We are closing to the bitcoin halving event and the orice has already startes to act to the event as expected. We may now see a significant increase in BTC price as well. Is it a good time to invest some money on some altcoins, obviously on the top altcoins only.
It is never too late to invest in altcoins. Halving the BTC will bring a longer-term price increase for BTC and implicitly for most altcoins, but not enough to consider that a new bull run will come. As the costs of mining equipment and production infrastructure are high, the halving of BTC / block, from 12.5 to 6.25, should clearly bring a price increase, so that supply will decrease and demand will be at least the same. Let us remember, however, that we are going through a difficult period globally, due to the pandemic.
