Those individuals saying Bitcoin will dip to 12-16k aren't investors instead they're speculators just giving their opinions which the market might follow or not. Investors are always about the positivity of the market and always discussing how the market will increase in the future but speculators are always doubtful and looking for lower buy opportunity to sell in the near future.

Bitcoin is likely to pump to $40k then dump to those price ranges, we are gaining more bullish sentiment in the market. The market has just retest $30k price and now trading above it. If we can stay that way for this week then the next week, Bitcoin will try to break pass $35k price.

I've seen one prediction today by some guy named Harry Dent who said he sees bitcoin at $3k. Turns out he's trying to peddle his book on the economic crash and giving extreme predictions makes him more popular. Yesterday I haven't heard about him, today, I googled his name, and this is going to work well for him. I bet he's sitting there checking google trends with his publisher.

Another interesting piece is by Mike McGlone, who a few months ago was bullish on bitcoin and bearish on the US dollar and stocks. He claimed that extreme tightening will crash stocks and pump bitcoin.
Now he thinks everything will crash, including bitcoin, and that we should buy gold.
I'm pretty sure somebody is paying these guys to make their predictions. They get 50k from some gold bug and change their stance by 180 degrees.

Hi I have been toying with the idea of investing in BTC but have waited due to some investors saying the price will drop to 12 - 16k again. do you think it could still drop to this or are we more likely to move on up to 40k?

thanks in advance.
I don't think waiting too long to invest in Bitcoin is a good idea because you don't know what the price of Bitcoin will be in the next few days or weeks, who knows if Bitcoin will climb up to attain a new all time high before it drops again,  I am not saying that bitcoin cannot drop down to your speculated amount but then we must be clear on the fact that Bitcoin is way too high for it to touch down to 16k anytime soon.

I have a friend who sold his personal belongings to invest in Bitcoin when Bitcoin touched its last discounted price of 20k and now he is in profits, but not all have that luck to be at gain at the present price but there is a certainty that if you hold for long you will definitely be in gain even if you bought at the present price.

The price of bitcoin will always fluctuate so that it makes us wise, when we invest Bitcoin then we must think that the chance of losing money is very large, many people hope that we can buy at a low price for example below $ 1000, but if the price of $ 1000 comes then he will be scared because he know the highest price in 2021 had reached $ 70K so he would postpone and only see the price movement.

Depending on someone's perspective, maybe investors who already understand this make them wise in choosing time, and there are also those who may be confused about choosing the right time to invest and this happens more often to laymen or beginners because they don't really understand, and this requires them to seek sufficient knowledge to know the risks that will occur when they want to invest.

Prices will fall after experiencing an increase is a process that often occurs.
For investors, they know many terms that describe a market condition.

Bitcoin is still on the $30K price support as of today and is expected to last until the end of the month.
Expecting a lower price to buy from the current price is not necessarily going to happen.
Generally, you can decide for yourself.

Waiting for a bearish signal at 12-16k I don't think it will be wise given the period where bitcoin has broken through the bear market and started the recovery phase since the beginning of this year. I don't think it's a confusion in how to choose your buy, the current price is still suitable for the plan to buy the dip and continue accumulating. The correction range is getting narrower and the opportunity to wait will be lost when the uptrend is deemed appropriate and consolidated by the market, 35k-45k is a big possibility. DYOR and good decision man.

Any other approach in the current market condition can be more risky so my recommendation is go for BTC rather then asking for the others opinion on the pricing because if you really know what BTC is then go for it and Start your DCA
I agree with DCA because patience with bitcoin has paid off with better directional market demand with a boom period ahead.

Why do you have to wait, until when, until the price drops again?
Bitcoin's recent bull is likely to continue with open interest reaching a five month peak. The Bitcoin price which just broke $30k needs strong supply side support to absorb the selling pressure in the coming weeks to sustain the recent surge in value.
Immediately do a CDA, don't regret it when the price breaks to $40k.

Never believe 100% what others say, do some personal research if you want to invest in Bitcoin. If your conscience says Bitcoin will soon go up to 40k, buy immediately to catch the fish when it enters the net. But if it's the other way around, wait until the lowest Bearish point then do CDA according to your ability. This bull run is a beautiful start for investors who have let go of the net when the price is below $ 30k, if you are still hesitant to enter, always monitor price movements every day, if you feel the time is right, take action immediately.

You have to speculate with the price, yes, but it is not an excuse for not investing, this is a classic mistake of falling into fomo, people always wait or lose time waiting for the price "x" to sell or buy (their first time in both cases)

You have to buy or sell, you have a limited vision of the matter in terms of price, the reality is that with the price range of this last year, by the way, June of last year was the last time that it exceeded 30k, if you bought At 16k you have accumulated a 2x, surely some of that may be influencing the price, currently.

In short, speculating on the price of Bitcoin is to make money in short periods (or lose it) people tend to believe that a hodl speculates on the price and it is not really so.

So, the point is that if you wait for better times, they may take many years or never arrive and this includes the ATH.

In any case, the point is that you cannot speculate without having the asset or the investment money, although that same niche of people who live in a limbo of not buying (their first time) when they do so are the ones who generate a bump and not a correction. (imho)

I'm not an expert, I'm just an investor who's been in the market for a while and has also gone through a couple of bearish seasons and made a profit from investing in bitcoin. I don't know what bitcoin will be like in the coming days, it could go up or down, I don't know.
But I know one thing, if you continue to wait for lower prices, you will most likely regret it and buy bitcoin at a higher price than it is now. Why don't you use the DCA strategy to buy bitcoins rather than waiting blindly? Don't wait any longer, buy bitcoin now, if you compare it with the old ATH, now is still a good price to accumulate bitcoin.

No one accurately knows where the Bitcoin price will go. If I were you, I'd pick my own price range at where I would buy or do it now and then regret or be joyful later. It's a risk that you must be willing to take. It's not like other investments out there that are mostly predictable due to their global financial changes and other reasons.
Bitcoin could go high even if there's a pandemic or a recession. Just check the charts and you will see. From $27k to breaking the 30k mark in just a month, that must mean something and we ain't even in recovery after the pandemic and war is still happening.

Who told you that the price will still drop to $12,000 to $16,000 again? If you will believe them and you will wait for that time to start buying, I'm afraid you will not be able to buy at all. $40,000 is much more possible than $12,000 to $16,000 at this point. But if you are really convinced that the price might fall that low, then divide your money. Start buying now and set aside another amount in case the price really drops more. But again, there is really no basis for the price to drop that low.
I also think the price will go up. But right now the market is euphoric, everyone thinks bitcoin is going to the moon again (like you and me), and usually the market moves contrary to expectations. Therefore it cannot be ruled out that the price will go back to the previous bottom. For example in 2020, when bitcoin was rising strongly, there was a collapse to the bottom of 2018. No one can say for sure how it will be this time.

we are more inclined to go up to $ 40k, although a few days ago until now the market is undergoing a price correction and we think this is not significantly low and not worrying, so we take from your big subtitles we focus on choosing the right time to Invest Bitcoin we think this could be the right time to Invest and if your target is $40k we will say it right away.

You're not just playing, you're playing safe and that's how you will usually miss the bottom. Asking the community for a specific price range won't gonna help you decide whether or not you are gonna buy at the current price, because nobody knows how the price would react with the news, traders, and some investors moving in and out. So, everything depends on how many people sell or buy Bitcoin, there's no way someone can predict that.
You think finding the bottom and buy from there is the safest investing technique? No, it's definitely DCA.

Anytime you like you can invest,  bitcoin is good, you can buy it now, tomorrow, anytime any moment, but before you go into any investment, crypto investment, bitcoin, understanding,  focusing and endurance, patient, is all. And You are still going to  need the technical analysis for you to figure out when is the right time to buy bitcoin and sell. Bitcoin is more used as an investment in the hope of greater profits due to its price growth in the future, and not as a means of payment the market will remain to fluctuate and it is highly unlikely that the btc market will not be stable. The DCA pattern which directly related to people who don't have the understanding investment.

Today the price dropped again below $30k, when the price is in the $30k area I often hear people will buy more when the price drops below $30k, if we don't buy now then we will be left behind and there is no chance to buy again cheap.

That's how human brain works. We're always too greedy or too fearful and the average price is somewhere in the middle.

For those who have problems choosing the right time to buy the best way is to DCA. I've seen articles where people debunk DCA as a worse type of investing because you average the entry point and by doing it make the resulting profit more average as well. A buyer who just does it at a price they see as "low" will get more profit in the end, provided that they're able to control themselves and hold if it flash crashes.

I'd say it's a good time to invest. We're either in the end of the bear market or the beginning of a bull market. Either way, the worst is behind us.
If we count the start of the bear market from November 2021 we've been in a bear market for the last 18 months. If we were in the 2018-19 bear market that would put us somewhere in June 2019.

Even though we can't predict bitcoin price with certainty, I'm very pessimistic about $12k or $14k this year. Even during the crashes of FTX and Luna, bitcoin price did not automatically collapse the $15k support, so one would expect little to find it dump below $15k after recovery.

do you think it could still drop to this or are we more likely to move on up to 40k?
The days are getting pretty bullish now, just buy and hold or accumulate it.
