an average of $160 as a minimum for most trading pairs, most of the complaints about them were not due to that.

This platform is a good option for those who want to search for a trading pair that may not be available on most platforms, so changing the average minimum to $50 will increase the number of transactions.

It is a nice design and the fact that the platform supports so many different coins is a very good advantage over the competitors in this category. I specifically liked the Tether support on all the chains it exists on.

But like all of them this platform has the same disadvantage which is the offered exchange rates, which is the "hidden fee" for using such services. Fore example right now the bitcoin exchange rate is between $2000 and $3000 below the market value depending on the amount of bitcoin you want to sell (the smaller btc the bigger the gap).

For example on the other platform that is advertising on this forum as well exchanging 0.01 bitcoin would give you $598 (current price is 60k so $2 fee) but on Godex it will give you $577 ($23 fee). That is too expensive.

Farewell, Leo
The UI looks good, as a typical quick coin-swap service. However, I'm disappointed about the following:

  • You don't accept LN.
  • You generally don't accept small amounts. The min BTC deposit has to be 0.003, and the min XMR deposit has to be 1. Your main competitor (eXch) allows exchanging negligible amounts.
  • You don't clarify to the user what the percentage of the amount will be paid as a fee. I've been searching this for a couple of minutes, and I couldn't find the pricing of fixed and variable rates. (Not even in the FAQ.)
  • You seem to me a little bit more pricey. For example, with 1 BTC you get 939 LTC in your platform, whereas in your competitor I could get 949, which is 1% of the amount, but still, quite a lot for large amounts. (However, you do charge less for XMR, and that's a good thing.)

That being said, I wish you the best.  Smiley

I have translated this topic to portuguese:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5506789.new#new

I was going to make a SWAP to test the service, but I was impressed by the minimum amounts!!

Minimum  1.7 SOL = 250 USD
0.06 ETH = 155 USD
0.003 BTC = 180 USD
2.38 LTC = 150 USD

I think those values are way to high to average users.  Can't this be changed?

According to the FAQ , the minimum amount should only exist to cover mining fees

blockchain requires to pay so called Miner Fee, so Godex.io has a minimal transaction volume to cover it.

**In BTC since 2013**
I don't usually have other currencies besides Bitcoin. So I end up not having many changes to make.

But, I was checking, and although Chia (XCH) is listed on the website, it is not possible to exchange it for another currency. Although on the currency page, indicate whether it is possible to exchange.
How Can You Convert Chia ?
The easiest and fastest approach to exchange a coin is to make an trade on the platform Godex.io. You shouldn’t  to register and confirm your identity. You can simply go to the site and exchange the  Chia for 1 of the 300+ other coins.

Is there a way to change Chia or not?

I don't know if this bug has been mentioned before (but I did a quick check over this thread and didnt find it)

If you try to generate the widget inside the affiliation page (https://godex.io/stats/widget), you get this error:

https://godex.io/stats/widget

The widget is quite nice, but this bug might be problematic for users who wants to add the widgets to their pages/blogs

Website looks clean and I will test it in a few days, once I got a little more time.

Also love the decent L2 support:

I would even add a warning message, which will warn the user which network is selected and to possibly check again.
I assume and hope that something like that is already present when you enter the receiving address where you want to receive the exchanged coins. If you enter an address from network #1 but you have selected network #2 of the same crypto asset you should get some type of warning to notify you that you are about to make a mistake.

I just want to ask anyone here I am trying to exchange my BTC to Ronin, XRP, USDT even other cryptos it seems the minimum limit is $160 equivalent?

Is there any option where you can exchange BTC or dogecoin below $160(equivalent)? I read the FAQ it said there's no minimum exchange limit I read it under "What is Godex?". quoted below.

There is no exchange limits. Only minimum amount of payment for your transaction to be included in the network.

I liked the interesting advertising tools you can use on your resources by the way. For example, a widget like this one:

yes, it's not bad, although "iframe" is not the most desirable choice in 2024, there are more adaptable and responsible solutions.
When you say a more responsible solution, how do you mean:
Is this due to the fact that, iframe HTML don’t work with several webpages, given that it’s disabled by a lot of them or there are some other reasons to this?

However, it’s a common widget we’ve got here and people sometimes like to stay traditional as it’s an easy to understand display.

Perhaps a click on the field for entering the deposit address can call up the network selection function.
I would even add a warning message, which will warn the user which network is selected and to possibly check again.
Yeah, some form of automation could help in this regard, having to generate a network based on input address and room for possible selections and a warning sign that would prompt users to go over input details due to irreversible nature of transactions to a wrong address.

...but it would be more easy if you guys would have added a way to directly change the network as I have to select the token again and then have to change the network type.
Good catch! I didn't notice this the first time I visited the exchange. It should be an easy fix to do this. A dropdown menu could be added next to the network the same way we have it for coins. A simple click on it would display all available networks and allow customers to switch between them.

Payment Gateway Allows Recurring Payments
The exchange is great and I loved it but it would be more easy if you guys would have added a way to directly change the network as I have to select the token again and then have to change the network type. And I visited almost every page but in order to go to exchanging page I have to visit homepage I hope if a exchange or something similar type of option given in the navigation menu on top. Although by clicking on logo we can reach the exchange page but a separate option will add beauty to the UI  Wink

Sometimes I have to change usdt(matic) to usdt(tron), but I did not understand how to do this. If usdt is selected in the sending line, then it is impossible to select usdt in the receiving line.
It's an excellent way to build trust in a service, I am shocked to see the reviews given to godex on trustpilot. I checked other coins as well like bnb (BSC) to BNB (ETH) and the exchange did not selected the same type of coin or token. Which means they have not allowed the exchange of same type of coin into same type but different network although it can be a great feature to add.

I often use such services, and to avoid problems now I try to check AML addresses with services

According to reviews, I found very few cases where KYC is requested

I am not a fan of the exchange rate and fees of this service. It's more than a 3% difference from the market rate for a BTC to USDT swap.

Godex seems to me as the new way to exchange your crypto with 100% privacy because it doesn't require any KYC or registration and that means anyone can use it without any issues. I haven't yet tried it but surely I'll give it a try and I'll write a review about it.
After a quick look through their Terms of Use, I also didn't find any mention of identity verification, but there is something else I found interesting. The exchange might be conducting some sort of risk assessment regarding the source of your funds. Here is what the ToS says:

Quote
You are prohibited from sending Godex digital assets that have been directly or indirectly obtained through any criminal or fraudulent activity, including terrorism or tax evasion. Godex reserves the right to refuse, postpone or cancel a transaction, which it perceives as a risk associated with criminal or fraudulent activity.
How would the exchange know if my money is associated with some degree of risk if it isn't conducting some sort of analysis or relies on a third party that provides it with such information?

In the past, I actually thought they had certain instances where they would need KYC verification, but it seems I was wrong after skimming through their terms of service and privacy policy. I still wonder why they do not feature in the Kycnot.me ranking website. They could probably be among the top ranking sites there with a good high score.
