I am gathering XEM, EOS and IOTA, so the new technology coins. Also some small amounts of private coins like monero and zcash.
I would say doge, it hasn't died yet and I feel like its the easiest coin to get into for a noobie.

Ripple it's pretty good for long term. Also NEO a very technical coin, but you should wait a correction i just want to invest my BTC with a good Altcoin for longterm investment,, with proof of stake system

ETH, ETC and SIA is most hot long-term investment for me.
I'll go with monaco, ripple and plr and been holding them for months and I can say it will go further as what I assume as I'm planning to hold it until the moon and take profit by next year.

Stratis: essentially doing something very similar to what Ethereum is doing - smart contracts and Siacoin: Distributed data storage. An alternative to Box, Google Drive. The big corporations would not have any access to your data in this point.
Altcoins that you can hold so long in fact very little. In my opinion this is the wave, BMC and Comsa.
In case it was not mentioned by anyone, I would suggest you have a look into VTC.

With regrads to fundamentals, ethereum and ripple has hooked big businesses. So long term wise, your money is safe with them.
I also agree, Etherium is really a good altcoin to invest with. It is trusted than any other altcoin. For me aside from bitcoin, ETH is the second best coin to keep.
Not just because it has the name in the digital word but also because it has a good value in the market. And you can earn from it when you try trading.

well just read COSS s revenue sharing system it looks like really good investment for long term. they making weekly payment for token holders,im still trying to get more info about that system it looks promising.

KOMODO already raised. Has less potential.

bitshares? is this coin focus on decentralized exchange.
