For a speculative position I would consider Mothership (MSP). Smart guys looking to do something interesting.
ETH, Waves, Minexcoin, Grid+, ICON, RootProject
Bitcoin is still the most reliable one. Everyone knows bitcoin. And that what makes it easier to trust. So that's the right one. But due to its popularity, it also makes it to be prone to scams and other bad stuffs. Just be careful and cautious. Good luck.
Indeed, for long-term investments, bitcoin is still a major investment destination, but surely there are some altcoins that I think are good for investments like Eth, XRP and Waves maybe in the next 1 or 2 years will certainly benefit from those investments.
The only good coin I could think of that's really good for long term investment is Bitcoin, you can't go wrong with this coin. Or try Ethereum too, it's one of the best coin by far next to Bitcoin in my own opinion.
What do you think about waves. The price is low but the quality matches the Etherum.for long-term investments Bitcoin, Etherum or waves have a good future in my opinion.

It seems i can only recommend clamcoin because it includes very interesting coin POS. Although price doesn't fluctuate high, but believe me we can enjoy benefits of it.
once i only think of btc as a long term investment in cryptos, but now i will add bcc and eth, if for 1-2 years, i will add omg and mda which are new coins with great potential

Looks like have a good potential. Considered white paper, realistic goals, developing market, fresh idea with low competition so far, working product, good team. They have everything a good project should have. Make sure to consider this ico for a long term investment.

Since you seem to be a long term holder then any coin in the top 20 is fine, just look for the one you like the most and the one that could get the most growth and go with it, but personally I will not invest everything in a single coin the best thing you could do at the moment is to invest in several coins at the top that way if one of the coins begin to underperform you don’t lose all your investment. i just want to invest my BTC with a good Altcoin for longterm investment,, with proof of stake system

Musicoin is the best in my opinion. There is only this coin presenting the music and therefore, when cryptos are adopted by people, musicoin will be used widely in the musical economy and its price will surely in the top 20 cryptos. If you want to buy, go on bittrex and buy as many musicoin as you can. Otherwise, you can mine it if you want to

Ark could be a nice investment though some people call it a scam because there isn’t that many people in it.
