Work on the production buildings (especially wood/stone/meat) first... the wood is the easiest to upgrade as ONLY one piece of road need to be upgraded to get the wood building's requirement done. (the one in between the town center and the wood production center)...
Clay/Iron can be delayed until you need to do the higher level roads, vegetables are quite easy to buy in the market, so focus on meat/wood/stone whenever possible.

Are you constantly producing goods? You can every 3 hours at your level, as well as hire workers.
I started today to upgrade all my roads and buildings.I have few 2 levels buildings and roads for now.

By the way guys, I suggest you don't build a gold mine until all of your resource buildings are level 4 - 5.
Your suggestion is correct and this is exactly what i suggest to in the TIPS on the first post of the thread, because even if the final goal is to mine as much gold as possible, buildign the gold mine early is a waste of resource that end up only in slowing the game progress.
First obtain meat, woods, stone and population, then go for gold

Hello Beymond, you can build the goldmine whenever you want, bbut is not suggested to do this until you upgrade your existing building to max. New buildings are a waste of resources in the beginning.

I know that the game can seem in the beginning hard to master, but the logic for manage it is very easy, just need a little learning, like every game.
