In my opinion No, BTC halving is near. So we can expect some pump in BTC. As usual, if BTC pump all Alt dump! (BTC pair) So i think this is not the right time. Wait and watch the market before taking your decision.

Bitcoin halving is one of the fundamental factors which has a strong influence on market movements. To achieve ATH, it usually takes months, based on historical data from the previous halving period. Although the crypto space is hard to predict but in this case and with what's expected soon I think there is a good reason to hold some altcoins, mostly major altcoins which have proven to be good and serious because no one will blindly follow most new coins when it is obvious many of them won't be part of the growth that comes with halving. Nevertheless don't be too caught up with it that you tend to forget when to exit as there is every possiblity that whales will take advantage of every opportunity they are faced with.

On a good day bitcoin should do well after halving, and according to previous chart after halving, but there are some conspiracy theories flying on twitter, that things might change, I will suggest that one should chill a little bit before taking position so as not to be underwater With the current situation, we don't know what will happen. True that, but take a look at some of the recent IEOs on Binance, they gave high returns to those that bought the IEO, 2x at least. Only a greedy person "that bought the IEO" would be expecting 10x or maybe 100x. I'm ok with any return as long as it's a profit.

So many people will be deceived into FOMO during this bitcoin halving if care is not taken. Although there might be a price increase as there is correction presently, it will get to a point that whales or those with ore funds who sometimes determine the price in the market, might dump what they bought at a lower price.

I once read that the value of Bitcoin is inversely related to the value of altcoin. This means that when the value of Bitcoin increases, that of altcoin decreases. I really don't believe this as the market is inherently volatile and anything should be expected. I would personally prefer to get more Bitcoin now than settle for altcoin when I know that the bitcoin would experience a substantial increase soonest
You should believe that. When the price of bitcoin rises, all investors will panic sell altcoins to move to Bitcoin. So altcoin prices always decrease in altcoin / BTC trading pairs. 
There are more than 10,000 different coins and tokens in existence right now and you can't really generalize all of them. Among these huge number of cryptocurrencies, there are very promising ones and those which can be considered as "shitcoins". You need to take a decision regarding investment on a case to case basis. It is not possible to have a single policy regarding all the alts.

maybe you have a point, to invest the money you have in Altcoin that has good value, it makes sense, now is the right time to move forward.This phenomenon only occurs 4 years once in this case, if you miss this phenomenon, surely you have to wait for the next 4 years in this case, I hope for 2020 this will be better for bitcoin and other crypto.

I think there is still time to wait until the price drops again because I see the price of bitcoin is still difficult to go back up even though approaching halving it will not make it easy to raise the price of bitcoin, because if you enter at the current price then it will make you stuck because bitcoin prices can collapse instantly and return to prices before rising like this.

I think so myself.And I've invested a lot in Alter Coins. With the way Bitcoin is starting to pump, the price of Alter Coin is also rising.So now some investment can be made.But keep in mind that you have to invest lazy money in alter coins. And you have to understand money management and invest.
