Are there any legit crypto mining apps on Playstore? If yes, What are those? I tried to find out many crypto mining sites but all of those were scams.

Try StormGain.

They are an exchange but the app has a free cloud miner.

Profits from trading using the withdrawn faucet funds only

I think Google has been very slow in processing fraudulent applications like this...

Bitcoin mining applications and other Ponzi schemes that take advantage of the popularity of bitcoin are still widely circulated on the Play store and Apple Store. I think this must be resolved quickly so as not to swallow more victims.

yes.. I surely agree with you
Actually its really hard to determine basing up on numbers of apps that do really get listed on the app store and not only just focusing on crypto based app but other apps as well.
Although its just hard to think that for a big company or known one wont really be making out some issues but for sure they do already keep an eye on it.
For now it would be always talking about users own research and common sense. You wont really be finding this to be a big problem if you do
just know on how to spot out a scam.

It is well know for the people who have been in the crypto business for some time now that cloud mining are just a scam and a pyramid scheme, bitcoin and crypto are a market where the scam business is spread especially since the popularity of this industry is raising at a high rate, and that is one of the reason google took actions to ban crypto ads and now they lifted the ban and it is good to see them taking serious moves to combat the crypto scam without influencing the legit ones

Damn, all of them are indeed scam. It is a good action from google and it will protect users from falling into these kind of traps. Those businesses need to be verified carefully because 99% are pure scam so that I suggest you should not involve in. Why dont you stake your coins in some reliable defi project. They are much more profitable and safer.
But this is precisely the issue with all of this, Google is doing the best they can in order to get rid of any malicious application that could be uploaded to their store but this is never going to be enough, people need to learn to recognize when something doesn't look good on their own, that way you gain a way to protect yourself without the need of a third party and even more importantly you do not give those scammers any possibility of getting to your coins at any point in time.

They were either reported or Google was unhappy because they did not receive a percentage of the in-app purchases. If Google would get their 30%... all good !

I'm wondering why Google still doesn't ban Pi Network if the Pi network claims to be a legit mobile phone mining app because from what I remembered about Google play store, mining apps aren't allowed on the store. Even though there have been numerous debunkings of this application, many people are still duped by it. People are stubborn and prideful, and they refuse to accept the fact that it isn't a legitimate mining app if we use the fundamentals of crypto mining as a basis to check this Pi Network.

Based on this news, the removal of these apps has since been reported. This means that Google's actions to remove malicious applications are not based on independent research, only rely on reports from application users.

The Pi Network still has a lot of staunch fanatics, maybe on the one hand they are defending the Pi project so Google is still considering removing it. After all, Goolge play is still at its weakest in handling malicious apps.

I'm actually glad to see this happening.  I've seen way too many issues with web providers and social media outlets that allow way too many scammy things to be going on in their platforms.  YouTube, who of course is owned by Google, has a ridiculous amount of scams being promoted via ads that they are essentially doing nothing about.  I hope that this is the first/right step towards better security in that regard.

Is the war going on? When will Google stop hating crypto?
I think Google does not hate crypto but they delete an app containing malware, suspicious content or even a virus inside the app. Those apps are about cloud mining which does not give you profit at all. Google will have its rule on how they will ban the apps and this time, Google is doing the right thing to ban those apps so their user will not get the worst experience while using those apps. Hopefully, Google will be aware of the other apps that look suspicious and will investigate to find out more about the app so when they see something wrong from the app, they can directly ban and delete the apps from their list.

More than hundreds of Bitcoin mining applications are currently available on Google, various models, names and methods, 8 names of Bitcoin mining applications are banned, I don't think it matters for those who do Bitcoin mining, there are hundreds of others that can still be used.

The possibility that it is prohibited is a dangerous scam for miners and google.

Visit this link to know all details about flagging a APP; Report content issues or violations
Thank you for this information, I did not know before how to flag an app before, the link is very useful, but I have only just glanced through it, but I will make use of it even for other apps that are fake and waste of time.

I have no experience about the pro version, I did not use it because it demanded for money when I wanted to download it, but we all know how bitcoin mining is not profitable on phone, we can even say that bitcoin mining is no more possible on phone.

When I used the lite version in 2019, bitcoin mining difficulty has not been increased up to this point, bitcoin price during that time was $7000 to $8000. I even thought the app is using 1 satoshi for the mining progress, thinking I was gaining, it was later I know the number counting was 1/1000 or 1/100 of a satoshi (I have forgotten the exact mining amount, but it is either of the two). It can makes phone to be hot, though you can reduce the mining power, but the highest mining power is not profitable.

What I later know about the app is that it uses referral to also reward people, but the actual mining is a total shit.

This is not the first time I have heard that Google banned some mining apps on playstore, they should not think twice before they ban those apps because how can bitcoin be mined on phone, it is complete no possible. While most of them are cloud mining apps which is a way to scam people.

But I am still wondering why CryptoTab has not be banned when it is among them
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pro.cryptotab.android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lite.cryptotab.android

All cloud mining apps are fake, they should all be banned.
If you think that they are doing same like all recently banned apps then submit a report against this app and mentioned the exact reason during your submission. I am gonna take a look from my end soon and if I found similarities like all 8 banned apps then definitely they will get a report from my side.

That is what Google should do, protecting us from scammer who tried to stole our money. I think they should have special team that legally takes care of crypto applications available on playstore, so at least newbie can learn to earn in Google supervision. But even so, in general crypto will still be very dangerous for users who are not careful and don't want to read, so my advice is to ask an expert assistant if you want to do cloud mining and some action like that, Don't be persuaded by the profits offered, but think about losing your money if you transfer it to someone you can not trace their whereabouts.

Thanks to OP that willing to write it and inform us!

It was about time google took action about these so called fake apps which in turn scams investors
Too many victims even before they took action but this is better than no action at all. They only need to continue this as part of the crusade to eliminate scam apps on their platform.
There are thousands of such online apps in the world of cryptocurrency that are constantly cheating. All the above mentioned applications are the voice of the people for extra profit Coming with cheating. However, the Google authorities have deleted the above apps from their playlist list. Beware of those apps.
They can't remove all of them at once but let's hope that they're into a clean up that many of them will be gone soon.

^ We can also help Google too if we found apps that scam or something related to the fake app, we must report by them so that they will take action on it.
But obviously, these are all mentioned the OP is very suspicious, mining crypto wallet app that you don't have your own control over is a common scam wallet that we must be avoided. There are too many app wallets like this that are also used by the airdrop, sometimes they registered this on google but I don't how is the process of filtering apps on Google service that even scam apps or fake apps were successfully listed on google play store.

Google needs to step up their game in preventing the flood of fake apps into the Google Play Store; it is dangerous for users when they unknowingly install a fake app on their device thinking it is from Google Play; the action is long overdue, especially in the crypto space where funds are involved; it is easy to have so many fake apps in disguise as the original only to defraud people of their money; the action is long overdue; especially in the crypto space where funds are involved, it is easy to have so many fake

Cloud mining applications are indeed scam and its just right that Google would really ban or remove those apps for the protection of users. Those are just pretending that users who download are indeed doing some mining but its not because in the end of the day it would really be just requiring for you to make out some deposit before you could withdraw.

As long they wont really be deleting those useful and legit apps then it should be fine but deleting these is just really right and i dont really have objections with this or the entire community
surely does.
