I was always using SimpleSwap and today I wanted to give it a try for Godex. And that was bad decision.
Dear Hoek,the exchange that you are reporting about was not completed because we did not received the deposit for it.
You have sent Monero to provided address, but the Payment ID was not included. Using payment id or any other destination tags if they are provided on our site is mandatory. We inform our users about this on the stage of address generation: DEPOSITS WITHOUT PAYMENT ID WILL BE LOST.
Payment ID is an important part of the address and missing it equals to sending coins to the wrong address.
We do not aim to deceive any of our users, we just want it to be understood that the information about the importance of extra tags is listed on our website for a reason. And we inform users about this information on the exchange page . Ignoring this information will lead to undesirable consequences like these.

If Godex allows its clients to perform a transaction that may not be completed successfully, which deliberately exposes users to a loss of funds, it is simply unprofessional.
I have been exchanging cryptocurrencies for a long time using competitive platforms, and none of them has ever allowed me to finish the transaction if any required fields have not been correctly completed. I do not know if such an action is intentional or a bug, but this platform in my opinion deliberately exposed me to the loss of funds. I do not recommend it and I will never use it again. A painful lesson cost me about 100 bucks and I hope it will be a free warning to other users.

I wanted to exchange Monero to BTC.

It says it's complete but I didn't receive my BTC.
And Godex support says in email: "unfortunately, we can not refund the coins that we did not received"
So, it's easy to check if they received it or not. From transaction link you can see destination address, which is:

I am using it since Zencash has been added. I like the site itself and its user interface, the main reason I am using Godex.io is we don't need to sign up to create an account. I know very soon we will have Visa/Mastercard hence I wanted to ask: will we have a KYC/AML verification once Godex adds Visa/MC ?
Thanks for the feedback! The integration of visa and MasterCard payment systems is planned for the near future. But the adoption of KYC/AML policy is a mandatory requirement of VISA and MC. Therefore, we decide whether we want to deny our users of privacy (which is highly undesirable way and it contraries to the philosophy of our service) for the implementation of banking payment systems. A possible solution is a compromise, consisting in a premature warning of users about possible personal data requests, but with an option of remaining anonymous without the use of cashIm seeing out similar exchangers do pop-out recently which do completely offering the same where shapeshift can do. The feature i do like on exchange coins into other coins where you can easily see available coins to be converted yet they would be displayed white for available and gray is for non.

The website looks interesting. Are you sure you're going to survive for long without implementing the KYC procedures? Governments are actively banning such exchanges these days!
I wish you could have added more Bitcoin Forks like BIFI/BTF/BTH. They have a huge market but no exchanges are accepting deposits yet. Also, is it peer to peer? Where should I find recipients from?

The upper limit for exchanges is not set, but if you are going to make a transaction of more than 5 BTC, we recommend asking support about this first, because for some rare coins, the exchange may take longer time.
We do not have a Central office, our team is situated in such countries as Ukraine, USA, Italy and Russia.
