ETH might struggle in the short term, even though it's one of the best long-term investments you can make. Most of interest is centered now in BTC which is about to launch in various renowned exchanges.. so instituional money will mainly flow into BTC, what I think people miss though is that after BTC has reached maturity, they'll all focus on the next big thing, which obviously is ETH. It might take a couple of years but your investment will definitely pay off, my recommendation is to stack up as much as you can and hold.

I got some eth right now but i'm planning to buy btc instead, have lost my faith in eth. now just waiting for btc to drop a bit(hoping!)

With the motivation to make ETH as alternative investment in bitcoin and despite the condition still has potential experience weakness. I feel always good time to buy more ETH. Because we all know potential of ETH itself. Dare to take risks or lose opportunities.
Ethereum is mostly sideways right now and it can go lower before the 2x fork or if the news about what will Ethereum foundation/community decide to do about the multi-sig wallet issue: https://paritytech.io/blog/security-alert.html will be negative (I don't seem to find anything positive about it really - they can either include the fix with the Constantinople hard fork (threat the whole situation as too big to fail) and loose reputation of the immutability of blockchain itself OR leave those hundreds of millions of dollars locked forever and possibly suffer from a bad news impact when many projects will loose funds and people will loose fate into ICOs/token sales all together ...
It seems to be the most stable cryptocurrency. But its price appreciation seems to not of followed the rest of the market. While everything has increased, ethereum has stayed put. Everyone is waiting for a jump but to no avail. I'm sure it will happen when a few more updates and announcements happen.
I believe it could be a good time today, because ethereum is vert useful nowadays, and ethereum is blockbuster in the market now, because it has a potential of being a good coin,so if you buy ethereum you can be rich when it increases in a short period of time.

I think yes, if I could invest all my income to ETH then I will as soon as possible while the price is practically lower than next year.
